Here are seven more examples of how AI is transforming healthcare: 1. Virtual nursing assistants: AI-powered chatbots and voice assistants are being used to help patients manage their health, track medications, and stay connected with their healthcare providers. 2. Medical imaging analysis: AI algorithms can help radiologists and other medical professionals analyze medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans more accurately and quickly. 3. Predictive analytics: AI-powered algorithms can analyze large amounts of patient data to identify patterns and predict disease risks, enabling healthcare providers to intervene earlier and prevent more serious health problems. 4. Robotic surgery: AI-powered robots are being used to assist surgeons in complex procedures, enabling greater precision and reducing the risk of complications. 5. Personalized medicine: AI algorithms can analyze a patient's genetic data and other health information to develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their individual needs. 6. Chronic disease management: AI-powered tools can help patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and heart disease monitor their symptoms, track their medications, and receive personalized support and guidance. 7. Mental health support: AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants are being used to provide mental health support and therapy to patients, helping to fill the gap in mental health services and reach more people who need help.
One system I know they are looking into for the UK is replacing the telephone 111 triage system with an AI system. These I feel will be the quickest implemented and most beneficial systems used. It will be so useful as one big issue within the NHS is patients not being clear whether they need to go to their GP, urgent treatment centre or straight to A&E
AI is revolutionizing healthcare by improving diagnosis and treatment accuracy. It's incredible how it can analyze medical images and data to identify potential issues.
Very inspiring. Two main points with respect to implementation: 1- regulation and 2- technical architecture. With respect to the latter, we’re working on a low cost, quickly implemented prototype architecture, leveraging virtually free Microsoft office products (Excel and MS Access) along with Azure AI Services to build a medical service AI environment where anyone can take their local data and use the power of AI to discover correlations and causations.
Medical classes can also use image generator to show detailed images for demonstration and such. Like a prompt on Bluewillow for example. e.g. human heart enlargement
Excellent rundown of AI examples in healthcare! Given your expertise in AI, you might find ZeroBot AI, the first verbal chatbot, of interest. It could be a unique addition to your exploration of AI in various fields. Looking forward to possibly seeing it in a future video!

Stroke save several hours? When a doctor suspects a stroke they are rushed to CT and the second I put on line (the tech) I also call the radiologist whom picks it up right away and tells the doctor the results. I would say this usually takes less than ten minutes. Even if a routine outpatient has a stroke the tech will call the radiologist if it is noticed and we tend to be pretty good about that. I guess it might save hours only if it was a routine scan and the tech missed it. But generally that seems like it is rare.
tjhis videon emphasizes that AI is changing the way healthcare professionals and patients approach medical solutions. While there are still challenges to overcome in terms of implementation and regulations, the author believes that AI represents a paradigm shift in healthcare that is just beginning. The examples provided demonstrate how AI can enhance diagnostics, improve patient outcomes, and expedite the development of new treatments. Overall, the comment highlights the profound impact of AI in revolutionizing the healthcare landscape.
The future is here!! Can see researchers trying out open source technologies out there. I'm seeing Bluewillow a lot lately. So here's to hoping there's a huge lead in medical technology!
I think the medical field can start researches on AI image generators like Bluewillow to be able to train a neural network/AI into proper diagnosis based on imaging.

The first 6 of these 7 examples are basically early detection of specific conditions and aren't all that new (some started in 2016). Yes, these can be helpful, but they are all really narrow and require a lot of data, training, integration with current practices, etc to work. The biggest example here is AlphaFold because it is making new predictions. But its utility in drug discovery is, AFAIK, still very unclear.
