As an electrician, I definitely pouch it! Helps keep everything in my pockets in the correct orientation when trying to squeeze through attics, under house, or under sinks. Keep the bugout, a leatherman pulse, and the Milwaukee aaa light solely because of the rubber cap to bite, a notepad and g2 to keep quicks notes, questions, and to doodle and pass time if need be.
I don’t have a EDC pouch and honestly am very new to the EDC community. Been loving it so far with seeing everyone’s EDC set up. If I had a pouch I would definitely include a Ti EDC wrench, the Ti Mini pen, the big idea design bit bar, the topo mini champ, A rovyvon A4 pro, spyderco paramilitary 2 and the tpt slide. This what I would essentially carry if I had a pouch set up of my own
I just recently started carrying a pouch and I absolutely love it! It’s great being able to carry as much as I’d like without needing a whole backpack every day but also not needing to load my pockets. Got a Maxpedition Micro and in it carry a Fischer Space Pen Bullet An NKAIED Titanium Pry Bar A Wurkkos FC11 Flashlight A Leatherman Wave And a fat sharpie. In the back two pockets I also have some stickers and first aid stuff like bandaids, a small sewing kit, and a flat roll of duck tape.
Just getting into the EDC life so no pouch but not ruling it out yet. Work in IT and open boxes daily so a TPT slide would be perfect for what I do. Keep up the good work Taylor!
I've been carrying a Maxpedition micro for a few months now. In it I keep a large pair of flat blade Tweezerman tweezers, a Leatherman Micra, stick of Burt's Bees mango lip balm, Blank Forces EDC Ink T1 Silencer with a TiSurvival brushed titanium bead, a Goal Zero Flip 12 (w/ generic 6in usb-c cable), and finally a black Olight S2R Baton 2. I plan on adding a thin plastic sleeve for a simple first aid kit as well as a Metal Comb Works mini in titanium. Appreciate your content and all you do for the EDC community! Thanks.
I carry a pouch on certain occasions. I have certain pouches for certain activities like deer hunting pouch, small game hunting pouch, waterfowl pouch, etc. Usually it contains items specific to those activies (i.e. game calls, knife, compass, etc.)
I use one at work. As a service guy in a hospital it’s nice to be able to take tools to a room discretely and slips in my pocket if I have to go to formal meetings. I carry a leatherman, bit kit. Victorinox cadet. Olight i03 and a tekton mini ratchet with torx bit set from harbor freight.
I haven’t carried a pouch, I’ve started my edc about 2 years ago and I made my own elastic weave holder. I saw a post on Reddit on made my own, it’s 3in x 3in with 1 inch elastic bands i found in hobby lobby. It holds my lighter, chapstick, mini champ, and a zebra f107 pen, sometimes I’ll carry a small iPhone cable if I’m carrying a power bank but I don’t do that often. I like my weave holder thingy as I hate when my stuff is just floating around in my pocket and I don’t have to go digging around looking weird when I want is my lighter or pen.
Used to carry a belt dump pouch when I was in High School and University. I told friends it was my Urban Survival Kit. Wallet, Swiss Army Knife, note pad, pen, bandages, tape, and a first aid pocket mask. (Lifeguard and first aid geek) The USK was replaced by a back pack in university when people started wondering what I had concealed in the pouch. Now I carry a Maxpedition organizer inside my backpack. Enjoy the channel, thanks for showing me all the other items that I can't afford to spend money on but will continue to save and dream about.
I really never carry a pouch because I don't like to be bogged down by a lot of gear I rarely use. My EDC is a Para 3 murdered out, a Loyal Stricklin johnny wallet in tobacco, Galaxy s10 plus, and my galaxy buds pro.(and sometimes a watch) simple and clean.
I carry a Maxpedition Mini, because it keeps all the stuff that was loose in my bag contained and organized. When i switch bags i can grab the whole thing and toss it in. I have a couple coins in the front pouch, a few of the keys that dont get used every day on the little clippy thing, a brass caliper, razor knife, leatherman wave, tactile turn SS pen, Markzall marker, tube with allergy meds, small pry bar, torx set, and field notes.
I’ve been carrying a pouch since I saw your maxpedition mini edc carry, I then got into EDC in general, which by the way thank you so much for introducing me into the community man! I’ve never been so much into a hobby as this! my carry changes as I switch one thing out for another but my pouch has always been a Maxpedition EDC pouch. I carry the same thing basically a flashlight, a pry bar, and a multi tool plus other small time goodies. My pouch currently has a leatherman charge+ cabela’s exclusive, my flashlight is an olight baton 3 with a backup battery, my pry bar is a vero engineering raw fulcrum, I also carry the leatherman ratchet driver with a wiha electricians double sided bits. My knife of choice is a Benchmade 945 dressed in Rogue Bladeworks Ti Nemesis scales and I also carry a Victorinox SMKW Farmer X because everything on there comes in handy especially the scissors! Since the pouch scene blew up, I have started a RE collection and have the Pete’s pirate life olive green patch, am F bomb RE patch and a bacon ribbon to raise bacon awareness everywhere because bacon rocks! Good luck to everyone else!
MANN NICE CARRY,and yeah i love this hobby so much people ask why i carry all this pocket jewelry, but like i sue these stuff everyday and i actually have a reason for everything i have
Good stuff, Taylor! I currently do NOT carry a pouch but I am considering it. When I first started in EDC, (before I knew EDC was a thing), I loved having my pockets loaded out. Nowadays, I am more of a minimalist, so having a pouch to keep the pockets open and free makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the vid!
I used to carry an edc pouch but then it got too bulky. Now my edc bag which is a Maxpedition riftcore I believe, is full of pouches to seperate things. One for first aid, one for general tools and stuff and one for power things like a power bank and cables. On a side note, I just moved with my family to SC, I think that's near you. Maybe someday I'll run into you. You have definitely changed the way I carry the things i do everyday and what I carry. Love the channel, thanks for what you do.
My EDC fits just right in my pant pockets without a pouch. I like the easy access to my SAK or flashlight without having to fiddle with zippers or Velcro. I consider my pocket to already be my EDC pouch
Don't carry a pouch on me but I do carry one in my truck. The pouch is a Maxpedition EDC Pocket Organizer, the knife inside is a Kershaw Lightyear, the flashlight is a Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA, and the pen is a Refyne EP1...all of that is in black. And then a Mighty Hanks with the pirate theme. Tried to keep the price down on the truck carry since have more EDC on me when I leave the house. This hobby can get out hand quickly!! Love the channel!
I don't carry a pouch because I'd rather have the stuff I use spread out throughout my pockets rather than having a big bulge in my pocket and always getting asked if I'm happy to see people.
I agree! I’d rather just grab the knife than grab the pouch, open the pouch, THEN grab the knife, then put it all back after I’m done. Just fewer steps
I work as a paramedic with a ambulance department. I carry lots of what I consider essential tool while at work(pocket knife , pens, marker ,calculator, flashlight and phone charger. It got tedious putting all of my equipment in all the little pockets of my cargo pants, so I just started using a pouch with most of my stuff in it and I love it. It’s so much quicker to gab all of my stuff and go.
Really cool to see what others are packing in their pouches. Thanks for the great content as always. I have a pretty basic load out in a Maxpedition pouch. Letherman, Olight flashlight, some basic first aid, and things like zip ties. Just the things that I could need during the normal workday. I also keep all of my tech stuff in a Thule pouch to segment things a bit.
I have carried a pouch in the past. I liked the security of having a lot of micro great to stay prepared (mini feminine pad, micro multi tool, pill pack made from mini Altoids can) without carrying heavy but that was mostly in my go bag or as my go bag. Since C-19 though I've been almost entirely in lock down so minimal organized carry in a pocket organizer. Current pocket organizer holds my slinger flip knife, Bic lighter, and pen.
I haven't started carrying a pouch but I've been researching them over this last month and that's why I'm watching this video. I also need to figure out what I'll be carrying every day so that I know what features I'll want in a pouch.
I carry a pouch in my truck because i drive around all day for work. I used to keep it in my pack when I was bouncing between work trucks. It’s loaded with medicine, basic first aid, heavy duty sewing kit, small tools, lighters, and a bunch of random items. Now that I’m in a dedicated truck with a bunch of tools it’s not as useful but it has saved the day so many times.
I’ve never pouch carried but have considered it. My edc keeps growing and the idea of having a pouch to store all or some of it seems like a not bad idea. If I found something not too bulky I may do it.
I work in a warehouse and I'm finishing up my degree. I usually wear cargo shorts or pants so an edc pouch is comfortable and easy for me. I carry it in the side pocket with my pen, pencil, sharpie, and prybar on the front. On the back is a pocket for my hank. On the inside I carry my comb, chapstick, USB flash drive, and a carabinier. I like this setup because its quiet and it frees up my other pockets.
I don't have a pouch yet, but my sweet mom said she would make me one since she's into sewing and my Böker Urban Trapper kept accidently opening in my pocket. Will be nice to have one specifically made for my gear and needs
I rarely ever carried anything besides my keys and phones but once I got the Gerber Dime after watching this channel I just started getting some stuff, even a flashlight. I carry a pouch at work that holds my multitool, a pen and every once in a while a pocket screwdriver with a couple bits depending on which area of the store I'm assigned to that day, and basically got just to make it easier to put the stuff back in my locker once I'm done for the day.
I do not have a pouch only because I’m not sure what all I would carry in it. But I watch videos like this to get an idea of what I like so I can get my edc pouch set up!
I do not carry a pouch because I honestly didn’t know this was a big deal until this video! Personally I like to spread my carry out throughout pockets/belt.
Been carrying a Maxpedtion Fatty for 3+ years now. Don't leave the house without it. I keep a battery bank, 2 usb cables, aux cable, spare cheap ass Bic pens and permanent markers. Work seems to chew them up quick. Plus zip ties, small first aid kit, a flashlight by A-Tactical (with spare 18650), nitrile gloves, 2 pill fobs, and a Firebird knife by Gonzo. During the winter I add in Fatwood, tinder and a lighter. The convenient mesh pocket on the side is perfect for my phone. I attach this entire kit to a nylon work belt via the molle webbing and two blade tech clips. Keeps it from flopping around, reducing fatigue, work demands a high level of physical activity. This rides on my left hip and on my right is the work pouch(carpenters maybe?) I wear this ensemble to work every night. And yes, yes I do wear 2 belts. Having the extra pouch on the right allows me to carry a thermos, safety knives, pens and permanent markers for quick access. It's a ridiculous setup that makes me wide as a house but damnit it works. I wear cargo pants only to fit the rest of my gear. I bring this setup everywhere knowing I have a little extra piece of mind.
Im not carrying one currently, but this video actually came just in time to add some fuel to my pouch buying fire! I just lost my gerber center drive past week in military activities an that kind of launched my idea for a new pouch centric carry. Should help to keep things with me and organized in one place to avoid those type of situations in the future!
Just started carrrying a small random pouch as a trial run to see if it comes in handy. Inside the pouch is a bunch of "just in case" items... a small boo boo kit with bandaids alcohol wipes and neosporin, leatherman Charge, Gerber Prybrid, streamlight protac 1l1aa, a small 5000mah powerbank with a 4 inch usb c cord, a small container of advil and some sony wired earbuds .
I just got a Maxpedition carry pouch. I am still building it out but I carry all the essential fear and back up to my pocket carry stuff. Inside I have back up knife and a sharpener, small pocket tools, a power bank, note pad, fed small write in the rain, my air pods and my edc coin. I love it but I’m still trying to get it set up just right. It’s super convenient, I just purchased a edc backpack from lbt (London bridge trading) 15L backpack to bring with me daily. I love everything about the edc geAr I just got into it a few months ago and it’s definitely a good hobby for adults to have. Love your videos bro take care!
I carry one to work. I got it when I started carrying a Leatherman Surge and needed a good way to carry its accessories and decided to add a few more things since I had the space. The pouch is a Maxpedition Micro and inside are the Leatherman bits, extender and file and since the Surge can use tshank jigsaw blades I have a metal cutting blade as well as a fast wood cutting blade. it also holds a 4" pair of vicegrips, a quarter inch bit ratchet, a Bic, a hot glue stick, a couple Band-aids, alcohol pads and a Victorinox Ranger. I would love to put more in as it could fit but as is the pouch fits snugly in one of the small cargo pockets of my work pants.
I always enjoy your videos! I ordered a “Viperade” pouch from Amazon for $19.99 it works very well and is affordable. The “Hide and Drink” brand is another great pouch on Amazon that’s priced pretty good. When I was in the service I used the “SPEC-OPS” brand pouch to put a notepad, black ink pen, red ink pen, a mechanical pencil, small flashlight, and a small multi-tool in. It fit great in my cargo pants pocket, while inspecting aircraft. Thank you for you video! It’s really neat to see the different EDC items and ideas.
Yep. Carry a Maxpedition hook and loop zipper. Small enough to not be noticed and big enough to hold essentials. I switch between bags a lot and this makes sure I can do it quick and easy. I carry a small torch, Gerber Armbar, basic first aid and repair items like pins needle and thread, zip ties, duct tape etc.
I carry pouches in my small backpack that I carry with me every time I leave the house. Pouch 1: has everything to maintenance and sharpen a knife away from home, tools, bits, oil pen, stones, strop. Pouch 2: has stainless eating utensils and straws. Pouch 3: has first aid and any other random things like lighter, flashlight, cheap elastic headlamp, charging cables, meds, chapstick etc... edit. I also have a pouch 4: with a rite in the rain notebook and pressurized matching pen. In the compartments on the pack I keep some gloves, Esee 3 fixed blade, skate tool, hand sanitizer, face mask, bubble gum and candy.
I only really carry a pouch for my work EDC. I’m a full time firefighter and I call it my MVC pouch. I keep small tools for cutting/disconnecting batteries, cutting seatbelts, a window punch, and a random multi tool.
I do edc a pouch but it lives in my backpack most of the time. I carry it because it's the perfect size and organization for its contents, a small tool kit. Love the videos and keep up the great work!
I just started carrying a pouch in my EDC bag for small items for my camera like batteries, SD cards, shutter cord, etc.. It keeps it all in one spot and makes it easy to take out and put back in.
Hi a small Maxpedition micro pouch, the Pouch contains a bic lighter, olight baton flashlight, buck 112 knife with orange handles, a write in the rain note book and fisher space pen. Lightweight and compact. I try to color match the items in the pouch depending on the season.
I carry a pouch, and have for the past three years or so. It works really well for carrying my battery pack, headphones, chargers, knife and some other miscellaneous stuff. It also worked great as a vape carry back when I still vaped.
I don’t currently carry a pouch. It is something I have always been interested in. The idea of having everything that is currently strung out between all my pockets in one place is something I really think I would enjoy.
I honestly don’t have a pouch because I’m kinda new to the whole edc thing. My dad has been a HUGE gear guy being a big hunter and pocket knife guy. I’m 16 and just started to get addicted to edc stuff this past few months. I run a spiderco Brad Southerd that my dad gave me when I turned 16. A ridge wallet, raycon e50 earbuds because music is my life, a fisher space pen from the ridge, and a pry tool from the ridge. I have many other stuff to play with but that’s what’s always in my pockets. I’ll switch things up every other day. Love this channel tho, definitely a chill layed back dude which is refreshing compared to a lot of stuff you see on the UA-cam nowadays. Stay metal bro🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I don’t carry a pouch or anything similar at the moment but they’ve been catching my eye as of late. I do bring something similar to an EDC pouch when backpacking that contains various bush essentials.
I carry a tech pouch for when I travel - Spare lightning and micro usb cables - anchor power bank - A small pad of paper - a mechanical pencil and fisher pen - A comb for my beard - Geekey Multi-tool - Olight i3E EOS Pocket Torch - Victorinox Jetsetter -
I carry the smallest Maxpedition pouch. In it, I have a Leatherman Rebar along with the bit holder and some bits. A small flashlight, a Victorinox knife sharpener, victorinox multi tool oil (very small bottle), a UV flashlight, spare AA battery, ear protection for loud noises, small pry bar, fisher space pen, small screwdriver with bits for knife maintenance on the road, small lighter and zip ties. Edit: I also carry a medical pouch. As I am a medic with the Red Cross I like to have more on me than just some band aids.
I do carry a pouch. I’m a Project Manager in the Fire Alarm sector and generally cycle parts of my journey everyday. I need certain tools specific to my trade and also to maintain my bike. So I carry a silica cycling pouch, which I use to store my EDC which includes the BIG I DESIGN Ti wrench, a silica multi tool for bike adjustments, terminal screwdriver, leather man wave +, peak light El Capitan aaa light and other items that are switched out to serve me daily. It’s definitely a handy to always have it on me in my backpack and I would be lost with out it. I do like the mighty pouch though and it’s size and layout. Hard to find however!
I start to carry a pouch about a week ago. I had an Olight Edc Bag with a Open Mini, rechargeable lamp, Victorinox Tourist, a zippo, and some band-aid and alcohol towels
Don't carry a pouch currently but have been looking to acquire one. It seems to be the hype right now and a good way to represent brand loyal patches. Thanks for the content!
I carry multiple pouches. One is a Maxpedition Fatboy, which I have turned into a med kit. A Maxpedition pocket organizer for daily meds. A random Amazon pocket organizer that holds knife care items. If you carry a blade...you need maintenance tools.
I started to carry a small pouch with pen, mechanical pencil, usb drive, pocket notebook, eraser and keys. Really handy so they are not all rattling on my pocket. Plus flashlight and pocket knife
I don't carry in a pouch really, but I do have a home-made woven elastic organizer I made from I believe one of your other videos. It it I carry: -sim tool -raw brass Fisher Space Pen -mini sharpie -thumb drive -Burts Bees lip balm -Leatherman Style PS
I have a couple of older pouches I use to organize my gear inside of larger bags/backpacks (I’ll keep knives, pens, prybars, flashlights, and more inside). I’ve recently started carrying a smaller pouch for various pocket trash (chill pils, egg coins, etc) so I don’t lose them. I’ve only recently been bit by the ranger eye bug and am starting to deck out my pouches with small pvc patches.
I don’t EDC a pouch, but I have one for extra stuff that I carry in the car or a bag. Maxpedition EDC pouch, Leatherman rebar, Rat 2-D2 (backup knife), mini big lighter, small ziploc with 3 cotton balls rolled in Vaseline for fire starting, small first aid kit I created myself, zip ties, goal zero flip, small charging cord, extra facemask (I’m always forgetting one), small superglue, safety pins, olight i3t, wiha 74985 torx driver.
I carry two maxpedition pouches. They actually both live in my car. One, the beefy holds the smaller one, and other tools and recovery gear. I have a Gerber multi tool, box cutter, twessers, cologne, rag, paricord, zip ties, small screw driver with different bits, wet ones, a rag, a pen and utinseles. Little odds and ends. On the moly webbing I have a turnicate, a carabiner, and a morakniv fixed blade i got from the blade hq black Friday deal last year. There is more I want to add but I also have an empty micro maxpedition pouches that I cary just in case I want to carry some of that stuff to my edc I already have on or just make my edc more compact and throw it in a bag. Not going to lie I got inspiration from two of your videos. One from how you car one in your truck, and the other from jrw carry you did with him a while back
I have a pouch--which I love--but I have been chasing a GBG Pouch for months now and just haven't had any luck. I love the ability to keep it all organized.
Ive been carrying a maxpedition micro pocket for about a year. My wife calls it my clutch. Things in my pouch 1. Pokka pen 2. Swiss army knife- Officier suisse 3. Cheap skywolf eye flashlight-works great 4. Apple airbuds 5. open seas gun deck wallet. 6. Pokka micro notes notebook 7. a couple of Band-Aids in the front part.
Have not gone to the pouch. I am afraid it will too big too fast if I did not filter things so just keep it simple in my pockets. Leatherman Wave on my belt, fisher space pen bullet, Maratac AAA titanium light, simple fold leather wallet, IPhone 11 and my truck key with mag nut to attach to my key bar when not carrying my key bar in my bag. Love the channel!!! Have taken in so much about EDC from your channel!! Keep up the Great Work!
Carry a small key caddy in my bag with a compact lighter, small torch, extendable pen and a titanium toothpick holder. Its more of a back up to my edc rather than an extended one. But after this video I may need to rethink. Great work again sir.
I love my maxpedition micro pocket pouch. I keep business cards, an old boker scout knife, leatherman Juice S2, sog flint, fisher space pen, streamlight stylus pro, spare house and car keys, Anker small power banks with a USB micro and C cable,, metal clipper lighter and mini rite-in-rain notepad. I typically have other things on me like a Zippo with jet lighter insert, olight iR1 2 on my Keychain, Sig 365 with 2 spare mags, benchmade 940, leatherman OTF, Casio G-shock G-100 and streamlight stinger led in a holster. I am a private investigator and armed security specialist for hire and often get employed as security for abused children and for people who are dealing with aggressive exes who are going through divorce, separation or restraining disorder process.
I have 2 pouches that are an "everyday carry" One that stays in my bag with my sbr and one in my truck console. Both have an extra mag, waterproof pen, tourniquet, tiny microfiber, gerber razer, spider co knife, and 5.11 mini flashlight. Easy and useful.
Maxpedition micro: - olight eos i5t - ferro rod - kershaw cryo - bic lighter - leatherman squirt ps4 - 5.11 tko ratchet kit pouch that stays in my edc bag...used for everything..especially the squirt and/or tko ratchet kit
I carry 4 pouches. One in my pocket inside is my primary knife, pen and an AA flashlight. My 2nd pouch which is in my bag has my multitool, swiss army knife, an 18650 flashlight, a spare 18650 and AA batteries, bit driver with bits, lighter. 3rd pouch is my vape device and spare pods. 4th is my tech kit which has my power bank, cables, USB drives, headphones etc. Have two small wallet size pouches, one for cash and loose change and the other for my ID and cards. All pouches are of different brands to make it easier for me to identify which is which.
I carry a small Badlands pouch (it is MOLLE compatable), and it transfers from bag to bag, depending on where I go (it is 5 inches x 5 inches x 6 inches, and weighs about 1.5 lbs). Inside: 20 feet of OD Green American 550 cord, Lighter, Victorinox Hiker, Tin of birch bark rubbed with white pine resin, 4 finger bandaids and 6 blister bandaids, Spyderco Native 5 Salt plain edge blade, Burts Bees Chapstick, Small tin of Vaseline, 2 feet x 2 feet of folded tin foil, Triple anti-biotic Polysporin, Small roll of lime green duct tape, Small roll of electrical tape, 2 Ziplock bags, 2 Asparin, 2 Advil, 2 elastic bands. I can't tell you how many times I've used the tweezers and Polysporin for ticks. Lifesaver.
I have just started wearing a Viperade PJ12 EDC pouch, just something cheap I found on Amazon to see if it would work for me. In it I have a Civivi NOx knife, a Pelican 1910 flashlight and a brass mini pen on the side. I didn't like belt clip on the pouch. It made it too bulky so I de-threaded the leather over it and cut the rivet with some angled cutters. So far really happy with this setup and looking into organizing entry ways to make it easier to swap out. I also got the Viperade VE5 as a truck EDC carry. Not something on me, but easy to transfer and has more gear.
I recently started carrying a Defy micro pouch which has been nice. It makes the handful of items I like to keep handy much more comfortable in my pocket. The items I like to carry are fairly simplistic... Baby Banter, safety orange Zippo, Olight Baton 3 and a random titanium toothpick.
Used to carry a ton of stuff on me, then got a Vanquest edcm huge maximizer. Keep it in the console of my car. Now I don't have all this stuff bulging in my pockets. Even though I'm usually wearing "tactical" cargo shorts, (Florida), I carry my m and p bodyguard .380 in my right front pocket which is all I carry in that pocket, it makes room for everything else at a premium. So I've got my on person carry to a minimum. The maximizer holds an amazing amount of stuff, much more than the ones shown here. Wave+, guardian 3, battery charger, medical kit with tourniquet, notepad, s2r baton, s and w tactical pen, sharpie, nail clippers, tweezers, batteries, usb cubes and cables, chapstick, masks, hand sanitizer, zip ties, a couple of road flares, lighter. On long trips I throw my Vanquest Trident 20 in my trunk which is basically a 72 hour survival backpack.
I do carry a pouch. It keeps things in the same spot inside my pocket and doesn't overload me with pocket clips. I use the Yellow Birch Outfitters PocKit Pro that I learned about through your pocket organizer video from a while back. I tried the Hitch and Timber but it didn't fit my needs at the time. I keep my Tactile Turn bolt action pen, Rite in the Rain notebook, the little tiny olight flashlight, my key holder/knife from Quite Carry, my car key fob, and some miscellaneous cards and items inside the main compartment. I even have the fob to get into the building at work in there. The bulge + pocket clips has done some interesting things to one of my pairs of work pants, seeing as I work an office job as an engineer, but besides that it hasn't been too much of an issue. There are some downsides that I could get into if someone asks, but for now it's what I like. I might try to go more minimalist with the pouch or to no pouch at all, but after getting used to it always having my car key and house key in it, it's going to be difficult to go to much of anything else.
I usually carry one in my backpack with tiny items (Maxpedition Pocket Organizer). In it I have a Gerber Dime, a Tactica M.250 , some paracord, a tiny YSMART quick release flashlight, a butane Zippo, a Fisher Cap-O-Matic an Anker Powerbank with Lightning and Type-C cables as well as some bandaids and safety pins and a microfiber cloth.
I currently don't carry a pouch, but I've thought about it more and more lately. I really enjoyed your video featuring the Vanquest Dendrite Large. I would carry a knife, Leatherman, possibly a CCW, pen and pad, diapers and wipes. Thanks Taylor.
I carry a Garage Built Gear Mighty Pouch+ and its a great way of keeping all my gear in one place. Usually carry it in my bag or truck. Only keep the essentials and some pocket trash so it doesn’t get too chunky.
I am a Lawyer, and the best and more practical option for EDC tools is the EDC pouch by maxpedition. Great products. I also have the medic pouch, and a beefy pouch for my truck.
I started carrying a pouch to have with me on my motorcycle. I like my bike to stay as sleek as possible, so I rarely use my saddle bags. I have a bag attached to my handlebars that my maxpedition micro fits inside of very well. Since I found it so useful on the bike, it ends up in my back pocket alot. My pouch contains a Gerber mp 400, Spyderco tenacious, streamlight micro stream usb, teale designs pry, Fischer click o matic, victorinox alox cadet, rite in the rain note pad, small hank, gerber utility knife, zippo
Been carrying a Maxpedition coin pouch for about 2 yrs. Externally my proximity car key and house key are attached. Internally is as follows: Spyderco Ladybug,Gerber Dime,Kershaw PT2,Olight i1T,Fisher space bullet pen and a Frozen North Hank.
I use the yellow birch pockit pro in black with the intent to consolidate my pocket edc. I keep a small anker power port iq mini wall charger with usb cord, bluetooth buds and hand sanitizer inside the main compartment. The outer slots have a brass countycomm embassy pen, civivi elementum, and a bic lighter. Works best in cargo pants but will fit in most other pockets.
I dont carry a pouch in my current edc because i walk close to 10 miles a day for work and am always trying to keep my pockets as light as possible. I would consider getting one for use when i go hiking as a good way to keep some of that extra stuff i bring along from jangling in my backpack. Thank you!
I have been using a pouch for past ~3 months or so just got a pocket organiser to try out so right now I'm carrying both a pouch and a organiser the pouch is good for things i keep in my edc bag while I can have my quick use items in my pocket
I carry a Vanquest PPM slim. I keep a mini med kit (ala Urban Prepper), photon freedom light, Rite in the rain notebook and pencil, six inch executive ruler, duct tape card, mini bic, Okeefes lip repair, Milwaukee Inkzall, modded Zebra F-701, tape measure and a tin of Altoid smalls cinnamon.
I have recently started carrying Chums wallet, but instead of cash and card it holds my EDC gear. I needed something "pocketable" rather than a bag that I have to keep up with. The Chums wallet holds my leatherman juice s2, lumintop tool aaa, and zebra telescopic pen in the outer pocket. A mini bic, daily meds, and first aid bandages and hair ties for the little ones.
I carry a chums wallet for pouch carry. It holds my pen. Rovyvon, knife, bandaids, Dixie cup, multi screwdriver, bic lighter, plus room for more! Fits well in athletic shorts and doesn’t weigh me down!
I started to carry the Maxpedition Micro with me. It has been in my pocket or in my bag for 5 months now. I wasn't a fan of carrying a pouch back then, but realized I could carry more items with me. In my pouch, I'm carrying, Lord&Field Dungaree, Leatherman Squirt PS4, Lumintop EDC01, extra AAA batteries, BIC Lighter, cables for charger, zip ties, wet wipes, bandages and an extra face mask. By the way, this is a great content and great give aways. Keep it up. Great work!
I’ve watched a few other’s but until I watched your formate I honestly didn’t see a need for an EDC pouch beyond my leather belt pouch that houses a Fenix E-12 & an older Leatherman(32yrs old) now thanks to you I have to obtain a compact pouch to carry a few other highly needed item’s thanks for the enlightenment Sir 😎🇺🇸🤙🏼
I carry a Maxpedition E.D.C Pocket Organizer. I carry it for work and school. I currently have a variety of items in my pouch. For writing I have a Ti2 design bolt action pen, a papermate mechanical pencil, extra lead and erasers for the pencil, and a sharpie. The other random items that I carry are a weathermax notepad, an infinite designs hank, and a charger with magnetic swappable ends. I am able to use my charger for any type of phone or earbuds, so I can always get a quick recharge while at school. The hank comes in handy at work and school to clean my glasses. The pen, pencil, and sharpie have their variety of uses from day to day. I use the notepad for my daily notes, reminders, and other assortments. In the larger picture this is not a showy edc, but it fits my current needs. If I was not using the pouch for school I would replace the extra erasures and lead for the pencil with a leatherman squirt. I enjoy the videos and chatting in the discord. I hope you have a wonderful day. A new day, a new carry.
My pouch goes in my EDC backpack. Currently there’s 5” channel locks, 5 inch slip joint pliers/wrench, EverRatchet clip, Olight baton pro, Klein tools screwdriver and bits, Gerber prybrid utility knife, zippo, and bandaids. Thanks for great vids.
I don't carry a pouch on my person. I carry one in my EDC system. It goes where I go. It goes in my work bag or the center console of my truck if I am just running errands. In is a charging cable, power brick, boo-boo kit, CRKT titanium spork, Fischer Space Pen, Fenix E12 flashlight, backup earbuds, pill box for pain, allergy relief, Anker power bank, Ontario Rat 2, Zip-ties, knife sharpener, Apple lightening-to-aux adapter, USB flash drive. All of this is stored in my Maxpedition pouch. It is the best for me! I have had it for 5 years and it is still like new.
I don't have a pouch like these, but I like the idea. I have a leatherman multitool belt pouch. It carries my leatherman wave plus, sliver grippers, the tiny swiss fingernail clips, gerber shard, Streamlight Microstream, Fisher space pen, and in the very bottom I keep a couple AAA batteries in plastic I melted around them. I only got to listen to the video, now I'll have to watch it to what you beautiful people have come up with. Thanks for the vids man!!
i used to carry a belt pouch, with a multi tool, pen, phone charger, battery pack, and lighter. i also had a tire gauge and valve core remover because i was a auto care technician, so they were handy to have on me. i now have moved to another job, and have stopped carrying a pouch, but thinking about doing it again
I don't use a pouch regularly, but I do have one that I keep my knife maintenance tools in (lube, driver set, etc.) so I do on occasion use that. I like having the weight spread out more evenly and reduce the risk of losing anything by not using one everyday.
I would definitely carry a pouch with me for my EDC items. May it be for my daily or something I could leave inside the car or in a go-bag. It is always handy to have your things organized, actually, that’s the “BEST” way to keep things organized. The Mighty Pouch would be a great one to start with as it is not as bulky as compared to others, plus, the goodies inside that you sir Taylor Martin would include would be super awesome. Thanks in advance. Love your channel, love your contents, keep the good stuff coming! Regards from the Philippines 👊🏼🇵🇭🇺🇸
I have carried a pouch off and on. Usually it has sak classic, INKA pen, Fenix e05, cold feel mini recon. Leatherman squirt. Sometimes I use a zippo. The pouch is a old camera pouch. About 2 1/2 inches wide by about 3 1/2 tall.
I was visiting family last week and my brother gave me a mini pouch to try out. So now I have the fun of figuring out what things to put into it, I'm leaning toward making it one part med kit, one part utility as I see this as something to pack when going on hikes, or longer dog walks.
I carry a viperade because it's easy to throw into a bag. I switch bags often for camera gear and work tools. I put a benchmade, an olight, a titanium pen, a notebook, and a lockpick set in there
I carry a pouch. It contains a benchmade mini griptilian knife, streamlight micro stream, fisher space pen, chapstick and a few sheets of small paper to jot down random notes. The pouch I use is the Arc Boulder pouch. I will be carrying it for years to come.
I do not carry a pouch because I've always felt like it is overkill, but after seeing these cool pouch carries I may change my mind. Thank you very much sir!
I have had a EDC for many years, I include multiple tools and multiple knives, i put them in my car and my jeep, plus a small kit that I carry on me,where ever I am
I carry a Peak Design Field Pouch V2 in Charcoal Gray with quite a bit of gear in it, surprisingly. Since I emphasize titanium keychain-carry (even though I dont carry it all on my keychain), I carry a WESN Microblade, Victorinox Minichamp with Meton Boss Tumbled Titanium Scales, TEC Ti Tape in a stonewashed finish, Ti Survival Exo Runt Lighter, Quietcarry Shorty G2 in a stonewashed finish, a WESN CB titanium carbiner, a Reylight Pineapple Mini Ti, Spine Titanium Wallet, a CountyComm Titanium Comb, among other things. Still looking to get a few other things to elevate my carry a bit more but so far it all works well and I love being able to carry so much gear since it's all roughly keychain-carry (couple exceptions here and there, but still relatively small). Love the channel so far and keep up the great work.
“I pouch it!” Love that line lol
Got a Maxpedition Micro and in it carry a Fischer Space Pen Bullet
An NKAIED Titanium Pry Bar
A Wurkkos FC11 Flashlight
A Leatherman Wave
And a fat sharpie.
Thanks.
Just had a shower thought. Shows about EDC are basically "Show and Tell" for adults. (And I mean that in a good way. Love watching it.
Do you still have the link to that post?
MANN NICE CARRY,and yeah i love this hobby so much people ask why i carry all this pocket jewelry, but like i sue these stuff everyday and i actually have a reason for everything i have
Just an add on, I carry 3 knives on me. A punch knife in my boot, a kurat knife on my belt and a folding knife in my 3 pouch edc
Thanks for the vid!
do u now ?
Stop wearing skinny jeans 👖 and you won’t have to worry about a pouch
Ditto! Cargo pants.
Cargo shorts...
@@wfeeley1451 cargo boxers
Im here to pick some idea on my first edc pouch for my hiking 💚
I carry a tech pouch for when I travel
- Spare lightning and micro usb cables
- anchor power bank
- A small pad of paper
- a mechanical pencil and fisher pen
- A comb for my beard
- Geekey Multi-tool
- Olight i3E EOS Pocket Torch
- Victorinox Jetsetter
-
I carry the smallest Maxpedition pouch.
It it I carry:
-sim tool
-raw brass Fisher Space Pen
-mini sharpie
-thumb drive
-Burts Bees lip balm
-Leatherman Style PS
Things in my pouch
1. Pokka pen
2. Swiss army knife- Officier suisse
3. Cheap skywolf eye flashlight-works great
4. Apple airbuds
5. open seas gun deck wallet.
6. Pokka micro notes notebook
7. a couple of Band-Aids in the front part.
Maxpedition micro:
- olight eos i5t
- ferro rod
- kershaw cryo
- bic lighter
- leatherman squirt ps4
- 5.11 tko ratchet kit
pouch that stays in my edc bag...used for everything..especially the squirt and/or tko ratchet kit
Inside:
20 feet of OD Green American 550 cord,

Tin of birch bark rubbed with white pine resin,
4 finger bandaids and 6 blister bandaids,
Spyderco Native 5 Salt plain edge blade,
Burts Bees Chapstick,
Small tin of Vaseline,

Triple anti-biotic Polysporin,
Small roll of lime green duct tape,
Small roll of electrical tape,
2 Ziplock bags,
2 Asparin,
2 Advil,
2 elastic bands.
I can't tell you how many times I've used the tweezers and Polysporin for ticks. Lifesaver.
I will also probably be adding a small stick of beeswax.
Currently not carrying a pouch, but would love to get my hands on one to organize some gear in my backpack.
