Very good review. Added you Bro. Stumbled upon your video as it appeared in my home page, recommended by youtube I think because I have recently mentioned the lens in my video, just for your info.
Hey, after using the crop mode on sony fullframe how much difference you find using this lens? BTW really nice video and nice examples you have shown in the video. Keep up the good work.
Hi ☺️ thanks for the words of encouragement 🙌🏼 it means alot. As for the lens on fullframe, there's not much difference in terms of optical quality, but I think what can affect it is the AF system that you have on your body. I think these ultrawide options are good to have for A7iv users to use in the 4k60 with that super35 crop.
Sorry I've just opened the comments 🙏🏼 have you tried updating to the latest firmware for both lens and body? Another trick is to open and put back the lens on.
Thank you for stopping by, sorry for the delayed reply, been caught up with back to back shoots 🥹🙏🏼 As for filming yourself for UA-cam it's definitely a good option to have for Sony shooters. But then since the release of the 11f1.8 and 15f1.4 we're spoiled for choices. So I think it ultimately depends on the budget we want to spend on ☺️
Hi Ikhram, thanks for the question 😊 in order to use an APSC lens on our FullFrame bodies, go into super35 mode, or you can assign a custom button (C1 for me) to switch between super35 mode and fullframe. Hope it helps Ikhram! 🙏🏼
Mine just got delivered, have only done prelim tests, but it looks great. When we get out of lockdown, will be giving it a serious shakedown. Good show! Cheers.
Hi Jay, thanks for the question 😊 since it's an APSC lens, if you don't enter super35 mode on the a7iii, there'll be a physical vignette. If you are looking for an ultrawide perspective but for fullframe, maybe you can consider the AF 18mm f2.8 instead 😊
Which camera lens is a good choice for indoor Real Estate videography with Sony ZV-E10, Samyang 12mm, Tamron, 10-24mm F/3, Rokinon10mm F2.8 and Laowa 9mm please guide ?
Hi Masood, thanks for the question. I've shot interior real estate using an apsc system before, on my fujifilm xt1 + samyang 12mm f2 manual lens, i struggled in some tight spaces, so if you could get the widest possible and fastest lens would be best. In my head right now the priority would be the widest field of view. If you have no need for autofocus then the 9mm laowa would be great, but if you're looking for a lens with autofocus, I'd personally pick the Tamron 11-20mm f2.8. If budget is a constraint but still need autofocus, then the Samyang AF 12mm f2 is a great middle ground 😊🙏🏼
For this video itself I didn't color grade, used the Fuji film simulation Classic Chrome. As for the video samples I used the presets inside Premiere Pro, if not mistaken it was the eterna or fuji lumetri preset 😊 And internally i think i used PP4 🤔 So far in lowlight it works well, I used it with my A7R4A
I'm sold... Thanks for the great video samples Amirul. Cheers!
Thank you Tommy 🙌🏼🥳

URGENT!!! I bought that lens, it does not recognize the AF on my Sony a7iii. that I have to do????

Thank you for the video ! Do you think this is a good lens for filming yourself for youtube video ? I hesitate between this lens and leica 15 mm F1.7

Hi Amirul. When I attach this lens on my full frame. The screen displays lines on left and righ side. How to hide or off this lines

Hi is there any vignette when I attached on my A7 III? Thank you so much.

Nice video. Is this a full-frame lens? what is the range on a full-frame body?
Thank you 🙌🏼😊 its an apsc lens and becomes 18mm equivalent in focal length.
Samyang has the fullframe equivalent AF 18mm f2.8 FE lens for fullframe
@@AmirulNoorazmi thank you so much 🙏
If its on apsc that will be 18mm right for sony a6500?
Hi Haekal, thanks for dropping by 😊 yes, there will be a crop factor on Sony apsc and 12mm will give you an 18mm equivalent field of view
Did you color grade? If so how much editing do you do & what picture profile? How is it in Low light?
