STORY BEHIND THE SONG (from Vinnie Paul): There was a guy in the front row in San Diego who was heckling Phil Anselmo (vocalist). Phil finally had enough, so he incited the crowd to jump this guy's ass and beat the sh*t out of him on the spot, so he sued us. And when his dad called our manager, his exact quote was, "You just give me five minutes alone with that Phil Anselmo guy and I'll show him who's big daddy around here." Phil's response was, "You just give me five minutes with that cat's dad and I'll whoop his ass." That's where that song came from.

Phill is still god!!
Fun Fact: This song was written about a fan at a particular show that was flipping the band off the whole time to the point Pantera had to stop the show to confront the guy. He ended up being jumped at the show by other fans which led to lawsuits, the dad of the guy reached out to Pantera's managent, and asked "just give me five minutes alone with that Phil Anselmo guy" This is how Phil responded, and the rest is history.. 🍻
interesting
Did the kids dad not know that Phil would f***ing destroy him? There's a lot of celebs who are fake tough but Phil is not one of them
And, of course, the father tried to make it a race issue
I think the band's manager also said to the guy "no, you really don't." Phil would have wrecked him.

Dime was an insane player that unfortunately wasn’t fully appreciated until his passing. Feel like Vinnie always played hard and had a groove that was open minded to give his bro pockets of air to flourish. Rex was solid as fuck and Phil sang with fervour, constant compression and pain.

Its I bury your compensation
Introverts: i need a song that describes how I feel
Pantera: you're welcome
This song is 5 minutes alone yet it’s 6 minutes long
most true musicians to be fair, most musicians are introverts
Live in a hole is way better, it's the introverts anthem
You have a good taste of music to cure your depression of supporting that club😂

They lose with Benfica & Atletico and have Luuk De Jong like striker 🤣
Raise your drinks to Dime tonight. Never forgotten
Can't get enough of this song. We need more like it now!
I play this song to my kids...JUST GIVE ME 5 MINUTES ALONE! They finally understand!
About time
Or else!! Lol 🤪
No kidding \m/
KKKKKKKKKK Like a boss
Well, that’s definitely one awesome way to do it
Dime's ability to take such a simple riff and melt your face was amazing. Even the solo isn't all that hard or technical, but it crushes. RIP bro,
Best breakdown ever
Man waren das noch geile Zeiten die 90er und die Beste Band aller Zeiten. R.I.P. Dime und Vinnie
Just remember kids... this is 1994
1994, it was a great time to be alive
Amy Warren i wish i was around for this :( i love pantera still rockin to them till this day!!!! 1 of my all time favorite metal bands since i was a little kid
Headbutt some broken glass!

scott gorham
Stolen name or is that your real name? LOL.. I agree to a point.. We all loved this shit in 94.. Slayer and Pantera Shows were like fucking prison riots. So much fun. I guess if you want to talk about from a sales point of view possibly yes, but remember thats when Grunge was taking off like a pair of Kardashian panties.
Pantera is by far the best live band I've ever seen. They absolutely kill on stage. This song and I'm Broken are my favorites.
They are in my top three. Insane show
IM BROKE
I have seen alot of bands. They were miles ahead of everyone else. It's actually crazy just how amazing they were live. I almost always listen to their live album because it's so much better than the studio albums with the same songs.

Dumps that whammy bar and the strings droop!!! 🤘😖🤘
This sound is incredible. Melodic metal, fueld by the incredible voice and extreme guitar.
