This is one of my two favorite live performances, if you loved this you have to checkout. Live at Earls Court May 25,1975 or under (Andriu1962), In My Time Of Dying, it’s 12 minutes & 24 seconds of absolutely amazing slide guitar drumming & vocals. There’s two versions, from the same venue, but this is the best version. These guys did quite a bit of improvisation on the spot, & it made each time they played a song new to fans. They would play for 3 to 4 hours nonstop, & sold out all the time & could have sold out even more. They added a 5th night to the Earls Court concert, I’m sure could have added more. Thank you for your reaction, I’m glad you loved this performance as much as so many of us do, can’t wait for the next one.
This is one of those songs that just shows how versatile Led Zeppelin was with all types of music. And how in tune the members were with each other. Others are Boogie With Stu, When the Levi Breaks and the list goes on.
@luthierjustin1 yeah seen the complaints but never seen it. One line very close and both being blues songs is a stretch for me to say it's stolen. But if you think so, cool.
Another Knicks fan here - and I got to see Led Zeppelin reunion at MSG in 1995 with Jason Bonham on Drums instead of his dad John Bonham and it was GREAT
@@SaeedReacts. I'm so happy that you are finding the music from my generation so good! I knew it all along, but you young people needed to find it out on your own! Thank you for having an open mind! Also thank you for the reply!
It was filmed in 1973 but the film was only released in 1976 in theaters and I must have seen it at least 20 times and each time there was something I hadn't seen before wow the best show.
Zepp... Robert Plant ❤ Magníficos!! Integrantes de la gran "Trinidad Impía" o Sagrada Trilogía... Música inmortal, Leyendas!! Gracias por apreciar su grandeza 😊
Led Zeppelin is the best Rock band ever. 4 musical geniuses that comes together to make a magical 5th element called Led Zeppelin. There will never be another band this versatile, this awesome again. I’m here for your Led Zep reactions. I’ve been a fan since 1969.
In those earlier days, most of the bands considered themselves BLUES bands. And they did put out a lot of very bluesy material. Groups like The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin and The Holding Company, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and many others were primarily playing blues stuff. They later transitioned into what we now consider more modern rock.
The all play with so much passion, they loved & love what they do. Singer Robert Plant still tours, his vocals aren’t like then, but you still know it’s him.
This is one of my top Led Zeppelin songs!! I love them so much and grew up listening to them. There is a video on UA-cam that doesn't have the vids blocking it. I love Jimmy Page and he was so revolutionary at that time and such a visionary as well as Robert Plant.
One of the best live performances every (likely up there-for me anyway- with the live version of Mistreated by Rainbow from the live in Munich '77 show). Thanks for the video!
@SaeedReacts Great Reaction. You've got to react to *Dazed And Confused (LIVE at MSG 1973)* from the same concert, The FULL 30 minutes of it - not the short version that's out there. Better off watch the whole movie from this concert- *The Song remains the same* you won't be the same after watching it
And now you know why us Dinosaurs consider Led Zeppelin one of the Greatest Rock n' Roll bands EVER!!!! Because of music and performances like this!!!!
i love Led Zeppelin's Live stuff. Wish i coulda seen them but sadly i was born about 10 years too late. You should definitely check out the studio version tho.
This is most likely the best portion of Jimmy Page's whole career. His playing on this live show was blistering and amazing. He had just had a serious accident, slamming his fingers in a car door months before this, and his fingers were still healing and in pain.
Nice to know your native language is Dutch. I have some Dutch blood from my maternal grandmother. Her maiden name was Dykeman. Sounds Dutch to me! LOL!
Its is absolutely insane the ammount of charisma screaming outta of all these dudes at any given moment in this set. Im a straight man until robert plant gets on the mic.
Nice reaction. Attitude is a good way to describe LZ. I tried to buy some coffee last week but blew it and now that you are not doing that till after Christmas I'll just make a request. Sure would like to see a reaction to Kenny Chesney "You and Tequila" studio version with Grace potter.
@@helenespaulding7562 Yes live and in person and you are correct very sultry, like everything else she does. Im from Asheville and every year since early 90's Warren puts on the "Christmas Jam". 2018 Grace was here, (not her first time) and of course she did a set with Warren and they did that song. Warren is amazing, Ive been to a dozen+ of his jams. This year because of the hurricane it will be in the spring. If you are ever in the area when it happens it's always an amazing weekend.
I just checked your Zep playlist. Looks like this was your first reaction to a live performance? If so, kinda surprised you made no comment about their swag or charisma. To me, it just oozes off the screen. Maybe it’s just because I’m a fan. 😏. But I will say that your Zep playlist is waaaay too short! 😉

As a West Coaster, born and bred, that’s an unequivocal no on that one. Anyone out here would immediately think East Coast or Chicago. He sounds like he’s playing a part on Law and Order!! .
Those pops ups are a stupid thing the record company did for some odd reason. The original version that this replaced about 5 years ago didn't have that.
Yeah, Saeed, your accent is pure East Coast. I mean , you say stuff like “whatcha gonna do “. I mean, how more American English can you get? Just don’t teach English for a living: You’d soon have a bunch of young kids running around sounding like @wise guys” 😘
this video used to have great audience shots and reactions in it. I don't know why they were removed but that may have something to do with the thumbnails being inserted in the video?
I have noticed that before about the audience reactions missing and was told there was different videos either from different editing or different night they played MSG. The one I was used to was from the film Song Remains The Same which I saw many times in the theater when it came out. And that is the one that has the great audience shots of crowd reacting to it. I remember in particular a girl who looks so stoned and just mesmerized by the performance.
There are like three versions of this video because they filmed over several nights. One of them has allot of audience shots. And balloons. I prefer that one actually. But this version seems to be the one that reactors grab on to these days. Probably because gas the highest number of plays
Doesn't matter as long as there's an extra nickel to be drained by exploiting Led Zeppelin. If you want to be disingenuous to your audience then make facial movements as if you did not screen it before you decided to make a video about it. Like surprise, shock, stunned etc as many expressions as will convince the audience that you are a genuine, heartfelt member of the human race. One day maybe I will erect a statue in my memory of my greatness.
John Paul Jones , the organist who is normally the bassist , is still playing the bass using a set of pedals under the organ . Now that’s skill !!!!

Boogie is a VERY uncommon choice. Deep cut

One of the best bands of all time! Live - no auto-tune, raw, un-cut, sexy music!

Led Zeppelin at their very best, IMO. The way Plant and Page play off each other is something very special, taking nothing away from Jones and Bonham.

Absolutely agree with you that "this is the life before hearing this song and this is the life after..." it was my experience too.
Definitely made a big impact !
You could isolate any one of the band and it would still be the best music you have ever heard
Their blues influence shows in this song. I spent so many late nights as a young adult after to many cherry pops listening to this and zoning out.
I consider this their masterpiece, and have the whole concert on CD. I used to have it on VHS 😂
