I’ve cooked the braised cabbage recipe twice now as a side dish to roast beef Christmas dinner. Loved by ME and family here. Now my daughter (in another state) is making it for HER family and friends for her holiday table this year. Thank you Jamie.
I never thought when you came into my high school ten years ago and took my french fries off my school menu I’d stick around. And here I am about to try some of these recipes on a whim because I have really gotten into making dinner fun. Thanks for all the ideas!
I love watching mishmash of shows like this and see the kids' growth. thanks Jamie for posting. May you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, stay safe and healthy
Thanks for all the great recipes, every Christmas I choose your recipes because you make them so wonderfully easy and yummy. Happy Christmas to you Jamie and your beautiful family may God bless you all 🌠🥮🥂🎄🤗
I use carrots in almost all my dishes. They give colour and sweetness. Lately i use them in my bake potatoes. Also, i love capage. In Greece we used it mostly in salads, but i will try your version, my dear Oliver. Merry Christmas and a happy new Year to all of you! Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷❤️
Carrot top pesto!!! A big bunch of carrot tops, a can of cannellini beans, 1 lemon (if it's organic, don't bother to peel) a bit of garlic to taste, in the food processor, and voilà! Use on fresh baked bread, crackers, in soups, on pasta, thinned with water for salad dressing... plant-based, no oil (sorry Jamie!) good for your health!
Hi there , Jaimie ,I cook most vegetables in a parcel Depending on which recipe I use .Thank you for sharing your recipes throughout the pandemic.Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas 🎄⛄
Jamie, thank you! As usual your recipes are very unexpected, but whatever I tried they are AMAZING. Will try this too. I can bet it is something that I will cook more then once.
Jamie! You made theese carrots on TV.... like 15 years ago so I tried making them and wow!!! I still think they are the best!!!! The absolute best carrots one can eat!!! And I hate warm/coocked carrots 😎😅👍👌
Red cabbage with bacon is a traditional side in Poland in Silesia region, it may be prepared different depend of what recipe you have but basic ingredients as you used are almost the same.
I don't even know what brussels sprouts are but I've been led to believe by western sitcoms and movies that it's the most terrible food one can possibly eat.

Is it can be maked without using of the foil ?!
Wouldnt baking bag suffice for carrots?
I still write letters and notes! Happy mail!
I did just this for Xmas minus the stovetop! Damn, I missed the finale. I am no Chef.😑
I want to marry this man!!!
You can feed the carrot leaves to an alpaca
😍😍
💜💛🧡
Where are the recipes for this video?
Hi jamie
I think a thin drizzle of honey might take this up TO AN EVEN HIGHER level
I'm afraid Jamie is a little confused with his temperatures. 200 C is not 450F. It's 392F.
These days parchment is healthier than aluminium. But the recipe yummy as is all of his.
💜👍
Poor bud, ofcourse his eyes hurt when he has onions being chopped less than a foot from his eyes!
Love cabbage, but as a vegan I’ll skip the bacon and butter
what about smoked flavoured plant based bits? make them ir buy them. they add so much flavour
I'm gonna tear in my knob.
Nice madam
💕💕🥂
I don't even know what brussels sprouts are but I've been led to believe by western sitcoms and movies that it's the most terrible food one can possibly eat.
They are just tiny little cabbages
You’ve been lied to for years. 😂. They are actually really yummy!
Amazingly a lot folk only eat them once a year
They are horrible 😂😂
@Rebeldewayraluka if improperly cooked.
What makes me laugh is wear ever you go shopping you don’t see the different coloured veg it’s always the same old
Looks great but cooking in aluminum foil is not healthy, at all.
Aluminium=☠️☠️☠️☠️
oh vegetable! i love Jamie Oliver you are nice looking boy. and your tenderness i love.
Hi
what about some slightly non conventional veggies?? come on Jamie open up those British minds...
Fennel is the worst thing in the world
Those sprouts are ace though
