10 years ago I watched this video. This was my defining moment..... I bought a 2009 T-Cat brand new thanks to this Vid!! I have always been a Cat guy and I have no regrets on this Machine. It is a monster and has never ever let me down. I have yet to ride with any other quad that is as fast including other 1000 cc bikes. I still own it and will never sell it.
@wildcatkit52 in 09 models and newer you will have problems with the SLD (spike load dampener) it a clutch in the rear differential that keeps you from over torquing and shatering the differential and axel its a 900 part i just wreck mine the otherday ha, but i have no mods except 27" tires and i made it slip and once it slips ittl slip more until it wont let you move but yea i wreck it with no mods so i can immagine you wreck a few with this set up
@mountaincat1000 Mine is pinned. Any machine shop can do it as long as you tell them HOW it needs to be done. It doesn't really take that long either. I watched the machinist do mine. Before I pay $75 for all that welding I'd just do away with it all together, which I will likely be doing soon anyway. Cat needs to stop installing a SLD in any bike!

Now that is some power walking in the begining LOL

I lnow this video is pretty old but does this leave the clutch open ? We do a lot of mud and water and cant imagine a open clutch beimg good
I give you props man, Do you know if they have a kit for the arctic cat 450xc crossover
Are there any negatives from the swap? Lack of reliability or anything?
they do it to keep the differential from shatering
What is the top speed of it!? that thing is insane! they need to bring it back one day.
Would a trx450r beat this in a race
