Great vid Nick. One of the great things about owning the CB125F is that most can do their own servicing and by following your channel one learns what to do and what not to do 😊
@@gregmarrott7228 especially the not what to do lol 😂 Sometimes I do let the intrusive thoughts win, like "let's run it without an air filter" and "who needs a throttle stop?" 😅🤦♀️
The iridium plugs have been a must for my bikes.. always found the engine response improve slightly. Some people can’t notice but I find it’s the first ride which shows it after that it’s all the same..😆
Hey Nick, What's your opinion on the rear brake on your cb125f? Are you getting much "bite" or stopping power out of it if you remove the linked brakes from the consideration? Cheers!
I had to adjust a hell of a lot of freeplay out of the rear brake when it was delivered new, because it felt like I was almost standing on tippy toes on the brake pedal before it felt like it would do anything. I think it's only real fault is being a drum brake, but I find it does the job well enough for the weight of the bike. I don't think the linked brakes are particularly invasive, so I doubt you'd get any more stopping power out of the rear and the front brake is strong enough to bring the rear wheel almost vertical. (I did this on my emergency stop on my licence test!) This bike loves a stoppie! I think you should pull pretty much all of the freeplay out of the rear brake first and go from there. I've put over 12,000 k's on mine like that and don't have an issue with it. You can stomp on the rear brake as hard as you want and the front brake moves MAYBE 20%
@@NicksBikes its better this way You can press and the frond brake at the same time and it will stop perfect with safety Every two years change the rear brake The front pad lust forever by the way
As nick sad, there might be a lot of free play at the rear drum adjustment, Mine had the same issue, the first time I applied the rear brake I was like pressing the lever all the way down with my tippy toes. I Adujsted them almost immediately and felt way better, don't try to eliminate the combined braking system, it works and helps during emergency braking.
So far so good Nick hopefully the engine light stays off now and good luck with the injector

With this tyre size
If the bike haved disk brake it will needed abs too
The drum brake does the job of abs cheap
@@thanosa2206 That's a kind way of saying it's not strong enough to lock up

Question i want to put an iridium spark in my cb125f it's 2024 model what one would I use thanks?
It's in the video description. NGK CR8EIX is the exact replacement. I was given the NGK CR9EIX which seems to still be fine
