Much respect to you Stan you live the life most of us want to live thanks one of your fans
This is much better than watching you on TV.
Thank You for sharing your video. ATB
Amazing. I would love to live in your environment Stan. I know it would be hard but man that beauty around you. Take it easy from UK.
Stan just seems like as nice and genuine as they come…
thanks Stan and Joe.
love your videos. they're a treat.
Great footage, thanks for sharing the way you put this tool to sleep
AWESOME BLOSSOM👽🇺🇸
From Roswell, New Mexico. Love your videos.
I quit cable TV about 4 years ago. Yukon Men was on my favorites list but not enough for high cable bill. Glad to have found you here on UA-cam !!♥️
Thanks Stan. The landscape is surreal. One day I will visit.
Cheers and looking forward to seeing more.
Awesome video love the editing and scenery thanks bud for sharing awesome again 👋🏽👍🏽
I miss the traditionally smoked salmon my mother-in-law used to bring back on her annual trips to Alaska. Watching your videos has rekindled the craving. My wife Debra, spent a summer trip with her grandmother at fishcamp. I wish I could have been there.
Thumbs up and enjoyed your and Joey's video
Stan Zuray, Yukon Man, and pro UA-camr! Awesome to see that you are all doing well. Love that this channel is growing. Thank you for making these videos. Im sure all your fans appreciate it. I know i do. That Boston accent on the Tanana river...it's gold. I watch "The Town" a few times a year, just because of that accent, its so different and unique. Much love and respect from 68° North.
Hi Stan Katlyn and Joey, I am so happy with your videos. Grettings from The Nederlands
Great video Stan and Joey love all the videos Iam from Alberta Canada and I still watch Yukon Men when ever I can. Take care and stay safe.

Hi Stan, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to document and share your way of life with us all. Take care
Beautiful country!! That fish wheel is huuuge! Cool vid!
Glad to see the kids helping out. A regular family affair.
Thanks for sharing Stan... just found your channel and I am quite pleased ☺...I look forward to seeing more of your ingenuity and skills.
Stan just wondering if you would be up for doing something like bush craft breaks for a week or two. Personally I know lots of people here in Dublin who would love to spend a couple of weeks in the wilderness learning some life skills from yourself and joey. It would be a good money maker Stan.
A great New Video. IT is interessting to See how You live. Thanks for sharing. And please more of them.
Enjoyed the video as always Stan. Great video quality and production too!👍
Living the best life Stan Zuray God bless you always

Very interesting, thank you. Your ingenuity is inspiring.
Thank you for taking the time, I appreciate you.
Get it son!!!
This is so cool. Something I will never see in NJ!
nice video stan! great editing, music adds a lot to the long takes!
Thanks my daughter Katlyn for the superior editing of the video. She has a number more coming.
So I guess in late October you guys have to pull everything out of the river for winter coming on nice vid stay safe
More like late Sept and early October but yes everything come out. Ice is coming soon.
Another great video from you Andy much appreciated
You guys are lucky living a simple but meaningfull life
With so many outdoor activitys
Great to see there are places that still are rich of what Mother Nature can provide
When there are tons of other places where we just exploit the nature and destroy this beautiful earth
Wish I could move down there or to Siberia
Stan, next year you Samantha and Joey have to synchronize your cranks on the chain fall to the beat of your background music hahahaha! Congrats on another project wrapped up before the snow!
Gr8 quality video/ upload.
Love watching your videos , the show seemed to show you and Joe at odds a lot but on your videos you are a real tight family and that's good to see Joe and you work together
You got it - the show needs to play up any conflict we have and we have a few but relatively very few.
pretty cool Stan
AWESOME STAN 👽🇺🇸
Stan your a Rockstar!
Good stuff. Coming to you from New Hampshire
Over 3500 views and only a couple people complaining about the music, I enjoyed the video, thank you for entertaining us
Man those timbers must be of a really rot resistant type wood, the way you dunk them all season!
It is white spruce poles and not rot resistant. Wheels get replaced regularly. Wheel in video is 12 about and getting weak.
You and Joey are real Stars in the Germany Survival Scene! Greets and Hugs from Germany !! 💪🏻
Tell them all we wish them the best.
Thanks Sir! We're watching your series on TV right now, hope you're all fine! Do Germans also live in tanana? Greetings from 7000km away!!! 💪🏻
Good stuff my friend👌
Joe is just cool!
Came across your channel randomly, and seen that I remember you from Yukon Men, love the show.
Show is not going on at present but was fun to do and miss the cameramen also.
Keep the content coming on here, its just as good watching this! Thanks

Stan, did you get a new camera and videographer? This has to be the clearest, best quality video yet.... Love them all.... and keep 'em comin'
Daughter Katlyn did this one and it shows.
magic personality..th for sharing. palm desert, ca.
I'm guessing that, you can adjust speed of wheel, by raising and lowering axle? Love the videos and keep'm coming!
Speed is adjusted by amount of paddle boards put on or taken off wheels.
That makes sense!
Nice video.
Hi Stan from Steve in Dublin, Ireland
Awesome video and awesome music
Stan How deep is this part of the river? I see how far those baskets go. Looks to be really deep.
The channel is 40' deep at normal water level. The fish run mostly on the sides where shallower.
Ae é vida chefe....Estou vendo você aqui do Brazil
Wow you guys got the perfect life hard but perfect we've been so cool to do that should have done that years ago wasted my life in a factory
Stan what keeps the end of the log from grinding off the mandrel is it greased somehow?
Greased and rides in a yoke of UHMW plastic
@@stanzuray Oh ok sure , I got thinking after a peeled log wet is very slippery .
Thanks Stan. Does anybody know if Joey has a channel?
No he does not.
hello there what keeps the wheel afloat if it’s the logs what stops them getting water logged ? cheers
The logs float all season but are very water logged at end of 4 month season.
Supur Fantastic
Stan have you ever been caught by some bad weather and had troubles getting that fish wheel out!! I have seen the Discovery programs showing you put it in and taking it out but always at you own convenience!
Had some years where ice comes down river early and it's critical to get it out fast. Another lost the wheel to the ice and another had to drive the wheel upriver though ice coming down to get to the pull out spot. People loose wheels to the ice all the time.
Did you build that fish wheel? If you did that's amazing!! So the kings are for you and the chum for the dogs?
Yes everyone builds their own from logs and peeled poles.
Great to see joey helping you. But tell me, who’s idea was to add the music? Always the best to you and the family!!
My daughter Katlyn did the filming and editing and she's much better than I at it.
Stan Zuray she’s real good at it. She did a great job.
Hope you guys are ready for the rapidly approaching winter
Every day getting ready. Mostly concentrating on things I can only do with the ground not to frozen (leveling, digging, dog yard holes, etc. Be driving dogs soon with wheeled rig soon to get in shape for when snow comes.
👍👍👍
Hey Stan, can you and Joe do a hunting trip sometime that would be cool to see apart from the show.
Love to do it sometime this winter.
Thanks man...looking forward to it...keep up the fine work...you guys remind me of when my dad and I did things together. We spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, camping, hiking through the bush, except we didn't record it.
Power only
Hey everybody, please subscribe. Stan, Joey, and Kaitlan are the REAL DEAL. I really like, watch, and learn about this part of Alaska, Stan is a real teacher, not fake stuff here; and everything I have seen about them on the old show was great too. May be if we support their channel, and they get enough paid to cover cost, they can continue to show us more. And to Stan: thank you guys so much. I'd like to see more about your lives, the village families, ways you all make money (aside from trapping/hunting) to buy produce, bullets, snow machines, even air transportation--must be expensive). And the education/schools, what the kids learn specifically to continue in the village. And finally, the dreadful ROAD: are the outsiders respectful or can the village at all, make any no trespassing zones? Please talk to Courtney and her dad about them making videos too. I absolutely love to learn about Tanana .
👍
What are you ,using to film these latest videos?
Most are go pro 4 and 5
Wow, the audio is surprisingly good for a GoPro ... and by the way, great videos!
I started putting foam over the 3 microphone holes and greatly improved the wind noise.
Stan I noticed you used to smoke alote in your older videos when or do you still smoke? Great videos love to watch them
Thanks
Andrew
Been 25 years or more since I quit. Done a lot of drugs when younger and nicotine was the only one I ever got hooked on. Only in the last 10 years has the urge to smoke left me entirely.
I fight the fight every day brother good to here
For some reason i was expecting a catch, clean, and cook from that Salmon. Could of watched for 6 more minutes. Lol.
😀👏👏👏👏👏
Love your channel Stan 👍
I envy you people better a hard days work which gives you a purpose I live Than working your ass off to have more unusable stuff you don’t need
Like the Indians say you can only own 7 things in life or the things owns you ... a bad circle we are way to familiar with
Thanks a lot for your time an effort for doing this Stan
Cheers from Norway
I am a owned mess then as I got so much stuff for all the seasons and thing I do. Kidding
Anymore Yukon Men episodes coming ???
For now I'm afraid not. Just reruns and slight redo and some new old footage on TV and $ movie websites.
Man that's a lot of water moving by in one day. What's the average cubic feet of water per day. Take care and be safe out buddy .
Average day in mid summer runs around 300,000 cubic feet per second so times that by all the seconds in a day. It's a big river.
@@stanzuray , that is a big river.. thanks for the info. Take care
@@stanzuray , 26 billion cubic feet per day. 60x60x24x300000.. Man that's A lot of water.
Has anyone gotten a Moose yet?
Yes people are getting them as it's well into season now.
Good to hear and know the Elders and young one's will be well cared for.
Have you or Joe bing out yet?
Loving it, the music to.
your son picking the music stan?
Daughter Katlyn filmed, edited and posted the video.
Stan Zuray i have been a fan since lol,,,,,,,you are not only a blessed man but double with your family and community .....plus what you bring along also........many years to come!!!!
This is cool but do you need a permit from the Game Warden for something like this?
For commercial fishing but not for this family fishing called subsistence. Just have to be a resident of Alaska
Those things look awful ungainly when raised. Have they ever tipped over when bringing them to shore?
One of the 8 raft logs probably weighs as much as a single basket so they are anything but top heavy. They can break apart when moving them though in other ways if not careful or put together strong.
Stan Zuray ahhh, that makes sense. In the video, and other videos I've seen, that doesn't show up, or I just didn't notice. Thanks!
Sure wish you would wear a microphone on your videos. Sometimes it is so hard to hear what you are saying....really enjoyed this one!
We get better all the time but got a ways to being Discovery I know. Some videos from years back we have little choice. A computer is really the best way to view low volume videos.
Stan, I'm a big fan. Thanks for the video. Can you send us some strips? I'll pay!
Actually it's illegal to sell outside of the villages along the Yukon.
Nice video as always, but the music (noise pollution) is a bit annoying.
Thanks - always good to hear what people think . Most liked it but music is such an individual thing sometimes I guess.
Younger folks probably don't mind the music.
I'm just a middle aged fan of yours from the other side of the world
Yeah, I agree, the music is for only a few. If you need to insert something in the void, how about traditional chants/village music recorded at potlatch or other events in Tanana?
Like like
Really like yer Video's...having grown up on the fringes here I appreciate your life style....a friend moved here (Rural N/W Montana) from the Interior (Tok Junction)....and Starved out in a year...LOL...but he and his Family super people....having been off grid for 35 + of my 64 years....it does not get easier....but it do get better....KUDO's......Press ON......I would like to get History....but since I don't have a "Provider".....they will not allow.......So Yoiutube it is........
OMG, why is UA-cam recommending Yukon Bollywood to me?. Can't wait to see your video on paint drying! Wow! 🛌!
??? What you mean
@@stanzuray Slacker Generation
Alaskan fish wheels and techno pop are an odd combination, but I like it.
Old meets the new. My daughter Katlyn did the video.
It’s hard to find songs that have no copyrights to them, if you hear any good ones let me know
@@katezuray9809 are you the one that was on the TV show that help Joe move the white truck down the river on the logs also if you buy CD have receipt I don't know why you couldn't use that particular music have a good one
@@katezuray9809 and also see if you can record your people's music when they have their get-togethers and maybe use in video just asking no disrespect intended
Don't change a thing! I like it. I like your taste.
Dude you bang'n background music too? You must be tricked out with MacBook Pro, all the add ons and editing software. That remote you must be on satellite dish for your internet connection.
Daughter Katlyn filmed, edited and posted the video from raw video she took this summer at fish camp.
Stan Zuray Seems like she prefers being behind the camera, not in front of tge camera.
That music made it painful to watch
Where's the bandit at?. BARK
