I had to do a double take. I thought this was an old video. He looks and sounds amazing. Man, he reversed those years.
Phil is doing better in his 50's than he was in his 40's which is incredible. Really shows how dedicating yourself to being physically and mentally sharp can do. Along with him going sober.

Phil sounds good but the rest sounds like shit... drums are off, guitar tone sounds horrible, beat is way off... seen pantera in concert 10 times and they never sounded this bad.
@@cthulhucuttlefish7935 To be fair, Pantera was the tightest band ever. Every member was in sync with each other and never fucked up. So comparing this to Pantera is a bit unfair.

Bill Seymour yeah but still not even close Guitar-wise. Dude even plays one or two of the riffs differently and he lacks the intensity of Dime. Zack or Jon Donais could pull off Dime’s ferocity though.
I want to say Phil didn't want to further upset vinnie and out of respect didn't do many pantera songs.

Sound was so different and opposite of what was liked (East LA in the early-mid 70s). That sound is what caught my attention as a child. 26 years old now and a long list of metal shows attended later, here we are lol

hes an amazing drummer, however he hasnt got the reatest 'feel' in the world. This is more apparent with any beats that arent stereotypical beatdown, thrash or blast beats. He is one of the tightest, most powerful drummers out there though

I had the honor of seeing Pantera live in Fayetteville NC back in 1997 I believe and it was the most real heavy metal experience I have experienced to date!
