Hi I know Chad Sarno, I was 100% raw for 7 years. He taught me the avocado kale salad delicious I’m so glad I’m listening and thank you for helping me stay plant strong
I am so impressed with this man. I too became vegan for the animals based on a time during my life after my mother passed away. Something about the grief I was experiencing at that time ignited my motivation to give up all animals in my diet. My suffering expanded to all living things and I didn’t want to contribute to it anymore. That was almost 16 years ago. Great interview. I look forward to seeing more of his
This was fantastic and super sexy!!! I of course was listening/watching to this while cooking Plant Strong! Looking forward to more of these interviews, thank you!
Such a beautiful human. I've seen many of Derek's cooking videos and always get a kick out of them (love the way he's so JOYFUL!), but nice to get a peek into the man behind the curtain. So sorry for his great loss. I'm sure he finds comfort in knowing he's living a life that honors her memory in the most beautiful way!!!
"Love you brother!" So cool to listen to your chemistry and interaction with this old friend in PLANTSTRONG podcast interview. Amazingly honest answers to your food questions. His journey - the loss of his fiance - to the monastery from "ego driven" to "it's all about compassion " to "animals are my heroes " stop the factory farming! So COOL! Awesome food discussions about cooking. He's 100% wicked! Thank you Rip for interviewing him.
Loved this Rip, thank you so much. Derek's heart is so lovely, and what an amazing difference he is making by making Wicked vegan food mainstream in the UK. Next to conquer the US and hopefully draw many others into the plant-based world. Your work is so important Rip; thank you for continuing to do it.
As a plant-based home cook, this was one of my favorite episodes! I especially loved hearing a long-time professional chef discuss specifics and share details about how he makes various dishes. BTW I'm also a Lodge cast iron fan! Thanks for this one, Rip!
This podcast never ceases to amaze my wife and I! There are so many game changing dynamic plant strong people that you interview Rip, that I have never even heard of! Each one of them has a great piece to add to the whole food plant strong movement! Thank you again Sir for all that you do!
I love that you interviewed Derek Sarno!!! I am such a fan! It was great to get a glimpse of him in this way and really like all the cooking tips he shared. Thanks and best wishes!
Thank you Rip for this great interview. I have viewed a few of Derek's cooking videos but learned some new cooking tips here. Awesome guy, and an awesome chef!
Another awesome job! Thank you both as it has been as fun as delicious! I was also moved by the transformational journey….deeply inspired! Am a wild fusion plant lover chef and I loved seeing in him a lots that is in me! I love ❤️ all you share Rip!
Excellent! Thank you and I really wish he would dump the oil. Love his spice line sounds so delicious! It is about the animals but also the health for me! Wonderful interview and tips!
Bummer. I am tantalized by Sarno’s website, but I too hope he will offer up more recipes without oil. I’ve made profound progress in my over all health and dramatic positive changes in my cholesterol levels following Dr. Esselstyn and Dr. Greger’s guidelines which call for no oils.
@@susanwaterworth5622 Thanks! Worth experimenting with. I’ll try one of their free online recipes before purchasing one of the cookbooks. I must say, their dishes look tantalizing!
I am Plant Based to so have to omit the oil. My family all adults in there own homes not wholly plant based but will eat what I make , my Sin us 3/4 of the way there. To be totally honest I was a meat eater one day the doors opened on a cool fridge taking animal carcasses to butchers this terrible stench reached my nostrils and my stomach turned. So extra recipes always needed, also helps enormously as a pensioner in UK living on a budget but I get to eat healthy too 😎
I learned some great new cooking techniques today. Thank you! I so agree about the seasoning. I buy a very delicious seasoning by Noble Made called Organic Steak Seasoning that is actually all vegan. It is incredible. I find it occasionally at Whole Foods.
Derek can I ask do you feed Frankey animal producks if you feed him vegan I would appreciate a few ideas to feed my two dogs they are cross Staffordshire XL bullies I want the best for them Their my large girliesI am sure Frankey is your Hero ❤❤
I have studied Derek Sarnos cooking on his own UA-cam Chanel. He adds soooo much SALT and OIL too his cooking 😢👎 UNHEALTHY ☠️ Sooooo far away from the nutrition that Rips dad Dr Esselstyn predicts! Just so everyone know!
Thanks guys 🥦🧄🧅🍄

Amen to hand-washing dishes and cleaning up as you go. Soul brother.

Derek Sarno rocks. He just plain influences my cooking. Fairly new to (but not unfamiliar with) plant based. He is a go-to guy.
Love both of you guys. You’re saving lives, one plant at a time! 😊❤

You can make the Wicked recipes without oil; they are still delicious!
