- We had such an amazing time at Lockhart State Park we wanted to share our experience in case you decide to visit! Both the park & city of Lockhart has so much to offer from hiking, shopping, amazing BBQ and Texas history!
We tried Blacks BBQ & loved it! There are 4 BBQ restaurants in the area. Please let us know your preference!

@@OutsidebySide No, just a 30 mile away trip at a PA SP for a shake down. Exploring our state parks w/ in 2 hours of home.
This is one of the parks closest to where my family lives and I've visited it a few times. It's not the biggest and fanciest park out there but its super nice. Great location, great food in the area, it's a great park if you're getting into camping and the whole swing of things
