I just finished doing my emblems with this stuff and have mixed feelings about it. Idk if it was due to spraying in a coldish (~50°) shop, but it did NOT work well when doing the "wet" coats. A shame they couldn’t black out the rest of the trim as I got the off-road model. Still chrome around the doors and such but I’ll be buying a can or two of this hyperdip to black out the chrome trim pieces
I see a lot of people asking about how long it will last and can you wash your car.... my experience is it WON"T come off when you wash your car... just make sure to gently run your mitt over the emblems... don't scrub hard and you'll be fine... it's only been a few months for me after application but I anticipate this is something I'll have to reapply yearly.... hope this helps

gorilla glue who?
Any chance of this coming in other colors, like dark bronze or gold?
Does this mean the hyperdip is very easy to remove later on? Or is it stable enough to stay on there?
Good question
I’m so glad you did this, I’ve been wanting to do this to my wife’s car and she also drives a white CX-5. Thank you!!
I remember one of the "tools" was a toothpick
I'm still using it.
Or a standard yellow pencil. No need to purchase the "spudger tool", really.
Very nice! Will this come off at a car wash?
What about durability? Ie..use it on "chrome" door handles?
I put some on my door handles, hoping it holds up.
I’ve used reg dip and it held up for 2 years. I’m sure this works even better
It's more durable than normal dip, a lot smoother as well.
UPDATE... two years now since I dipped my son's Honda Civics badging and aside from some slight chips it still looks great
I know he's also used a stick he picked up in his driveway but not sure on the other one lol
Flathead Screwdriver
He's used a Flathead Screwdriver and a stick 😂
hmmm... wouldnt washing the vehicle remove the hyperdip film ???
Has anyone hyperdipped the steering wheel emblem? Thinking about dling it but not sure if its even possible. Thanks
Remove the steering wheel, if possible, if not I wouldn't. Who knows how it would react to the material of your interior.
Unbelievable. Smart product. How does it tear inthe right place? How come the rest doesn't come off?
Those two things he said for trivia were Deez and Nutz
In the middle of my applications.. had to come back for refresher to make sure i’m on track
Need to change up the music, the super hero finally arrive music is getting old
Easy step by step. I'm currently working on it. I didn't realize 20 minutes in between each coat. I hope I didn't ruine it. Wish me luck when taking it off. Lol
