Joe enjoy those moments with your dad. I used to fish and hunt in Appalachia with my father. He's gone now and all the gold in the world couldn't purchase those memories from me.
Joey is lucky to have a father like you Stan your knowledge of living in the outdoors shines through him I remember watching the show and seeing you build things from nothing to sustainable was impressive too say the least to bad they cancelled the show would like ti see how other ppl in the town are doing
Aloha Stan, Great to see you and Joey fishing together. Brings back good memories of me and my dad laying and checking nets in my youth. Now illegal to lay nets in my home waters of east Oahu, Hawaiʻi so I had to get rid of all my nets. I gave them away to a fellow Alaskan in Noorvik. All the nets my dad hung the floats and leads himself so they had sentimental value. Best wishes to you and your whole village from Kailua, Hawaiʻi.
I miss this show so much i keep watching it on demand. I hope the outside world isnt ruining tanana. Such great people!! Life just sux alittle more without this show😢
Wow, I'm glad to see someone using there brain. Joey has a life vest on,and that shows wisdom. The Yukon is a deep, fast, dangerous river. Big deep powerful river's like that make me nervous. I bet the water temp is still in 50s up there? Have a good one boys, I will say you 2 were easily my favs from Yukon men. The only 2 that I would help or have help me. Joey reminds me of me when I was his age. Hunting is the most important thing going on EVER .
I miss living vicariously through you all from Tanana. I'm glad I happened upon your channel yesterday. Now I can watch you guys for a while longer. I hope you are all fairing well. Happy New Year from Texas!

We and a number of others have been reporting good marten numbers this season. Price is suppose to be down some and that is not good news. Finally getting some 25-30 below now.
Lived 60 miles up a spawning creek for 11 years and ate the white fleshed worn out fish and canned them etc. along with it being the dogs only food. You are right nothing wrong with them.
Hey guys ! This reminds me of checking or as we called it, running our trot lines across the Ouachita ( Wash-a-tah ) river when I was a teenager !!! Thanks for bringing back a great memory !!!
King Salmon in the Yukon are not allowed to be sold and only can go to feeding people on the river. Been that way since 2007. Although there is a tiny number of exceptions.
hello stan how are you i write to you from argentina republic i always watch tv shows and i love Alaska hunting and fishing maybe it is a very hard life but it is very nice to live in the wild send my regards to your son and a lot of strength .
Awesome video, Great to see Joe doing well. Awesome video quality, like we`re in the boat with you. Has that new road disrupted Tanina much ? Thank You for sharing your video, and bringing us along. ATB
It is only connected to Tanana for about 4 months in winter when river is frozen and mostly just used by Tanana residents. It has changed some peoples habits some however as some seem to have to drive to Fairbanks a lot and do less other things now. Many less snowmobiles and more trucks owned by people.
@@stanzuray last I saw on the show, there was concern about outsiders coming in & invading on residents hunting grounds. At least it looked like there was plenty of firewood for the residents, from the tree clearing. But all good things come to an end. Love your videos Stan, Thank You for sharing your videos !
Love watching this stuff they don't show on tv. Are they going to do any more shows on tv? My favorite show are about Alaska. Would love to there some day!!

No plans to put it on TV that I know of. If it happens it'll be out of the clear blue sky and probably no warning and it may never happen also.
