When I'm in a time crunch I put the tofu pack into a bowl & run warm- hot water in it. Thaws in 10 min. To reduce water usage I keep a tea kettle of boiling water handy and add it to the bowl of water to keep it warm instead of continuously running the tap water Lovely recipe, beautiful plating. Love me some Thai inspired food 😋

Haha the black/white rainy window 😆 btw been vegan 8 years and just recently started using a tofu press and I can’t believe how much it elevates the meals! Now at all times I have a block in the press in the fridge so it’s ready to go for breakfast or dinner. Easy to just rinse off in between tofu blocks and takes like 30 seconds to pop it in the press. I don’t know why I stubbornly avoided pressing for years haha.

Just started on the vegan journey...I literally binged watched about 3 hours of these videos last night and back at it today. This channel feels like family 💕I can see my friends and family in the kitchen recreating these meals. Plus Frankie...lost my Clark last year, we were devastated...I love you take time to kiss her. It's all this! What life should be like, good people, good food, good conversation...and our four legged friends. Passing the link to my adult children. I know you’re a good man dear Frank! I never like to cook, it’s like just hurry and throw a few things together just to have something to fill your stomach. Doesn’t matter about making something actually delicious. But you! You bring passion and ease into cooking in a way I’ve never experienced and I’m 60. I love how you talk about “layers”. Love the fun of spices you bring into it. It’s creatively inspiring. I’ve just ordered my first mortar. Yay. I have the same cast iron pan set and the orange Dutch oven in your cupboard just wasting space. I’ve been waiting to magically start cooking. But now I’m determined to start with some of your recipes and look forward to cooking with you. When I become a true Sarno junkie and have actual meals under my belt and (into my tummy) I’ll sing your praises to the cooking Gods! Meanwhile, it’s just fun to watch a handsome, intelligent, generous, kind, passionate real man who loves to cook. I find that incredibly sexy.
