When Ryan kept saying “it’s an old car” it was hitting me right in my heart. Those civic si still go for $5-10k easy. Eric could’ve used that motor on his base model rsx 🤣.
He's like no don't pour the five gallons of water on it let the fire department take care of it. Then set up a time lapse video of the thing burning. Question his reason of saying let the fire department do it mabey views good content was on his mind above everything else.
It’s just an old car to you, it’s a lifeline to most of us. Marcel is right. That being said there was nothing to do but let it burned. If you open that hot flames fly everywhere. Love from L.A.
Yeah, Marcel is right. No way her insurance gives her enough money to buy an equivalent replacement car in this car market. She’s probably going to have to pay some extra out of pocket. Ryan seems to be doing pretty well as a business owner, he can afford to have three cars for himself alone (the crown Vic, the mustang, and the easy money truck), plus all the cars for his wife and kids. Not everybody is that lucky
I like how you comforted the woman, but I feel what Marcel said. A friend of mine bought an old rusty civic for a couple hundred, but it opened up completely new avenues in his life. Didn't need to be driven to hangouts with friends anymore, could get to new jobs that were out of the way of public transportation, could drive himself to the bank, grocery shop, etc. Having a personal vehicle can be a night and day difference in life, whether the car is nice or not, and for some people they're not always that easy to acquire.
I have to agree with Marcell, to some it is life changing especially in current times. Would the same be said about the Mustang and Crown Vic, they're both "old" cars too.

I'm a recent subscriber to your channel. I stumbled upon while doing research on pouring a concrete slab for my newly built garage. You and your crew are very entertaining and look forward to your new postings. Anyway, just an FYI, the videos I find most entertaining and informative are your specialty jobs like that fire pit and that complicated stair case sidewalk you did several months ago. Thank you sir
In east Tennessee, I had an acreage and I built a camper cover on the side of a hill that was 8' above grade on the low end. I used 6 tandem axle trucks of fill dirt and compacted and watered every truck load with a hand tamper. It only settles a couple of inches over the years!
I actually can't believe you managed to completely change the level of that place, get everything set ready for pour, hang out with the guys and help a lady with her deathtrap all in one day, you put most of us to shame for sure.
You did a great job helping that woman with her car on fire because she was very nervous and couldn't call 911… Thank you for being a good samaritan, we need more people like you.

I am thankful I found your channel. Situations like the car fire and seeing your reaction makes me aspire to be like you one day. 🙏🏻 thank you and god bless
Man without a controlled spray that could have been seriously dangerous if Marcell dumped a bucket of water on her car. Good on you Ryan for keeping everyone calm and their wits about them. Also congrats on 200k subscribers 🎉
You handled that lady well in her time of emergency and possibly prevented her from being injured. Like you said that car is not as valuable as her safety and move away. Have been at a car fire where someone was installing a car stereo and the fire was getting going fairly well and the young man would not leave until I started using some abusive language . It was not long after that the gas tank exploded and he came back and thanked me.
Hey Ryan hope youre hanging in there with this concrete-cursing heat! I just wanted to leave a comment about Daryl - I dont know your relationship but I imagine its something like he was with you at the old company and followed along with you when you went to start your own operations. Daryl has been troublesome; not caring about a good job and deflecting blame. However he has his upsides as well. Loyal, and a good-hearted guy. He seems shaken up by your notice, which is good. Hes in a good spot to be nurtured into a better class of worker. If he starts putting his head down and working hard, make sure you acknowledge it and praise him for it. Conversely, if he starts slacking you gotta press him on it, over time we just want stress-free work days and he'll gravitate towards the praise. Youre a good guy Ryan and have given him many chances, that wasnt a mistake, he has the building blocks of a solid piece of the crew. Nows the time to dial him in! Take care of yourself

Another day another dollar, I like that you emphasize a clean job site. Nothing says We are professional better than a clean and organized job site. Keep up the great work.
I am a Batchman and QC tech for a Transit Ready Mix company here in WV, so I've been watching from the start. In my off time, I am a Deputy Fire Chief and state certified Level 1 and Level 2 instructor for my local Volunteer Fire Department; which happens to be the busiest department in my county, we have the biggest run area and have to major Interstates that we cover (I-79, and Expressway 19). The dispatcher was correct in saying DO NOT attempt to extinguish the fire and stay at least 100' away. There are a lot of hidden dangers in a vehicle fire. 1 not only is the smoke producing Hydrogen Cyanide from the burning plastics and foam, but you are unaware of what is happening under the vehicle, could be leaking fuel or oil which could flash and engulphed you in the fire, the tires could have blew which would break your legs in less than an eye blink, also "older" vehicles have magnesium in them which reacts violently with water, the dangers are numerous but those are just a few. Also if you noticed the flames broke thru at the front driver corner which more than likely already burned thru the hood release cable, so trying to put water on it yourself would've been a risk and pointless. Which is why you saw the fire fighters use a K12 saw and do a "V" cut around the hood latch. I do not agree with the K12 saw as it throws sparks and could've ignited fluid on the ground, my policy is the jaws to spread and break the latch. But every department has different SOPs/SOGs and everyone's truck is set up differently. Congrats Ryan on instructing everyone to stay and make sure they stayed back. Luckily nothing did happen but could have easily happened.
Hey Ryan I know your usually a nice guy but just like in my case I have a 2000 impala and sometimes an old car is all you have and it means a lot to you like in my case that car gets me to work and my kids to school then gets my wife up and down to run her errands without our old car we would be in trouble just saying ... Thanks
Fireman: It appears your mechanic is responsible for the car catching on fire, who worked on your car? Lady: Some guy named Daryll fixed it on Monday instead of showing up to his job
Personally, I'd would have tried my hardest to put that fire out....surly someone had a fire extinguisher. I didn't see that car as being a "piece of junk" and who knows what kind of financial shape she's in, and that car could have been that important to her. Of course, I wouldn't want anyone getting hurt either...but I would have made some short of effort. Not saying I'm right, but it's just my opinion...
@@timgreen1835 yeah, i wasn't too pleased with ryan calling it a piece of junk. he has money to buy a crown vic and a mustang and fix them up as toys. that car might be junk to him but gold to her.

The channel is doing amazing.. and Darryl has been a bit quiet since you gave him his last warning.. he probably didn't like it but he has to remember that at the end of the day, you're running a business and your business relies on your guys showing up to get the work done, if they're not going to come in it's not that hard to take a couple seconds out of their day to let you know so that you can make arrangements.. he has no one to blame but himself for that letter, you're just doing what a boss is supposed to do.. in my opinion he's really lucky because as many times as he did no call no show, he would of been fired from somewhere else in a blink of an eye, he wouldn't of gotten as many chances as he did with you, but maybe he'll realize that he's the one who needs to change for the better and give you that respect
No call no show is one strike and you’re out as far as I’m concerned.
@@rustyshackleford2007 well what if there was a personal or family emergency and wasn't able to call or show no matter how hard they tried? I can understand 1 time but as many times that Darryl has done it, he should of been let go a long time ago.. and the 2 week suspension with no pay isn't gonna bother him.. we all know with how lazy he is, he's loving the 2 weeks off
You are a great man Ryan for helping that lady! Love the videos
Ever since I’ve started watching you, I’ve always loved how the guys pick up on your lingo. Like ‘Right in my heart’ or ‘Easy money’, gotta love it.
This is the only channel where I don't skip forward. Easy money!
You did a great job keeping that lady calm and taking control of the situation. And a gold sticker for setting up the tripod for that victory style content 😂
Not sure he saved her from a death trap. She was already out of the car and away from it. Nice he kept her calm though.
Ryan for president. 🙂🙃😉
Congrats on 200k Subs!!!Awesome Video and Much Love as Always Ryan & Crew!!!
You did a great job helping that woman with her car on fire because she was very nervous and couldn't call 911… Thank you for being a good samaritan, we need more people like you.
Very impressed how you dealt with the woman, calm, confident and soothing. I'm sure she appreciated your help very much.
Man I sure hope scott is okay with being sick. Been gone for awhile will add him to my prayers tonight.
19:44 You said crazy stuff always happens around you. Maybe because you're so calm and positive that it needed to be you it happened around.
18:20 You kept her calm when she was on the verge of a panic attack. You did a lot more than you may realize for her.
Crazy things happen around everyone all the time. You sir are awake and kind enough to be apart of it rather than thinking you are above it!
It’s always something. Glad you were there to help out.
I bet if Daryl Sr was in 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', he would run towards the Boulder! 🤣🤣🤣
I just love your videos and wanna let you know that your helping me trough a very difficult time of life.thanks
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thomas
I hope your difficult time gets better 🙏
@Jay Dog You have no idea what they might be going through.
I would have been a frantic as that woman, but your calm voice talking to her definitely kept her calmer.... Great job
I am thankful I found your channel. Situations like the car fire and seeing your reaction makes me aspire to be like you one day. 🙏🏻 thank you and god bless
Love to see how happy Francisco was just to get a new hat! So awesome
Because he puts $100 dollar bills inside of them. That's why Eric wanted one so bad.
Man without a controlled spray that could have been seriously dangerous if Marcell dumped a bucket of water on her car. Good on you Ryan for keeping everyone calm and their wits about them. Also congrats on 200k subscribers 🎉

"What do you have to say to the whole world"
The whole world is watching - love your channel, love you guys.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Getting my fill of Ryan and his crew. A good day. God bless.
You have a big heart like Bobby Boucher 😎👍
Thank you for all the great videos. I watched you last summer and have been watching you this summer, keep up the good work.
Congrats on 200k Ryan. Proud to say I’ve been here since almost the beginning.
Love seeing you try to get some compaction out of placing fill! Im specifically a geo tech i do special inspections in Charlotte, NC. And watching your videos has helped me understand alot with the concrete aspect of my job!
Eric always has a good attitude, you love to see it
Good day Ryan, i heard you mention in one of your videos about selling the lawn business. Did you do Lawn and Landscaping before doing concrete? What made you transition away from mowing? I currently am into my 7th year of lawn and landscaping down in Iowa. Look forward to your videos on the weekly. Thanks for just being an awesome human, we need more people like you!
You did a lot of extra work. You said you charged them for 500sqft. You’re a nice guy. I hope you charged for all that additional prep to make this patio work. You’re the best
It’s great seeing a video in the middle of the week. Daryl seems quiet, is he ok after you gave him the letter? Congrats on hitting 200 thousand subscribers!!!! Your channel is awesome !!!!!
I was wondering what that letter said
It probably said hey don't show up one more time and you're done?
@@fuku2bitch It's called a final notice. You create a paper trail of an employees mistakes/misconduct so when you have to fire them, they can't get unemployment from you
Bill,
I agree noticed a change in Daryl. Hope that letter made an impact, hope he realizes just how grateful he is to still be working w Victory.
Hopefully it’s not about conduct and maybe something else because Darryl seems to know the whole town .. you need someone like that on the team no one is perfect .. but as long as he don’t talk back to the boss that’s what matters .. easy money
The old car got me in my heart :(
Intro never gets old💯
Man I love to see you being the guy you are day in and day out
Eric with the hard hat had me howling lol. He should wear it full time.
I prefer a hard hat over the hats they use because it keeps the sun off your head. When I was wearing a hat out in the 110f heat I could feel my scalp was about to boil lol
What a shoddy contractor of the deck build. Those Stairs should be redone.
Congrats on 200k Ryan. You are a great leader and person. Love watching your videos and the channel grow. Easyyyyyy money!
Appreciate it!
Hahah I love this dudes' attiude. I love the sarcastic comment saying "it is way to early for this..Eric"". Lol this brought a smile to my face.
200k congrats 🎊🍾🎉
Great video!
always something when you're workin victory style! good work boss
Thanks
Yeah not all of us can afford a 500/month car payment. Especially with food and gas at these sky high prices.
That’s what good insurance is for. Once smoke is coming out, what’s done is done. No point in crying over spilt milk, you know?
No saving it once it’s on fire whatever that caused it will be a expensive fix be better off getting another car anyway
“Staying calm in a situation that calls for panic is the key to survival or death”
Woke up to see this video before work what a treat. Thank you bud. Had to finish watching after work
Fireman: It appears your mechanic is responsible for the car catching on fire, who worked on your car?
Lady: Some guy named Daryll fixed it on Monday instead of showing up to his job
That car could have been her world. Alot of us can't afford another vehicle on short notice
@@ElPajaroMeaPrietas yeah those civic SI’s were nice cars back in the day. That one was probably 14 years old, but still. If he grabbed a fire extinguisher he probably could have saved it. Now it’s definitely totaled.
He calls that Honda junk……Meanwhile his kids are driving Kia’s.
Why are your videos so addicting, great job as always guys.
Way to be cool calm and collected. Going into a burning building is a rush unlike anything I've ever experienced! I just discovered your channel and have been binge watching, keep it up!
Happy 200k Ryan
marcels right that car fire can be a huge hit to some people.
😮 🔥 🙏 Ryan and the guys never disappoint. Congratulations 🎉 200,000 👏👏
Been watching your videos since the dawn of time. (a year ago) Your videos are the only ones I watch from start to finish, keep it up!
I assume the stair folks thought the patio would be significantly higher. Like up to the bottom of the siding?
I'm pretty confident they left it short because their 16ft stringer board couldn't fit anymore steps on it. So instead of ordering a 20' they left it short
@@shawndinterman2219 I’m assuming they did it to the siding as well, just my opinion I’ve never built a deck before there was a patio
With new constructions, have you ever thought about trying to make ramps instead of steps, like out that back door where it would be super easy? As someone in a wheelchair, it’s crazy just how few houses (something like 3%) don’t have steps, despite 26% of Americans having a disability. Ya never know when someone you love will end up with one. Anyway, huge congrats on 200k! Love ya guys, even Darry! 🤣
it really comes down to the customer not Ryan
@@MR.BOOM3779 But sometimes it’s worth just mentioning or thinking about. Anyway, cheers. Happy Wednesday
You have no idea how happy I am hearing you say you have to compact that much in lifts
200k!!!! VICTORY STYLE BABY!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!
Let’s go!!!
Hello from kansas!
Keep uploading videos, your videos are our best UA-cam show we watch after working 12 hours from hospital and bf work from concrete. Love from Toronto Canada.
Congratulations on 200k subs that’s so crazy to see it grow from when I first joined excited to see what y’all do for it!
