The Beretta M9A4 Full Size vs. Beretta M9A4 Centurion - Side by Side Comparison.

Today we're looking at a pair of Beretta M9A4 pistols - the full size and the Centurion model, with the Centurion being a tiny bit smaller in terms of a shorter barrel and shorter slide, but the same grip size. Lots of people find that the Centurion is a little less muzzle heavy and potentially handles better, but this is personal preference. Both guns ship with identical accessories, have threaded barrels and are optics ready, the only difference lies in their dimensions.

I decided to go with the Full Size, I'm tall enough to CC it AIWB comfortably even with a Surefire X300 on it. and I prefer the minor increase in bullet velocity plus the longer barrel and slide helps keep the muzzle flat for follow up shots in my opinion. I also prefer the look of the longer slide curves on the front. You really cant go wrong with either one.

Why they made a variant only 0.3" shorter is the biggest question, the difference is too minuscule to have this option. Of course if you are dead set on concealed carrying this, sure get the Centurion. But for all other uses just get the full size.
