Thanks for the video, any chance you can highlight the clutch/roller removal. I've seen your videos on disassembly of both primary and secondary which are great. Seems to be a few videos out there but not specific to wildcat 1000.
I'm heading to St. Anthony dunes next week with my 2012 Cat 1000 and talked to my local cat dealer today. I'm going to do 6 greens and 2 grays for primary and clocking to C1. Thankfully talked to the owner and he was excited to hear about clutch tuning and pushed his guys to explore solutions. Weights, helix changes, color coding for weights were a bit new to them. They have and are doing turbo machines, big bore, so clutching for side by sides is natural.
Last trip to dunes I was running 5600 RPM max so looking forward to an upgrade. Your videos are great and thank you for sharing from a medium wrench turner.

Hey Adam, I've got your Stage 1 work done on my 550 H1 will I benifit much from lightening the rollers as well? From what I understand this is to give you more bottem end by staying in a lower gear longer right? How much do you recommend I lighten? I dont want to lose alot of top end either

Lighter rollers gives more bottom end rpm, but it will not effect the mph! Only changing the sheaves or tires.

If you lighten them clutch doenst engage as fast from start..Its for more rpms before clutch engage. Also less weight on rotating parts good for hp.My atv clutch engages at low rpms making starts slower..
