I lost mom to cancer in 2018. Now I find myself going out of my way to take the long home Happy Mother’s Day.

This song always speaks to me. My wife and I have made 42 years together but not always easy ones. I owned a business she never seemed to want to understand. It was very successful, after a rocky start. But she never saw that. The words of being on stage and how wonderful that is, only to go home to a wife that used to be so nice and didn't understand really hit home. I saw Roger in concert a few years ago. My wife chose to stay home that night. The song means nothing to her, but has pulled me through on many occasions.

I grew up in South Jersey, when I was 17, I drove everywhere in my 68 firebird. Once I heard Supertramp I couldn't stop listening. They saved me over and over in my heart and soul with their spiritual songs. They have always been my favorite. Babaji and Even in the Quietest Moments. I must have listened to them a couple of thousand times back then. Life is a fantasy. You tried to tell me back then and I finally got it. Is it time to know....Babaji, Babaji. I'm 62 yo and I think that this album, "Breakfast in America", wasn't received as well in America. It's a BRILLIANT album but US radio stations only seemed to play this song and "The Logical Song" the most. But the ENTIRE album is one of the best!!

I was born in '67 and my brother are boomers. The music I grew up to just can't be compared to todays music. Had my only child at 38. She only heard "my music" but started listening to kpop at 12( kid, what the heck is THAT shit?) But at 14 she, by some stroke of a blessing, started listening to my playlist! Now she can't get enough of the great music from the past. She's 15 now and kpop is just a weird memory. ♥️

I met him in Barcelona, 1978. As a member of the Supertramp fan club they allowed me to enter the dressing rooms. He gave me some autographs and we shook hands. He was very kind.
Went to Breakfast in America concert on Friday the 13th 1976 and never forgot how awesome that concert was, 48 years ago. Won't see that musicianship today.

Extraordinary Mr. Hodgson. I had the honor to see him in concert in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It was a very special event because part of his crew and equipment flew to Cochabamba (another city), there was no chance to bring them back to Santa Cruz. He explained that to the audience. Anyways, the concert was fantastic!! He and part of his musicians gave us an unforgettable presentation. At the end, I had the great opportunity to meet him personally; Mr. Hodgson was leaving the Stadium and I beg him to come out of the car. As a great gentleman he is, he signed his autograph in a CD I bought few minutes ago (Rites of the Passage), then I kissed his hand and expressed him my gratitude for that beautiful concert. Now I’m living in Switzerland and hope to see him again in concert. Abrazos.

Rap and Hip Hop, there's some good stuff here and there, but I feel like it doesn't have the feels and soul that connect with me. I was in the military away from home and missing my family so much. I only had 2 weeks left and this song made me smile and made the wait bearable.😊

I grew up in South Jersey, when I was 17, I drove everywhere in my 68 firebird. Once I heard Supertramp I couldn't stop listening. They saved me over and over in my heart and soul with their spiritual songs. They have always been my favorite. Babaji and Even in the Quietest Moments. I must have listened to them a couple of thousand times back then. Life is a fantasy. You tried to tell me back then and I finally got it. Is it time to know....Babaji, Babaji. I'm 62 yo and I think that this album, "Breakfast in America", wasn't received as well in America. It's a BRILLIANT album but US radio stations only seemed to play this song and "The Logical Song" the most. But the ENTIRE album is one of the best!!
Roger is amazing. Saw him in concert all over the world and he has an amazing connection with his fan base. Writer of songs that has defined a generation.

Soooo incredibly proud of my friend Aaron McDonald on sax/keys/clarinet/vox/harmonica! Though I haven’t seen him in years, he was a London Ontario musician I always loved playing with and he always had that ‘it’ factor. Im not surprised he found the success he did. A great guy and great musician.

I was born in '67 and my brother are boomers. The music I grew up to just can't be compared to todays music.
Had my only child at 38. She only heard "my music" but started listening to kpop at 12( kid, what the heck is THAT shit?) But at 14 she, by some stroke of a blessing, started listening to my playlist! Now she can't get enough of the great music from the past. She's 15 now and kpop is just a weird memory. ♥️

Had the privilege to see Supertramp at Earls Court. Early 1980s, just before they broke up. Consummate musicians. Wonderful concert.
This tune will always hold up.Breakfast in America was a huge popular album in 79.What a great performance.
I met him in Barcelona, 1978. As a member of the Supertramp fan club they allowed me to enter the dressing rooms. He gave me some autographs and we shook hands. He was very kind.

Extraordinary Mr. Hodgson. I had the honor to see him in concert in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It was a very special event because part of his crew and equipment flew to Cochabamba (another city), there was no chance to bring them back to Santa Cruz. He explained that to the audience. Anyways, the concert was fantastic!! He and part of his musicians gave us an unforgettable presentation. At the end, I had the great opportunity to meet him personally; Mr. Hodgson was leaving the Stadium and I beg him to come out of the car. As a great gentleman he is, he signed his autograph in a CD I bought few minutes ago (Rites of the Passage), then I kissed his hand and expressed him my gratitude for that beautiful concert. Now I’m living in Switzerland and hope to see him again in concert. Abrazos.

Amen to that my man I'm saddened by this new generation of shit music IMO. Rap and Hip Hop, there's some good stuff here and there, but I feel like it doesn't have the feels and soul that connect with me. Bands like Supertramp, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Queen, Steve Miller Band, Elton John, Journey, Billy Joel etc.
Masterpieces like this will live forever… Long after the garbage that is being mass produced now is buried and forgotten.

One trip to Chicago l was downtown walked into this building and this song was blaring. A DJ had remastered it without the main vocals and it was one of the best majical pieces l had heard. Had loved the song before that but l could not believe the beauty. Heaven on Earth
