Awesome video Tony! Great tips getting the most out of your FW15.
Thank you Billy I appreciate your kind words I am just sharing my honest revue . I hope your having a good season Billy. also i know you sold your fw15 but did yours drink lots of gas as well ?
@@TonysLawnCare215 I agree, the Honda GXV390 is a gas hog. So far, we’re having a good season, thanks for asking. Hope the same for you as well.
@@BillyGoatLawnService Not for me Billy it started great grass was growing fast now it has bin 2 going on 3 weeks no rain and this week we will be in the high 90s heat wave time no lawns to cut sad it is like everything just hit a brick wall Dead stop no one's grass is growing So i am not making any cash and i kneed it bad lots of bills coming up now the heat with no rain is hurting my pocket i might have to take on a 9 to 5 now which i hate i love being my own boss. Billy hopefully thing turn around for me FAST !!! .
@@TonysLawnCare215 Not good news to hear this early in the season. We have been in your shoes many times over the first several years in business. Each year we make improvements to ride out both extended dry or wet conditions by offering other services other than just mowing. Droughts are the worse, especially when the summer heat and humidity kicks in. Anxiety levels are high with motivation levels are low. Not a good combination. I never complain about to much rain. Stay positive and push through it. At some point I want to make videos on how we handle different scenarios during 4 seasons.
@@BillyGoatLawnService Thank you my good man ! also i like that Billy a video on how to coup with the season's and how to adjust to still bring in the cash I like that cant wait to see your video my friend
I think ima grab one of these this summer, I’m burned out on push mowers and time masters/ turf masters breaking belts and pullies. I can add a bigger fuel tank easy that’s simple deal to bypass. But I gotta have a mower that’s heavy duty and over 30” but can work on damp lawns I can’t put my heavy mowers on. My special clients want their lawn cut rain or shine, obviously I don’t mow in the rain but like day after I can’t put a 860lb or 1260lb stander on without butchering the lawn. So I think ima get my next Ferris
We use a toro commercial self propelled full tank probably can cut 8 yards but we mainly use our walker or John Deere zero turns for most of our properties.
What is the name of the company or brand of the chute blocker you use on your fw15
Someday I will own one. Mark from Michigan
Mark i know the feeling i was in the same mind set as you . i said 1 day i would own a FW15 and God made a way keep that thought it will be your fuel to chase after a FW15 to you get it in your Garage and say i did it i now own a FW15. it's a Good feeling to know you made a dream of owning a FW15 come true every day i look at mine i say the same thing in my heart .
Great video i am getting my fw15 for my yard honda stop making residential mowers last year. Where did you get the side discharge gate from. I cant find it on the web
Here you are Mate grassflap.com/products/fw1550-h2l
Honda stopped making mowers but you shouldn't let that be a reason to not buy one. They're still going to support them and there are still tons of them left to be sold.
Check out my Music FW15 video ua-cam.com/users/shortsCsBBw71OoxQ
1gal an hr? that is really thirsty. Can you run this at a slightly less engine speed to try and offset the fuel?
Great ? In shot yes i can but all mowers should always run at full RPM Which is 3600 RPM if you cut back on it then your really not cutting grass you will be ripping/pulling Grass And that will give you a terrible end result on a lawn you will loose a costumer that way Thanx for the ? makes sense but in theory Dont do it never change a mowers RPM
Can you add the side grass catcher to that grass flap unit?
Great ? yes you can but if i do add one i would have to take off the grass flap door and i dont want to do all of that just to catch grass. I just side discharge
I’ve seen tons of guys using the smaller accelerator grass cage which is what I use, so that fits these machines
See the Very Rare 1989 14SB Dethatcher Add On Attachment ((Very Impressed)) Really Works Great.---> ua-cam.com/video/Pxnj3vIMXN4/v-deo.htmlsi=YIfMPWwm7JNV7tZQ
Would you say it’s good on fuel?
not very good the 10.5Hp Motor is very thirsty
Did you watch the video?
@@righand yes. He says that it’s not good on fuel about 45 times
How much gas per an hour?
about 1 Gallon a hr so @ $3.76 a Gallon so by the 6 Lawn you already went though about $22.56 worth of gas at this point you are loosing money
@@TonysLawnCare215 dang son, that's a lot actually and getting up thier with my 27hp Kohler uses an hour. My Kohler 224cv timemaster 30 can mow 5 regular house yards without refueling so yeah that's too much. Can mow about to acres on a tank, the regular small normal tank.
@@user-rp3ev5kz2o Exactly my point this thing drinks too much fuel
