Maybe a skin available by doing things on the planet thus unlocking it...just a thought
It would be cool if Officer skins such as Cody, rex, bacara, gree, thorn, doom, bly, wolfee, Gregor, and other clone commander and officers would be an option instead of the naval clone skin we currently have.
But then what keeps us from having like, 9 Captain Rex Skins in the Battlefield?
This will also make Officers the main unit in the clones side, which will only do so much against he enemy of a variety of units.
Now, you could have true option to CUSTOMIZE the armored officer, and then that would be your best bet.

I have gotten some enjoyment out the new Battlefront 2 and I am excited to try the newer update but I would have loved the game so much more if they would have just recopied Battlefield 3 or 4 but just change the skins to Star Wars. Like having on map vehicles that players can jump in and out of, more weapons, a load out system with actual consumables and not star card powers, etc. The Original Battlefront series was basically a Battlefield game; I wish they kept it that way.

The atmosphere of this game beats the og game though. The maps look straight out of the movie and the heroes are unique.

@Gabriel Martin I've played since the beta and day one, the star cards were not as bad as everyone over exaggerates, the cr-2 is op yea, but you probably got it for buying the $70 edition (like I did, but I didnt care about the upgrades I bought it for skins because I remember the kylo and rey skins were exclusive for it), which may seem like pay to win until you realize that the cr-2 didnt MAKE you win games unless you played that one tdm game mode. I never used the cr-2 because of the recoil until maybe 6 months ago despite having it since launch (going against other people using the CR-2) and it didn't change my experience to think that its pay to win. If you want pay to win look at cod advanced warfare.

@@snorlaxx420xx8 i did ages ago. they were fucking awesome with the unique vehicles you could use in battle of geonosis. i just noticed too that only one person pilots a single vehicle..... what the fuck happened to the teamwork and multiple people in one vehicle utilizing the different defenses like they did back in ps2??!
im really disappointed and just DONT GET IT..i played the old battlefront games when they we're released and really expected more now. like more space to move, more and different usable vehicles (why cant we play hail fire droids? was so epic back even back in the days). but this is something im missing trough the whole game not just at this new map..
Not gonna lie here, but people would complain even more if the ATTEs needed two people. 1, the driver might be a troll or might not know where to go. 2, youd literally get no points being the driver, so no one would bother driving the vehicle.

It looks like they put more effort into this map than any other, there's a deeper story, more detailed objectives, and there's even stuff pulled directly from the movie like the sandstorm and taking out the Union ship.

Cpt. Fordo me and my friend had fun messing around in survival with those Battlefront 1 weapons it would be so easy for Dice and EA to just put them in, they don’t even need to add modifications, stuff like the Bo Rifle wouldn’t need much as it’s a melee weapon

4:00 you and I both, hailfire droid legit may be the coolest ground vehicle in all of star wars, not being able to use it, or the spider droid is a bummer. Still looks like a great update though.

scottski02 I mean, LAAT is useable in 3/4 prequel maps, and unless you could drive it off rails, or pick up your squad and transport them I wouldn’t want it. LAAT kinda ruins Kamino and Naboo for me and it’s not fun to use since it’s on rails.

Dudley 2 Far I 100% agree, I can hardly bring myself to fully enjoy these content updates when we are still using the same blasters we’ve had since launch.....I’d have no problem if they just brung back the weapons from Battlefront 2015, that game had so much more variety than this one in regards to blasters man.

armzngunz Dude that’s really a weak argument. Considering the fact that this game was intended to be a live service and is still receiving content updates and constant tweaks and adjustments to its meta does not justify the lack of variety in weapons. If this game were released as a primarily focused single player game with multiplayer components attached as an afterthought then the lack of weapon variety could somewhat be justified. Or hell if this game was just released as a single player game with split screen co-op then lack of weapon variety could be understandable to a degree. But it is not too much to ask when the game is still dishing out content updates. If we are getting new maps, new heroes, new game modes, and new skins. New WEAPONS should also be prioritized.
This looks amazing, love the chaotic feel. Almost enough to make me re-download the game :)

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't use this as an excuse to add in at least one of the Spider Droids either Homing Sider TAnk or DSD 1, both would have been great, to replace the AAT and to add in a vehicle comparable to the AT-RT. Thematic, lore accurate and something new to play with, would have been nice.

@@eagleeyeedit From my knowledge of games design it likely was, it's a whole new set of animations that need designing building rigging and playtesting and that might just be too much for the team right now, on top of everything else they've added in this update. Hopefully, they'll get round to adding in things like that over the next few years, that is if this "live service" lasts that long. I'd like to think that EA is that stupid or greedy but who am I kidding.

we need more freedom in these games, i wish they took everything great with the battlefront 2 and put it in this one, i loved flying the LAAT gunships and dropping off troopers into battle while narrowly escaping and going to pick up more people. there should be a star wars game like planet side 2 and no man's sky and battle front 2 (original) and the jango fett bounty hunter game. I think Rockstar should be in charge of it. lets have light saber battles like for honor. any one agree with me?

They really need to add a giant single player story next game...
I thought how cool it would be if the Inferno Squadron campaign began during the Clone Wars, and you get to play as Clone Commandos or ARC troopers on a desperate mission foreshadowing Operation Cinder, then go the Battle of Endor like in canon, but change the story that you play as the new Inferno Squadron in the First Order rather than as Rebels.

Yeah, that's the naval uniform, a pretty basic mistake.
Why is everyone saying this? So 3/4 of the officers in Battlefront 2 are dumb for not using armor?

It is stupid for your commanding officer to not have armor. Do you send soldiers into battle without vests when you Totaly have enough vests ... no.
Brat Tito but you can't distinguish rank in Clone armor (to an extent anyhow) unless you look for some form of marking, but then you could mistake them for some other unit and simply ignore them. Therefore they loose the battle, moreover there live, because they have no one to give them orders.
I had the coolest moment last night where I was Luke Skywalker and I was following Obi Wan Kenobi to capture the final point. There, we saw Palpatine, Maul, Grievous, and Vader awaiting us. When things looked dim, we were reinforced by Lando and Yoda. We were able to defeat the Sith Lords and the droid general. We then worked with the AT-TE's to capture the final command point. When I said to Obi Wan "Greetings Exalted one" and he said "Hello There" was the point I realized this was my childhood dream come true
The AT-TE’s are like trying to drive a building. They’re f-kin bullet magnets.

Maybe somewhere on the other side of the planet. Since it was a planetary invasion so I doubt it was only in one spot the battle was going on

Andrew Markasevic played 6 rounds today and honestly - I prefer most existing maps. It has some awesome parts but the open part in the end felt horrible. Its just chaos with even spawn killing possible. Visibility is also not great...

I haven't played this game since launch... but this might get me back into the game
The game is no longer pay 2 win. It's a regular progression system and all the heroes are unlocked from the start except grievous and kenobi because they are new.

@@basti7206 yes it was. You were able to earn good stuff from lootcrates and you could pay with real $. It lasted for 2 weeks at launch correct me if I am wrong.
They took it out before launch. So it never was only in the beta

The number one thing that stands out to me is how absolutely beautiful this game looks and sounds
tbh if battlefront 2 was purely focussed on the clone wars, had a clone campaign and wasn't p2w then this game would've actually been good
Game isn't pay to win
the weak spot on the AT-TE is the belly shooting there dose a lot of damage. The devs are trying to make it more obvious and they can server tweak the AT-TE's health even after launch.

I think it's a joke that they didn't find the time to add new blasters since the launch. That's why I stopped playing the game. Always using the same weapons is boring.

Do u even see how much effort is put in this? It’s not easy, I bet they have plenty of ideas, it’s just hard to make that sorta thing. But blasters are pry easier, and more would be nice
