I took care of a 56yr old man with this disease. I couldn’t believe it when I went to meet him initially before I agreed to be his caregiver. It got bad. Fast. He died 3 yrs later. So It’s possible. It was heartbreaking to see him like that. He was a brilliant man before. He was an engineer. Before he could no longer hold conversations he told me he’d rather d*e than became a burden on his family. Probably why I was hired in the first place. Our time together was nice though.
Six to seven hours sleep is equivalently dangerous because you will lower the chances of your t cells from protecting yourself from diseases & illnesses, I recommend the book called "Why we sleep by Matthew Walker" to fully understand the book.

It is very rare but it does happen. About 10 in 100,000 develop early onset Alzheimer's Disease before age 65.
