  • At this install the customer moved from another home and was renting a bsmt suite at the new house. Approval was confirmed with the owner and I started the job. The direction of the satellite made it possible to locate the dish on the back of the house to get of the trees to the south. One of the rooms had to be wired from the outside but the other 2 rooms I could connect to existing RG6 connections in the cable box.

It would have been nice to see how you did it

Keeping it simple, removing the siding, when possible just hides the cable, as long as the cable isn't damage by screw or stamples there is no negative effect on satellite reception. Mike

why don't you just run the line under the bottom strip of siding? what you did is a waste of time
