Oh just so you know there are people still waiting for part two🥲 I am just going assume you had already graduated from college and now you have job.. i hopee😔
This is tooo funny! Great job! And yes, I will be mentally imagining Mark Darcy is Fitzwilliam Darcy's great-great-great grandson. I'm sticking with that theory. Period.
Bookwise, and I suppose what they lightly portray in the film - he's amused by her. She's fun and light. He was sent to boarding school as a small child and never really got to be anything other than serious and proper. He had such a rigid life, and was enchanted by her carefree nature. Embarrasment would be mortifying to him, but for her it was just another day. He has things she doesn't, and vice versa. She lightens him and helps him to breathe. Although his crippling self doubt/trauma from the first wife, make him really quite annoying until she has the baby. He's so quick to believe she's leaving him at every turn. But she also kind of does it too, like with Natasha. Although that was an accurate assertion in the book.
Supposedly, a woman's "value goes up" in a man's eyes, when other men are interested. ...Or, he didn't realize how much he liked her until her lost her to someone. That happens.
@@Bella-kz3qe Exactly! He is to her like a sigh, it's like coming home after a long day of work and taking a relaxing, warm shower. She brings him innovation, fun, passion, and all those things he is not by nature. I feel like Mark spent his entire life in relationships similar to the one he had with Natasha, women who are like him, perhaps very rigid, serious, and emotionally distant. However, Bridget breaks that pattern and shows him that she can also pursue him in her underwear in the middle of a cold winter just to seek forgiveness. She's not afraid to show him what she feels; she also fights for him, which is beautiful. Mark never surrounded himself with people like that, that's why he fell deeply in love with Bridget.
That's because this is a modern day adaptation of Pride and Prejudice the way Clueless is a modern day adaptation of Emma. That scene is supposed to be the Pride and Prejudice scene where Darcy tells Bingley that Elizabeth is tolerable, but not enough to tempt him.
This is hilarious 🤣 bravo! 👏 poor Mark… Bridget really doesn’t appreciate him a lot of the time, does she… especially in the second film! But you can’t help falling in love with her total unfiltered personality and rooting for both of them ❤️
Noooooooooooo 😭😭😭 Just nooooooo This is the most funny video on the Internet 💀✋ Nooooo Mark Darcy is my favourite male romantic character of all time😍 I loooooveee this sm i'm gonna dieeeeee😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cuanta creatividad 🤣 1:06 si parecía sufrir el pobre 😅 pero hasta a mi me dio vergüenza ajena esa conversación 😂 2:46 me encantó como quedó esa escena 😄
But why do romantic movies tend to portray a woman being silly or stupid as cute, whereas in real life intelligent and sharp women are often seen as more attractive. The only reason why I like Bridget Jones is for her good heart. Her feeling silly all the time might seem cute in a movie. But in the real world, a woman must build her self confidence. In the real world, it won't be cute. I would have preferred an ending where Bridget Jones built her self confidence regardless of whether Mark Darcy loved her or not. Sounds "unromantic" but that is what works in the harsh real world.
Mildly disagree, don't particularly like all "silly or stupid as cute" type of woman however it depends if it fits to her natural personality. It's not adorable when some girls do it to look cute or silly kinda think it's too attention seeking, especially the ones who make their voices smaller or pretends like a kid to look cute. But there are some who's unintentionally comical and seems silly and just so irresistibly too damn adorable to not find it charming + these kind of people often are the most sincere and genuinely kind hearted people. Feels unreal tbh.
@@olivesaregreatinspaghetti9769 Well, you have a point, l like her kind-heartedness too. But you must agree, in the world we live in today, confidence is very important, not just for men, but for women too. She doesn't have to become someone else...just confident in her own way or personality
@@tenithomas6891it's true really, Though we can't really have all women and men should and shouldn't be a certain way. I just say to each his own. We live life just as it is may it tolerate or not tolerate us depends on our perspective and level of contentment^_^

How could Mark go from Roasting her every 5 seconds to not being able to tolerate a guy talking to her, let alone touching her😳

In the world of fiction anything goes. Don’t compare the two. Real people aren’t that entertaining. Bridget Jones is.
