- I had the idea to build a miter saw station that would house my miter saw, most of my bench top tools and also provide plenty of storage. I sketched the basic idea and rough dimensions on a piece of paper. I also built in several dust collection ports and added drawers to the toe kick area. The basic construction is made of plywood and pine.

Nice work Moy, hey I got an idea for you to make it even better, why don't you make your blast gate so that you can pull it by the knob instead of you sticking your hand in the small hole. What do you think?
+erik zapata thanks Eric that is a good idea. I actually thought about something similar. The only thing that held me back is the 4 inch travel the blast gate needs. This means the handle would stick out and be in the way.

Hey Robert, I just used the cheap Cabinet grade 3/4 ply from Home depot
@@moyperezwoodshop1722 Thanks Moy, I was thinking of using a product at the HD. Out here they call it "Radiata". Seems a step up from regular ply but not as expensive as say Birch ply. Thanks again. HNY
Mr. Perez, this jig you made for the drawer slides, what's the height and width of the jig? I think that made placing the slides very easy.

Subscribed to your channel a while ago. Love your stuff, sad to see you're still not wearing any mask against the dust. It's dangerous man. I know someone who is currently being treated because of dust inhalation. I mean well 👍
