I carry an EDC pocket organizer as an excuse to carry more gear. I got one and instead of putting my existing EDC in it, put all new stuff so now my EDC has just doubled lmao.
pouches and organizers make a lot of sense in a bag even more than a pocket. I was carrying altoids cans with a small lighter, knife and flashlight, it worked but was a little bit of a pita. I liked my organizers but then i made my wallet with organizer for a mini maglight, a minisharpy and a small pen. the flashlight comes in handy a LOT and so does the sharpy.. at the zoo we wrote the kids names and phone number on their arm as well as marking drinks, xmas day the oldest gbrat used my sharpy to mark the batteries and remotes for the 2 rc cars he and his brother got, then it got used to mark leftover packages...not so sure about that whole stand up in the pocket thing but organizers do let you grab what you want from the other junk and change easily

How about a video of people like me who make their own EDC organizers? I just waiting for my leather material to arrive to finally create the final iteration after 4 design experiments.
Merry Christmas and thanks for the new video. I know you have tossed around the idea of opening up submission to pocket organizers and I would love it if you did! The organizer you use yourself, on this video for the belt, will it fit in you back pocket if you fold the belt loops? It's pretty hard to find organizer in Germany... And this one you're using is one of the organizer I can find easyli
I used to carry my Swiss army knife and my flashlight on a belt loop organizer that my friend made for me. It was a great system and I really liked it and it kept clutter out of my pockets. However I stopped wearing belts and have switched to suspenders so there's not really a suspender based system that I found to replace it LOL I don't carry a pocket organizer for two reasons. The first one is that I don't like having all the weight and bulk in one spot. I keep a flashlight and a Swiss army knife in the watch pocket on my right hand side in my jeans, pen and phone in my left front pocket, notepad in my back left pocket, wallet in my back right pocket. It spreads it all out sort of evenly so I don't have excessive bulk in any one spot. The second reason is that I feel like it just kind of adds an extra step. Like if I want to use my pocket knife instead of just taking my pocket knife out of my pocket or off a belt thing, I have to take the organizer out, and then take the knife out of the organizer and it just kind of adds extra steps and I feel like I would end up fumbling around trying to figure out what to do with all the stuff in my hands. And now that you mention it I most definitely would leave my organizer somewhere and lose all of my gear at once which would be horribly unfortunate because I'm a broke son of a b**** and can't afford to go out and purchase replacement gear.
Never really needed a knife ever and now days a smart phone does everything. Little flashlight, notebook. Credit card and a bit of cash all in the case. Job done !
Steven Harper always carry a knife minimum for self defense. It’s not everyday that you’ll get attacked but in the off chance you do, you’ll be glad you have it. It’s not a big deal if I need a flashlight and don’t have it.
At times I feel like I've got enough stuff that I'd like to carry or have with me that would be the proverbial "Bat belt", and could use such a consolidated option, in fact would probably be a blessing to find the one (or two) multipurpose item.
I understand why some people would benefit from this kind of thing, and I have thought about getting my youngest son one. but I have been carrying my same EDC set up ( with minor changes to specific gear) for over 25 years, and have really got things tuned in just how I like them. as you said, everyone has their own taste.

That's normal in most countries. But in the u.s it's almost taboo sadly
I DO NOT, trust the elastic material for pens on any of these carriers. Lost 1 pen, and never again.
I get annoyed with stuff turning sideways in my pocket too. Just found your channel and subscribed. I'm really digging it. Thank you.
I would feel like such a nerd but I wish breast pockets on shirts were a more utilizable storage space in modern fashion. I like to use it for my phone but it does look goofy.
Any recommendations for something that fits the knipex cobra xs and something else for the pocket?
why not have a clip put on it? save u from taking it in and out of your pocket....Seems like it would work fine....
To me a pocket organizer is stupid, it is putting all of your eggs into one basket making it easy for a thief to steal everything you have on you. No thanks at least a fanny pack is strapped to you to avoid this.
Not hardly....
I could see the holster one for work use. but don't see the point for pocket carry, just one more step to get my knaf out. maybe for a bag that doesn't have pockets but most do. I will say they look good all loaded out for I guess the purpose of pics?
I looked at hitch and timbers and it took like 2 minutes to find my perfect pocket organizer for how I like to carry my stuff
Why do you need a flashlight for everyday use? Or a notepad? Both of thise things on on cellphones. What do you guys do all day
Lol he said something about the fisher space pen bullet and I carry one everyday and I haven't lost it in the 1 year I've had it lol
I know you all love your EDC and I like flashlights knifes and pens but 1: I dont use them
2: I hate to carry things in my pockets! just my phone wallet and keys all my pockets are full and is so uncomfortable to put stuff in your back pockets specially when you sit down. are you gonna sit on your stuff?
Paul Rojas always carry a knife minimum for self defense
Just about ALL my edc carry pouches/wallets are Hitch & Timber.
I take my pack everywhere so when I sit down it would go in my pack not in the table.
I've been using a cocoon grid it backpack organizer for my EDC that I dont use frequently like a flashlight multitool etc it makes it really easy for me just a suggestion
Its been so hard to find a pocket organizer that fits a buck110 and a zippo
There should be some meant to stay in the pocket. i would use one to keep something vertical.
The organizer you use yourself, on this video for the belt, will it fit in you back pocket if you fold the belt loops?
It's pretty hard to find organizer in Germany... And this one you're using is one of the organizer I can find easyli
I should submit one day i think you will like the leather wallet organizer that i've made myself since the hitch and timber doesn't fit french IDs
Ok literally no joke since watching your channel I've probably spent about 1.5k In different edc setup's
Ive made my Notebook/pen holder, and wallet all become one by making my own wallet :D
They close their virtual shop down when it's full? WTF?
I keep my knife sideways in my pocket under my wallet to keep it from falling out.
I try to carry as less as possible I just can't justify adding something else in my pocket ... but I do like the belt organizer
I don't used, bat I think I should try it
Thanks for this video
Never really needed a knife ever and now days a smart phone does everything. Little flashlight, notebook. Credit card and a bit of cash all in the case. Job done !
Steven Harper always carry a knife minimum for self defense. It’s not everyday that you’ll get attacked but in the off chance you do, you’ll be glad you have it. It’s not a big deal if I need a flashlight and don’t have it.
I personally have a wallet organizer with my pen and field notes, and a belt organizer with my knife, light and bitvault
Just ordered my H & T pocket pack, just couldn't resist and couldn't stand my stuff loose in different places. Thanks Tyler
At times I feel like I've got enough stuff that I'd like to carry or have with me that would be the proverbial "Bat belt", and could use such a consolidated option, in fact would probably be a blessing to find the one (or two) multipurpose item.
These seem like such a waste of money. I just don’t see the point.
Great video, I really enjoyed watching, love that.

Who makes the blackwash Victorinox? Thanks!
imo if you carry balis and other things every day ya need ine
Cheap little leather change purse works well too.
Why carry an organizer? One reason only. I can't find a purse that matches my eyes. (Well done video!)
I understand why some people would benefit from this kind of thing, and I have thought about getting my youngest son one. but I have been carrying my same EDC set up ( with minor changes to specific gear) for over 25 years, and have really got things tuned in just how I like them. as you said, everyone has their own taste.
What is your dialed in set up?
Where do you get those leather lanyards with the beads?
Your pocket is already an organizer
Anyone know what pen or pencil on minute 2:45?
EDC man purse.
