Drummer was always in deep pocket, fast and complex..Bob Seinberberg was absolutely an insane strong, classic drummer..he never got the credit, but all drummers knows how good he was..what a beast behind drums they had
I was around through the 70's & while they were great, Supertramp weren't a band everyone was talking about at School/College. Its ridiculous how many good bands were about back then.
I can see you in the morning when you go to school Don't forget your books, you know you've got to learn the golden rule Your teacher tells you stop your playing, get on with your work And be like Johnnie-Too-good, don't you know he never shirks He's coming along After school is over, you're playing in the park Don't be out too late, don't let it get too dark They tell you not to hang around and learn what life's about And grow up just like them, won't you let it work it out And you're full of doubt Don't do this and don't do that What are they trying to do? (Make a good boy of you) And do they know where it's at? Don't criticize, they're old and wise Do as they tell you to Don't want the devil to Come and put out your eyes Maybe I'm mistaken expecting you to fight Or maybe I'm just crazy, I don't know wrong from right But while I'm still living, I've just got this to say It's always up to you if you want to be that Want to see that, want to see that way You're coming along Auteurs : Richard Davies / Roger Hodgson
Great song , it was basically written by Hodgson. He sells it as " Hodgson's song not Supertramp's song" , but the piano solo , the harmonica intro , some part of the lyrics were written by Davies .
I know all Supertramps’ biggest hits but this song is far superior! Sad I didn’t find it sooner. My dad played it for me on our stereo a few months ago. He kind of swore off 70s/80s music when I was younger cause he got so tired of most of it
When the opening harmonica video doesn’t match the audio….it’s an obvious fraud…. Anyone who has the Boot from the original gig will obvious deduct that it was sped up to try to match the Paris performance
They're coming along...
School is such an under rated classic, even as a deep cut. I always love hearing it.
I seen this concert at Kleinhans Music Hall (Six Rows back), where the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra plays BEST SOUND!!
I never get tired of this MASTERPIECE!!!
There will not be another band like Supertramp, neither in this decade nor in any future one.
Efectivamente!🙋🇦🇷
@@juanschwabbobb lo mejor de lo mejor.... En este siglo NO va haber nada parecido a esa banda.....
Saw them in Toronto in 78. Unfuckingbelievable.
Crime of the Century is simply a masterpiece...
This is still my favorite Supertramp song, years and years later. Wish they were still around.
One of the most incredible songs I ever heard
Hope you got the full, true meaning of it. There was a warning there! That most totally miss.

That "haunting harmonica harmony" intro......plus the rest of this classic live, loud and on my screen. Thank you heaps.

A signature drummer for a signature sounding band.
It almost make me cry.i saw there last Canadian tour like that with the umbrella.they were tight and the music was almost heavenly
Those keyboard rifts in this song are some of my favorite riffs of all time... I Love the band!
Shivers and goosebumps with that harmonica intro...
Ace! Crime of the Century was a superb album, and School was the standout track.
LOVE LOVE LOVE …THE BASS-LINE IN THIS SONG!!! MY FAV REFERENCE ALBUM…KICK ASS THEN-KICK ASS NOW!!!
Great song. One of my favourite bands in the 70s.

The brit's nailed the 70's music scene huh! wonderful introduced to these guys whilst serving in the RN bloody marvelous! "bloody well right"!

Rick Davies, Roger Hodgson - Two genius musicians backed by extraordinary talent - 'School' and 'Rudy' were THE PEAK
Some of the best keyboarding, ever!
Man, criminally under appreciated.
Very good number from the 70`s......not too much of everything....well composed and arranged.
Would have been a great show to attend. They didn’t come to the US very often

This video was actually recorded at their Paris concert, not Hammersmith as stated in the title.
Yes it was on a album paris
Thx Genius
Seems different to the Paris version though? I think it might be elsewhere, or the other night at Paris

Sadly I understood the song too late.
I am gunning for britih citizenship again, this time full brit ex-Brexit - I am tired of Tasmania devilwog and my hair texture back!!
This is the Paris Live video from 1979 with another far inferior live version dubbed over it!!! Awful!!!!!!
Meanwhile back to x factor, ffs
Tc-mb2pw.oui c'est vrai,et quand t on peut le vivre en live c'est beaucoup mieux trop cool supertramp.😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂😂
