I’m glad he’s doing that with Eric. Some people don’t give others opportunities to get better or learn new skills sometimes they just wanna keep that guy where he is so they have a for sure guy for like free floating or finishing but it’s good to see Ryan be a actual good boss and give him the opportunity.
That shows just how much he trusts Eric
VERY VERY VERY few bosses do this it's really nice to see Ryan do that hopefully Eric doesn't take advantage of it use it to get himself established then leave Ryan high and dry I've seen it happen but maybe Ryan doesn't mind if he betters his life which is what most bosses say they want but really don't.

Been watching a few of your videos this week. You are how all bosses should inspire to be. You are good with your guys, you care about them. Don't seem to ever get visibly frustrated or mad ever when they mess up - and you are always teaching them. Hopefully they are taking all the knowledge you give them to heart for the future. You are a great dad Ryan!! Sometimes even when you’re tired after a long day of work/life, you MUST make time to play soccer outside with your kids!! Some of my favorite memories growing up were of similar situations with my dad! A lot of kids never have that and it’s sad! I hope your kids feel and understand the amount of love pouring out of you! If not now, being that they’re young, one day they will!

I think in true Victory style, you should name the cat after the boss - Darryl. In the UK, and I think a bit more so in Wales, Darryl is used as both a male and female name. You should go with that.

I was given an old business lesson many years ago. You can have 2 of the 3 options. Price, quality, or service. Which 2 do you want? There are tradeoffs in each one. I always valued each of my vendors and their services and knew that with quality and service comes with a price. That being said I think my vendors respected that we both wanted value for those services. Hope this makes sense.

I would’ve suggested the fire pit that hangs of the back end of the slab, furthest away from the house because it’s safest and also leaves 95 percent of the patio for any kind of use but you’re the gentleman running the show and know what you’re doing.

I been a concrete finisher for a couple years and decided to open a tool shop. Not as easy as i thought it would be. Working 7 days a week and always thinking about the business makes it very stressful but we have grown many customers that motivate us to keep going to provide the best service.
