Way nicer miter station than most all others on UA-cam, most miter stations built with no bottom or even a back, imagine that! Yours is truly a nice and strong build. Thanks for posting.
I just bought my first house and Ive been dreaming up the miter saw station for the attached garage shop. I am incredibly impressed and inspired by this one! Excellent work.
Yes!! These are the videos I personally want from you. You finishing your already very beautiful shop. I mean, I support all of your videos, but these are definitely my favorite and your house builds as well. Great stuff!!!
I loved seeing the shop transformation. Seeing a talented woodworker using his skills to make his daily environment most appealing to the eye. I hate to see people make sub-par shop cabinets and such because "it's just a shop". What better opportunity than your own shop to learn new skills. I practice learning new joinery and assembly skills on shop stuff.
Not only entertaining, but inspiring and motivating! What you're doing is important...for us, to be able and watch and learn from a talent such as yours, is amazing.
Jessie, you are my favorite UA-cam woodworker. You always have been. But please do your lungs a favor and buy all Festool tools with a Festool vacuum. Cheers Gilbert from Ontario Canada
Once I finish my desk, my shop is the next big project to tackle. My Laguna Fusion F2 is waiting to be fully unboxed! I appreciate the trim work. As a trim/finish Carpenter I love to see the good stuff.
Samurai carpenter inspired me to build a beautiful sturdy cedar deck. All the little tips and ideas I found in the videos instilled character in simple cedar deck. A friend came over and stood on it impressed he asked "Is this built to code?" I said why yes it is. Thanks man !! Your helping more people than you know. 😄👍
Brilliant work, damn. the finishes just on the draws, etc. 'Plain old square stuff, nah! Let's round/trim/sand/smooth those suckers'. All those little touches 'makes' that make-over mate. Cheers, from Oz.
Always fun to watch when someone takes some time to make even the workshop nice and that the person actually uses both hand tools and powers tools. May I suggest using some candle wax in the grooves/dados so they hopefully slides into place with a little bit more ease.
Man I love to see all the General machinery. It's not too common to see someone with the same General machines as I have. They are great. I love the miter saw bench. its similar to mine but your space is huge and beautiful surround. I love it.
40 year carpenter here mostly framing and exterior but lots of average interior trim and some curved glue ups. Enjoyed roof framing most, built a round building with with cone roof and no internal supports, held stable by a thick 12" wide torsion ring of overlapping arc segments of 3/4 cdx plywood, 10-12 layers, can't remember late 80's. Walls 14' high built in barrel sections with 3/4" ply plates doubled up. 12 pitch roof. Diameter of building 25'. Lots of roof designs with curves or unequal pitched hips was most fun in my time in the trade. Semi-retired now. A boat is in mind for my next personal enjoyment project. Not a wood worker but admire it. As a compliment I'll say - you build very nicely but with the style of a carpenter, seeming to me after a couple of vids to be pretty relaxed and not in the realm of the super exacting cabinet builders and furniture guys I know. You're have more fun along the way. I'll keep enjoying all this and check in off and on. Great stuff. Time for a late life reorg for me and I like your style in the creation of your "giant" saw stand and cabinet. Best to you.
That was a crazy amount of overspray, a simple fan at the window pointing out will help. Remember safety first. FYI an exhaust fan on the wall will help keep the shop air cleaner than without one. The wall looks great!
Built my bench with off the shelf flat pack & worktops from my local store in UK , finished & up and running in a couple of hours plus cheaper than ply. Now just have to make fronts
Dude you should make a custom wooden cover for the overhead light over that bench. Your work is so aesthetically pleasing, it makes the utilitarian presentation of its current incarnation relatively unsightly. Plus I just want to see you work more of your magic. Subscribed.
I love it, some YT wood workers talk about why a miter saw station is useless for wood workers, and they make valid points. But this just shows that a craftsman can also still use a mitersaw.
Simple yet purpose built and it looks great! *And as a special bonus... sawdust ALL OVER the floor. I love it! It reminds me of how the world used to be. I'll be using some of your design ideas in my upcoming shop re-build. Thanks for posting!
As someone who can finish nothing, it was a very satisfying video, I watched it from start to finish without blinking my eyes. I expect you to do something for that ceiling soon. Maybe an idea for the new video?

No one does it like you samurai...your shop is an expression of you and your craftsmanship.
I love the Green & Green details.

I love the fact that even when you're making something essentially utilitarian you take the time and trouble to make it look graceful and thought out.
Definitely a top contender of the Most Badass Shop Award.
Here South Korea’ time is 5am. Your video clip has just made my early morning not boring. Thanks for having me watch your great work.
Yes!! These are the videos I personally want from you. You finishing your already very beautiful shop. I mean, I support all of your videos, but these are definitely my favorite and your house builds as well. Great stuff!!!
matthew strickland - he only puts these out so he can advertise for his other endeavors.
Such a pleasure and relaxation, just watching a pro craftsman doing his thing in time lapse.

I made a similar bench 15 years ago that fits ether a chop saw, portable table saw or radial arm saw. A must have in my business.
Love the black Makita cordless circ saw. The Rat Rod of power tools. All you need now are headers and two bugeye headlamps.
Hello, what beautiful jobs you do, friend; Thanks for sharing it with us woodworking newbies. A big hug from Argentina
That is a VAST improvement. Pleasure to watch.
Good to see Mrs Samurai put to work!
Super nice boat!! Your wood working though is exceptional. Thank you for sharing.
Bro you are an Ace... a true carpenter through and through...my compliments....Great work indeed....👍👍👍👍
Not only entertaining, but inspiring and motivating! What you're doing is important...for us, to be able and watch and learn from a talent such as yours, is amazing.
You are a master Carpenter. From now on we should refer to you as Sensei.
I really love how you have designed beautiful pieces of furniture for every inch of your studio. It looks amazing
Jessie, you are my favorite UA-cam woodworker. You always have been.
But please do your lungs a favor and buy all Festool tools with a Festool vacuum. Cheers

I remember when your shop was a disaster like mine lol. Good for you man, your living the dream

I totally like your drawer set up. Wow. Simple and classy. Your videos are awesome, thanks, I learning so much.
I like the big carcass with dividers vs a whole bunch of individual cabinet carcasses screwed together...as always your work is great!

Only one thing to say. You are good!
Wow! That is huge. A beautiful shop.
Shop is looking real good.
So satisfying to watch ... and I can't believe you got all that done in 13:57 minutes! Wow!
Gonna keep my eyes peeled in future videos to see what kind of drawer pulls you went with. As always, amazing and inspiring work!
Prettiest shop on YT! Love the fact that all the details match all over the shop and the house. Very nice!
I love that you have carried your style into your shop instead of the typical "shop furniture". Always excited to see what you add to the space.
You continue to impress... turn a workable space into a beautiful one. Wow!
Man your shop is just beautiful!!!!

Wow the shop is looking good
Congratulations: I remember since you came to this place. your size and new home, the workshop suoer cool.
Brilliant work, damn. the finishes just on the draws, etc. 'Plain old square stuff, nah! Let's round/trim/sand/smooth those suckers'. All those little touches 'makes' that make-over mate.
Cheers, from Oz.
I love your drawer appearance! I'm about to move into a new shop and was looking for a miter station for the DW 780 saw. Your design fills the bill.
Always fun to watch when someone takes some time to make even the workshop nice and that the person actually uses both hand tools and powers tools. May I suggest using some candle wax in the grooves/dados so they hopefully slides into place with a little bit more ease.
Lovely job , now for the ceiling 😊
Damn.... I’m completely new to wood workings but watching this video I was in awe.... and a little scared now. Haha. Thanks for the great video.
So beautiful, just so beautiful
The Samurai didn't disappoint!
was thinking of hanging drywall, but might have to go with this plywood option in my garage. it looks beautiful.
Man I love to see all the General machinery. It's not too common to see someone with the same General machines as I have. They are great. I love the miter saw bench. its similar to mine but your space is huge and beautiful surround. I love it.
How I would love to do what you do every day!!!

It’s too nice for the mitre saw . Great job!
That was a crazy amount of overspray, a simple fan at the window pointing out will help. Remember safety first. FYI an exhaust fan on the wall will help keep the shop air cleaner than without one. The wall looks great!

Beautiful work. Again.
