Wow, this video beautifully captures the breathtaking nature of America! It's truly disheartening to see how many people have misconceptions about the United States. While every country has its share of challenges, it's important to remember that the USA is home to incredible landscapes, from the majestic Grand Canyon to the stunning coastlines of California. Let's spread awareness about the diverse beauty of America and encourage others to see beyond the stereotypes. 🌍🇺🇸
Born and raised in Hood River! This video only scratches the surface but im still proud to show it to friends who have no idea of the scenery and beauty of this area. I would like to see a tourism video of the Hood River Rail and the greater Mt Hood area that encompasses the true essence of it's majestic beauty. Still "5" Stars for a 2 minute video.
When I was in my 20s, I spent two seasons picking pears in the Hood River Valley. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is not well known because it is a long distance from the places that most Americans go... California, Colorado, Florida, etc. It is well worth the trip.
This is a normal town actually its the most beautiful place in the world. I have lived here for my entire life and it's seriously breath taking. I have experienced the world but seriously nothing is like home. Although the places this gentleman mentioned are great. There's a whole lot more and better places. If you are interested in visiting you have to go to Mount Hood Parkdale located in Hood River County Home of some of the best Hood River has to offer take hwy 35 south through the Heart of Hood River County and I promise you will see the most beautiful sights of Mount Hood and follow the signs to parkdale or you can take the Mount hood rail road ride from Hood River up the mountain it's final stop is parkdale and I am seriously not joking parkdale is beautiful
I spent most of my childhood with windsurfers around Hood River and it is my dream town to live in, but my career has zero jobs in that area and it can't be done remote :(
All jobs are gotten through nepotism, here and The Dalles. The house prices are ridiculous and the scenery get old after awhile. No jobs in most careers.
I have lived in Hood River for 6 years. Cost of living is outrageous. And most of the homes sit empty most the year with not a lot of affordable housing options, especially single family homes.
I live in Odell, and unfortunately the lavender farm is no more. Another victim of the pandemic, presumably, but the area is still very worth visiting.
careful kayaking on 'da Hood River! Those waves towards town easily are 6 ft high/higher; Ocean going tugs pulling coal barges, etc. (they were a daily occurrence when I was there years go) are nothing to mess with on any kayak, LOL No doubt the environmento wackos have shut down lots of fun stuff to do (including electric generating plants) while they drive thar Tesla! LOL
Hood River is without a doubt the coolest town in the world! The people could not be the coolest and more awesome people in the world. it's very rich the schools are the best the people are the greatest people in the world seriously. I love me Hood River!
They're great photos though, some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. And, this is a well-put together video. No vocalized pauses, no repetition of the same word, no "you know?", and the scenery matched what was being conveyed verbally. Too bad you didn't enjoy as much as I did.
Honestly, it depends. There is a large ag base that tends to lean more right, but I would say the general atmosphere is pretty liberal. There are almost as many MJ dispensaries as there are churches lol.

Aren't the people the coolest and most awesome? I can't get over how cool they are.
According to a recent study, it ranks #7th most expensive town to live in the entire country. If you can afford it, live there.
The Gorge and Hood River are fantastic. Been there a few times, headed back in October. Can’t wait!
I was there last week. It is so beautiful.
The lonely mountain, Hood. With such a beautiful small town below
Such a special part of the country! Thanks for tuning in!
I am fortunate to have both spent my childhood in the Hood River Valley and be raising my kids here. Life is good. Great video!

Yeah that sounds like 80% of non major urban areas; gotta know someone or got a cousin or uncle or something.

Miss home so much
For a video about a charming small town he didn’t mention anything about the town. 🤔
Yea...this guy is bone head.
Cost of living?
Highhhh asss fuccckk
Prohibitively expensive
Depending but the lowest price I have seen is 500 per month but you have to be on the hunt cause it gets real spendy

This is my hometown...4th generation residents. Please stay away Californians!
Is this a normal town, or a Trump town?
Not sure. Thanks for tuning in!
Nothing like a perfect example of toxic tribalism to cause division! Great job, Gary.
Its in Oregon. Take from that what you will.
Haha was wondering the same thing
