@YAKUZA I mean don't get me wrong, their recent albums aren't terrible, but when you compare them to their old records, you realize they're in an entirely different genre each album. That's The Spirit is the most severe change that can't even be compared. It is its own different genre. I'll always love the first three albums, classics that the new fans can never truly appreciate like we do.

The last album came out in 2021 called Post Human : Survival Horror....it's a mix bag of alternative rock to metalcore and nu metal...ffs they hooked up with the legendary Mick Gordon for the production. It's anything but 'pop'.

I can’t believe how long it’s actually been since I first heard this album when it originally dropped WAAAAAAAY back in the MySpace era of social media.
I remember being just utterly blown away at how hardcore it was. BMTH made literally the most brutal music I had ever heard; and to be honest it’s kind of hard to think if another band had ever surpassed them, let alone reached, that level of brutality. Then BMTH went soft and I’ve heard one song and it was an instant “nope” and never looked back.

Then you've missed an entire paradigm shift worth of music 🙂. Today the whole industry acknowledges BMTH as a band that has influenced heavy music with every single album. And their last album was for fans like me who believed they would bring back some of the heavy and know there's more to come🔥

I love everything they've released honestly. I do feel like certain new songs lack the same drive and passion they once had, but really shit like Avalanche and Hospital for Souls still can reignite what I felt when listening to Blessed With A Curse and Suicide Season. BMTH rocks!

In high school 2015 this was my favorite song, and I'd blast it so loud people could hear my ear buds. Some people literally said they'd know if I was nearby if they could hear blast beats 😂😂 this album holds special place in my heart, I'm 25 now and a decade later I still come back.

I Started from Liking Asking Alexandria a Lot, to hating their newer crappy, whiny lyrical structure. They have got more attention from kids who think they're the shit, than they actually deserve. I Honestly Wish Bmth Would return to Metalcore, (Not deathcore. They weren't all that great at it as compared to other well established Deathcore bands Imho) For example, I Don't like Pray for Plaques by them, but I Love Machines by Born od Osiris and so on. but still experiment with other Rock genres from album to album if they like doing that.They Refined the Metalcore genre a Lot especially in 'Sempiternal' with their own unique Flair. And By 'Change', I'm pretty sure xScars meant a change in their sound or Subgenre, not lyrical content and how that sounds as long as it's the same type of music they play. AA Still sound pretty much the same as they did back then with Danny Worsnop, only the lyrical content is much more Juvenile and absurd. And I Wish Bmth Would drop it with their current cheezy love songs, but I'm still cool with it even if they do go on this path. It's Still Bmth playing.
