Calling George “Fentanyl” Floyd a “martyr” is like calling Hitler a “philanthropist”. Astoundingly stupid!
A couple questions that should be asked are if George Floyd died in a Democrat City, under Democrat laws, how can they blame the Right for it? They had literally nothing to do with it? And why did BLM/Antifa attack the Black/Brown communities as if the did it?

A few inconsistencies with George Floyd have happened. For instance, bet youve never heard the named Tony Tampa or Justine Damond. Tony Tampa was killed in much the same way as George. Except he was mentally ill, committed no crime and the police actively LAUGHED on camera as they killed him. Mocking him and watching him soil himself. Oh, and he was white so no one cared. Police sat on his neck and he died that way. They still laughed. They saw no punishment. Justine Damond was a white woman who called the cops for help and was shot by a black officer. She did nothing wrong, the officer was not punished and blm defended the cops actions of police brutality.

There was literally NOTHING true or historic about the Woman King movie other than the name of 4 or 5 characters and the the name of the tribe and Kingdom. Here's what this whatshername doesn't get: The reason that statue should be where it was erected is to invoke the difficult questions, talk about it and learn from the past. Keep the statue there as a reminder that mistakes were made. Inspiring to do better than they did in that guy's time.

BLM could’ve been a great organization and really helped make positive changes to help improve black culture. From a CS alumni to another Engineering/Science student/alumni, you really need to look into history, art, and a touch of philosophy. You'd be surprised at how something from another discipline creeps in and makes a breakthrough. The issues we have over here are different to America, we also have a lot of mixed race couples from all over World & these days most don’t think anything of it, where as other parts of the World this can still be very taboo or frowned upon. If anything the BLM movement to a degree upset the cohesiveness that already existed between different people not improve it. I am proud to be British because I feel we are very tolerant at the heart of it & feel we have been unfairly over vilified compared to other places that may have caused worse atrocities. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what greed, every colour has been used in a form of slavery.
Unfortunately there are those Today that will go out of their way to make a Martyr (if it suits their agenda) of an individual even if that person is not a very savoury character & done atrocious things.
It seems detrimental to erase aspects of history (just because we don’t like it) as its stops future generations learning from the mistakes of their predecessors. Like my Teacher once said to me, history has a tendency of repeating itself & he is so right about this.
