- Join the concrete crew as we rip out a large asphalt driveway, expand the area and prep it for concrete. We have had some great weather lately and this day was no exception.

I find it wild that watching someone work and show the most honest form of living I've seen is more interesting than most TV shows.
I think this says more about how bad tv is nowadays than it does your choice to watch Ryan :)

im not even in the trades. Im a professional chef that runs a consultancy that helps failing restaurants and own 2 of my own. and i watch victory everyday. and ive never poured concrete in my life or care about it. But now i do. Im even starting a small slab for a shed. bough a stand mixer and got everything graded and ready. Probably should of called a professional. But they make it look so interesting. and honestly i love it.

What Daryl said is factually accurate... There's blind spots in a cat. If you're Infront of a cat... Then obviously it's the operator that should be paying the most attention. If you're to the side or behind. It's the others responsibility.

Man, i never had an interest in concrete or trades in general. I've been a professional chef for 14 years. I run a consultancy that helps failing restaurants get on their feet and learn how to run a well-oiled machine. So basically, I train managers who run restaurants. But for some reason I catch myself watching you every day. I even started doing my own shed slab. You guys make it seem like so much fun. and honestly i havent bonded with family this much in years. Im glad i ran across your channel. It gave me a better outlook towards life, and i mean that. Youre a good dude. Also youre not far from me. Im in Joliet, IL

@@daviddilbeck7594 I think that's why Ryan left it in and didn't say anything back. He knew he was right but Ryan was also right in the sense of if something did happen its still the operators duty to be aware of their surroundings. Just a mistake that was hopefully learned before anything bad happens for both laborer and operator.

Opperator is always responsible for his machinery and making sure he has identified and isolated all potential dangers. Other workers and foot traffic should be isolated through safe zones or barricades, if they are not the opperator is responsible for opperating in unsafe conditions

Nothing better than waking up to a new victory video. I don't know about the rest of you guys but these videos are like medicine to me, it brings me joy and motivation every time I see them. Ryan, I just stumbled on your channels about a week ago. I have watch a ton of videos and have no idea why I all of sudden enjoy watching all these concrete videos, but what I do know... is that I enjoy watching how humble you are. You treat your people as if they are your own family and the respect between ya'll is amazing. Other companies and employers should take notes from you. It is so hard to find someone to work for that treats others with respect, I would work for someone like you in a heartbeat. The work of from you and your team is top notch! Stay awesome man!

Pretty awesome. I treat my customers really well and those kind sorts generally treat me and my guys like gold. One lady in lake forest brought us fresh pastries every day for 3 months. We worked so extra hard for their kindness. Our jobs are always light and respectful, but great customers make hard work easier.

I worked on pipeline construction as a young man. One time in south Texas, I was cutting and capping a gas main in a hole that I had to be lowered into head first. a dozer operator pushed dirt to close and buried me. He was fired by the job super on the spot! A good operator is always aware of his surroundings!
