@@arbeitssklaveskanal First impressions are good, I think the key problem is the o-rings on the new injector was too small for the fitting, so I had to re-use the stock ones. But no fuel leak so far and the bike rides very well
@@ripmax333 in my homework, I've heard people use the stock PCX 150 injector, which I believe is 140cc, I think. But I chose to order from Yuminashi as you can specifically choose the cb125F on the website for a list of compatible parts
@NicksBikes I took a look at Yuminashi website and looked at the CB125F options, the first one listed is with a 6 hole then there is another with 8 holes, plus there are a bunch of other's listed below those mentioned, I think I would choose the first one (6 hole) as I would want a bit more oomph at higher revs but not upsetting too much the fuel consumption. Which model did you choose?
@@ripmax333 Well I did mention it in the video, but the 120cc 6 hole. Interestingly, the stock 90cc only has 4 holes. I had to overcome the whole "BIGGER IS BETTER" mentality when choosing an injector, as I was concerned the engine would just end up bogging with too much fuel being squirted into it. I do not have access to ECU tuning, although I really did try, but unlike most other Honda 125's, this bike does not have a Kehin ECU and I can not find any compatible tuners anywhere on the internet for whatever muck this bike's KONA ECU is. Long story short, I wouldn't put too much fuel into it without being able to reflash the ECU. Mind you, the GROM appears to be the perfect platform for this, but for some reason, the CB125F has been almost completely over looked by bike tuners around the world.
@NicksBikes ah sorry I apologize, I must skipped that part were you did mention it in the video. Since you also mentioned that the O-rings on the stock injector were thicker and seal better I might order those from yuminashi too if I'm not mistaken they have those stock ones available in the website listed under the CB125F list aswell, and yes this bike is terribly overlooked but the problem is they don't import it in the US, motorcycles like the Grom and Monkey boomed from there and they modified the shit out of them in US hence aftermarket companies saw the profit possibility and started to make big bore kits etc, on this little gem, there's nothing.
Today I tried to make this exact Mod, But Unfortunately, I had no Luck. After watching this video at least 5 times I still don't understand how you successfully installed the Yuminashi Injector. Yes, I know that you used the OEM Injector O-rings but they go In Loose, I checked the PartNumber of the OEM injectors on a Honda Parts Catalogue Comparing the Part-numbers from the European Models to the Australian Models and they are the same, I then made sure I ordered the same Injector and according to my Order its correct but it goes in loose, the OEM O-rings are too big, I think you have to change the Black Plastic flange (The one with Two Bolts) that connects the Injector to the Cylinder Head to a Proper one to actually fit this Injector. I eventually gave Up and Re-installed the OEM One Back...Damn! I had High Hopes for It.
Actually, yeah the injector does feel loose, but you know, it doesn't leak and it hasn't caused any issues. I really wasn't happy with how it felt while installing it, but I thought, worst case scenario is that it pisses fuel out of the manifold and it'll make for a hilarious "Don't Do What Nick Does" moment. But you know what? It's held up perfectly. Trust your own gut on this one, but I gave it a go and it's worked out well.
i love these videos, i'm learning so much about my cb125f and how to maintain it or fix things
Hey Nick, cant wait for the 2nd Video.....Great work, I hope nothing will DMG anything. Love your Videos, greetings from Hamburg Germany

Love the intro Nick.. 👍✅

Do you have a link of the fuel injector ? Looking forward for the results and next video.
