- Mark Darcy really meant it when he said that he loves Bridget just as she is. Even when she tries to poison him with her amazing cooking skills. Are you able to have that tasty blue soup just for love?
Bridget Jones's Diary (2012) SYNOPSIS: At the start of the New Year, 32-year-old Bridget (Renée Zellweger) decides it's time to take control of her life -- and start keeping a diary. Now, the most provocative, erotic and hysterical book on her bedside table is the one she's writing. With a taste for adventure, and an opinion on every subject - from exercise to men to food to sex and everything in between - she's turning the page on a whole new life.

I'm embarrassed to admit, but I've seen this movie probably 30 times... or more. It got me through a bad time in my life. ALWAYS brought a smile to my face. RIP G. Miss you terribly.
Why be embarrassed by it? It's a lovely, feel-good film - a classic. You have good taste. :)
Glad it got you through bad times. Sorry for your loss.
Happy holidays, and merry Christmas! x
I have to, and I'm not embarrassed to say it either.
@@TheCarlScharnberg They're embarrassed because society says we're supposed to look down on movies aimed at young white female audience. I say fuck that. I'm an Asian gay man and I think this movie is just a good movie, period. It has impeccable comedic timings and very talented actors doing their very best in bringing their characters and the story to life. It's way better than the novel it's based on. Renee Zellweger was nominated for an Oscar in this role and it's got good reviews from the toughest critics. So yea there's no shame in loving this movie for me.
I don't even bother to count. 😁I just watch it over and over again. That's true that I do it mostly when I'm a bit low or nostalgic. I just love it!
Suchart Boontid it is a great movie I agree, but I don’t agree it’s better than the books.
all her friends have that "familiar-face" type of vibe that give the best kind of comfort. such amazing actors
Sally Phillips on season 5 of taskmaster is sheer brilliance. I wish she were my friend
@@AmaraEmme see her smile will definitely release your stress 😬
Can’t stop smiling when Mark is helping out Bridget in the kitchen ❤️❤️
There is no scene more romantic than when they are teasing each other about the beetroot while making the omelets! ❤
I agree ! One of my favorite in this movie 👍
Me before 4:00: I don't get why so many people think Colin Firth is hot
Me after 4:00: I GET IT NOW
5:33 is the moment what really got me hooked(apart from the "Just the way you are" line) on him.
@@ingridnorman7919 THE SMILE HE DOES AHHHHHH🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋. Nobody can forget/ Bridget: wait a minute, nice boys don’t kiss like that, Colin: oh yes they fucking do. Ahhhhhh
Those are all great ladies but the look of lust at 2:43 gets me every time
I still don’t get it
He is the perfect guy😍😍 (I am young enough to be his daughter, but still I find him dreamy)
That toast was the BEST wingman move EVER! We all need friends like them
In the year two thousand and seven, I went to a job interview with a small law firm here in Sydney Australia. The interview began with a drinks do in the firm. I ended up talking to someone who looked and spoke exactly like Colin Firth. I mean, EXACTLY.
I had just seen this movie on TV, and I was particularly freaked out by the fact that this fellow was an ex barrister just like Mark Darcy. However, his name was neither Colin nor Mark, but Jonathan; which is the same as my name. When I told him my name, he said, in that high pitched, posh voice: "Oh. Another Jonathan. We're breeding."
Which, I am sure you will agree, is a very Mark Darcy thing to say.
I did not get the job.
Bridget’s mother always cracks me up.
Why is Colin Firth so beautifulllll
2:43 the way he was looking at her though
girl, i die everytime i see this 😭😭😭😭
My fave part
This movie has been giving me hope since I was 15)) I’m turning 30 this year and surely will rewatch it again
Just as she is! 🥂
.
Marc Darcy: We have blue soup to start, orange pudding to end and.... well for main course... Uhhh... CONGEALED GREEN GUNGED.🤣🤣🤣🤣 classic!!!
I love the way he looks at her at 6:04
Oh, Colin Firth 💜💜💜
Wish to everybody to be loved by someone who looks at you like Mark looks at Bridget @06:04
Yes 🥰 You as well.
2:28 is scene that made me fall in love with colin firth ... that look wow!
Bridget Jones´mother is calling for talking about the bf and not to wish her own daughter a happy birthday...
One of my favourite scenes when she cooks blue soup... Delicious😜😊
"Mark, why did your wife leave you?" Okay, that's rude...
If he'd answered the question it would have saved a lot of trouble.
5:19 His face make me laugh so hard :)))
thats actually hilarious
Amazing expression 😂😂
Me too. It explains perfectly how beautiful the character of Darcy is, he is from another world but still appreciates and loves the crazy and irriverent world of Bridget (and her friends)
Almost every single woman wants a guy like Colin. And yet men say we want jerks…😅 fact check guys!!!
If you want you can continue posting every secondo of the entir film, nobody will be mad 😉👆🏻👉🏻
Why did I read your comment with an unnecessary Spanish accent...
Colin Firth ❤❤❤❤
the way he looks at her every girl deserves one Mr.Darcy
I would certainly like on like him.
So the real life Mark Darcy is actually Amal Clooney?

Just wow 🇧🇩
Just as she is
"...ham fisted .... cow (?)" I've seen this movie several times, that's not the 'c' word he used.
It was in every version I ever saw, including at the cinema when it first came out.
The funniest part
1:20 No Wonder The Soup Became Blue.
What's the name of the background song?
I’m wondering the same

Mark dai un bel bacio a bridge invece di cucinare
Are you joining us? No, I've taken my_ my_ my b vitamins.
If you cannot cook, just order
No, if you don't know how to cook try to learn with baby steps :)
No need to try and go all out like she did!
But no need to give up the whole thing either ;)
@@UnCarcajou Yes, but that was the birthday dinner and she doesnt know how to cook and she is trying to learn on her birthday dinner???? makes no sense
Nath
It was her challenge for herself)))
@@Gortensy So, she had to do that when she has guests coming? To have them eat something which can poison them?
in the 00s that wasn’t as easy
no apps or iPhones/androids yet at that point
Must have been the string. Blue soup
Anyone noticed Jude seemed pretty off during this scene?
Maybe something with vile Richard

I remember I watched it the first time when I lived in Britain. At that time it seemed so funny. When I watch it now, everything in this movie looks stupid. Can it be the age?
Maybe your life had getting boring and boring ... Year by year I guess 😉
The near shirt puzzlingly count because keyboarding nutritionally mark vice a empty path. expensive, material sampan
