That simple "you're welcome" to Grievous remains one of my favorite battle droid moments ever lol
I dont even think the excuse me part was supposed to be in the film, cause the B1s were just a guy in a green suit with weird orbs on him for tracking, so the actor actually said "excuse me" when walking to grievous lol (this seems obvious but I mean just cause he was bumping into funi obi-wan or anakin actor)

Glorious absolutely glorious. You know, does anyone else feel kinda bad every time a battle droid gets killed?
Often their defenseless, carrying no blasters, and don’t even try to fight back with their fists, and they beg for mercy, and the Jedi break their rules and kill defenseless Battle droids. They were hypocrites from the start.
There were a few times when it was justified, like the one Grevious killed because he couldn't hit a single target that couldn't dodge or fire back.
@@patcole7038that's called fragging (a war crime for killing your own personnel, not the "fuck" substitute in Transformers) and is arguably one of the worst of the bunch.
@@Enjeru_blizzardjira and they were shown to feel, or at least simulate, pain, therefor every time a Jedi cuts down a droid with their lightsaber because "its just a droid" is the exact same as a Sith slaughtering organic life.

R2 D2's Droid Squad were heroes. They deserved to stay alive.
It's just about programming lmao but yeah, they were very human like.
I fee like reprogramming some droids from the enemies could have help the Republic to implement some spys or even an army against the Empire.
@@reevil402I could easily imagine they won't be so loyal to the Rebels or the Empire. They just want to fry up those dirty meatbags and take the galaxy for their own! Now as for the Clones, I've already seen them as some of the predecessors of the Rebellion, especially the Bad Batch.

I’m starting to wonder if these guys can be rebuilt and we’re just seeing the same two droids getting their ass kicked
I did hear that they go to recycle the destroyed Battle Droids from different battlefields to make more, and they tend to remember some things.
normally broken battle droids where salvaged for functioning parts which where reused too build new droids the parts that where broken beyond repair where turned into scrap metal
I mean canonically yes they are rebuilt saves on resources. But no they aren't all thevsame droid
@@coachlombardi9657 If thier CPU and hard drive was still in one piece I guess they would still remember what happend before they died if thier optics was able to observe it and since they are machines PTSD don't really effect them as much
@@Groza_Dallocort They may be machines, but they do think and feel pain, so I can see them getting PTSD. Maybe not as bad as people, but it could affect them just the same.

Moments like this made me really like the goofballs. Love the Rebels episodes with Kalani, because there they got a chance to finally shine.
If you look at it, Jedi we’re “Droidist” what I mean is they were ruthless and merciless to droids, yet most of the time they sought to capture organic ones.
Well, its a society that keeps droids as slaves, so droid lives are not assigned the same value as an organic. And battle droids don't know any information worth interrogating them for.
That’s what happens when you have two armies of literally disposable people.
Actually, Mace Windu in the Bad Batch episode offered the battle droids a chance to surrender.
