I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio. My first thought was that Robert Plant went back to heavy rock. Then, the DJ said it was Bonham, and I thought it was cool of RP to sing for his late drummer's son's band. Then, I saw this video, and my head exploded...

Brittney Johnson they broke in far too late. By 89 changes were well under way. Heavy Metal/Glam Metal/Hard Rock were all falling out of popular favor and the groundwork was being set for a decade of bands trying to take fun out of life, virtuosity, and rock and roll.
@Greg Hubbard I refer you to the copywright (C) at the top of the page which clearly states it was 1989... I can also I assure I was playing this song on guitar long before 1991...
So, expert musical director, what happened then? This band was never going to make it big. They are faceless, they offer nothing new with their recycled "music." The lead singer is a total rip off of Robert Plant and the drummer should learn how to play. He's a timekeeper NOT the "star of the show." Apparently, he learned nothing from his incredible and well-respected father! Basically, this is bland and boring music with high school childish lyrics: "All that I can do is wait for you, just wait for you. All that I can do is wait for you, just wait for you." ZZZzzz...
Grunge killed this band, Damn Yankees, Bad English, etc. And I loved the fab 4 of Seattle back in the day (not so much Grunge lite that followed), but what would you say aged better Grunge or music like this?

I don't care what anybody says, we had the best Music back then. OMG It was electric in your mind and body! Just Perfect! Man they worked hard for that sound! And then with a girl, Oh Man it was magic!
The rock from the late 60's,70's & early 80's stands the test of time 40-50 years later ( Zep, Sabbath, Purple, Hendrix, Cream, Aerosmith, Rush, Stones, Ac/ DC, Priest, Van Halen etc..etc..etc Will the crap of today still be played 50 years later? I think not. Best time to have grown up..musically!
I was introduced to Daniel ( RIP) at a Hamilton bar called the Jockey Club / Dorseys ( RIP also no longer there) by his girlfriend at the time Cherie Howden (RIP) Dan was still in Scorcher at the time. Daniel Mac master had a voice that was undeniably incredible. I still miss him.
I was 19 when this came out. Just came across this on UA-cam. Haven't heard it in over 20 yrs. Great song. They definitely have a Zeppelin vibe. I love this music. Eighties rock is the best.
80's music made more sense than the current, or past 20 years, crap they slap on albums. Even the videos made more sense.
No doubt. 80s metal forever!
Sounds more like Robert Plant solo days.
I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio. My first thought was that Robert Plant went back to heavy rock. Then, the DJ said it was Bonham, and I thought it was cool of RP to sing for his late drummer's son's band. Then, I saw this video, and my head exploded...
I am 53 years old and the 80's are some of the best memories of my life ...
The tight af black leather pants and of course the long hair of the guys in the hair bands .....
Oh be still my ❤️💓💓💓💓!!!!
When his dad passed away, my work gave me a paid week off for bereavement leave. Imagine ?? They did the same thing when I had to put my dog down. Jason has done his dad proud !!!!!
similar weird tempos, similar voice, similar chorus, similar melody, truly feels like zeppelin made in the 80´s, stuff of dreams indeed.
I am here, one of the most awesome love songs ever! They were great. So very sorry of the lead singers passing.r.i.p..
I know he's a bohnam the drumming in this tune never stops
Obviously, the apple (Jason) didn't fall far from the tree (Dad John) as far as talent is concerned. Jason wears the Bonham name well!
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you SIRIUS XM Hair Nation!!!
Mother of Dragons Yes! Just heard this in the middle of the night driving back home from Panama City! Fantastic song!
Mother of Dragons, YES!! :)
Im dying! All this time i thought it was robert plant...until tonite. My sirius xm proved me wrong. R.I.P. Daniel MacMaster.
They still playing it in Hair Nation 😎
thats why im here!!!
I've been die hard fan of of your Dad for over 40 something years , thought my son at 5 years old bought him 5 pice swing star Tama . Appreciate you.
Jason Bonham is a great drummer !! He has his own sound
Yeah 80's music was classic that will never repeated. Senior 87'. best music was 84 and up to about 93! I say all the best music has already been made.
Fucking right
First time I heard this on the radio I thought it was a previously unreleased Zeppelin tune, that guy sounds a lot like Plant.
Super Kyle I think that's what they were shooting for at the time... It definitely worked.. 👍🎸🤘
Super Kyle
Super Kyle the guy is Daniel MacMaster. Love this voice!
well it is Jason Bonham on drums so it make sense he'd probably wanna play music like his dad John Bonham from Zeppelin. only they were in the 80's glam rock scene. Great song though
At the time Bonham admitted that was exactly what he was trying to do.
Jason, you are a great drummer!
The 80's were without a doubt the best decade for music. The music now days is garbage and can never hold a candle to anything putout in the 80's. The 80's will live forever with me. rock on!!!!!!
Saw Jason Bonham twice this summer with Sammy Hagar and JBLZE. He's still killing it!
Dudes good.
the lead singer of this awesome group was and still is one of a kind. I still miss Daniel. What a voice and a ultra hottie. May the angels continue to be with him.
Rebel12 Wynn he sounds like Robert Plant of Bonham ‘s father’ s band Led Zeppelin
Amazing Canadian Singer
@@illostr8 I remember when I first heard this band..and yeah, he most definitely had the Robert Plant..chops! I loved this group from day 1 of hearing their first album! 💞🎸💜🎶..
Still kicks ass at almost 30 years !!
Man time flies by !!!
Underrated song. This band had potential!
Why
@@seancowhie6951Simple... the system only favors those who submit to the Illuminati
I wish bands of today sounded like this I was 9 when this came out and I remember getting chills listening to it on the stereo
If you listen closely you hear Led Zeppelin
Good record, but Mad Hatter was way better.
Every song on that record is awesome.
angel wings how long ago was this video made ?????
Actually it would be from Led Zeppelin Presents or Coda
At66 ,I still get Goosebumps at the Guitar solo .
Love it. Always have. Couldn't get the radio stations to play it enough. This song should have been bigger!
It's 2023, and I've been listening to this song since 1989.
This band were amazing Disregard for Timekeeping is one of my all time favourites ❤❤❤❤❤
This song will get me out of a bad mood every time!! Just love this song! :o)
Me too.
Tim Byrd Agreed
I'm glad i just read your comment. I think it just turned my night around....: )
Bonham is tough!
Wow... Really? Thanks James! Hope you have MANY more good nights. ;o)
My goodness..that singer was cute... good voice, too.
Tricia Star this music just wasnt around long enuff for me i wished it wuduv lasted forever!!!!
he passed away far too soon he sounded just like robert plant
Daniel MacMaster - From Barrie, Ontario, Canada...died too young. :(
Daniel MacMaster was so hot in the 80's
if he hadn't cared so much for his hair while singing, he'd have eclipsed MJ…
June 27, 2022 bay-bee!!! I was 24 in '89. The 80's were the bomb! RIP Daniel. 😢😇
Going back in time: my 18 year-old self would like to dedicate this song to my wife that I'll meet 8 years down the road. Yes, sometimes you have to wait.. patience young one..
DANIAL MCMASTER WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MAN. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND MAN HE COULD SING. SO SORRY HE DIED TOO YOUNG! I STILL LOVE LISTENING TO BOHNAM ABSOLUTELY! WONDERFUL BAND WHO ROCKED ME AWAY! GOD BLESS JASON AND THE REST OF THE BAND. I THINK THEY WERE SENSATIONAL!
He was gorgeous, like Kip Winger. I wanted to eat them both.
I'm Connie and their Tom's name. Jason Bonham wow and Daniel my goodness gosh. I can't maintain myself. Connie. Ward.
Still love this band, and very sorry not to have them around any more! What a sad story for such an amazing band!!!
This band should have rocketed to the top...
It did but it only had this one hit wonder. After that, the party was over for them.
I freaking love this song, where the hell was I in 89??? missed this boat but found it at last!! song is stuck in my head for sure.
2023, 56 years old and still rockin this awesome band !! 🤘😺✌
Take me back to the 80's and 16!
Meee too...arghhh👽😱😱😅😅..my ballss 🍺..🍺😱👽
omg lol this just gave me a flashback when I was a teenager ;)
+debbie norred Debbie this song marked the close of an amazing time with a woman I was crazy about. No regrets for the great times we had. She emailed tonight. I guess we'll have contact and a tie that binds till death.
+debbie norred huh girl.....::::18&LIFE 2GO
I'm old js
+debbie norred The 80's must have been a great time huh
Totally!
Drinking Absinthe Verte, and listening to old songs reminding of long lost lovers.
I still listen to this album, so underrated, every song was great
I love this song, in all of its overproduced 80's glory.
Thanx, Hair Nation ♥ 5/11/19 @ 8:12 pm ♥ Teen girl of the 80's still rocking Bonham loudly and proudly in her Mustang, and needing to hear it again.
God, I miss the 80's.
Seen it all musically at 55 years old. Never saw these guys live but remember being floored by this masterpiece when it was out... as I still am.
I don't care what anybody says, we had the best Music back then. OMG It was electric in your mind and body! Just Perfect! Man they worked hard for that sound! And then with a girl, Oh Man it was magic!
The rock from the late 60's,70's & early 80's stands the test of time 40-50 years later ( Zep, Sabbath, Purple, Hendrix, Cream, Aerosmith, Rush, Stones, Ac/ DC, Priest, Van Halen etc..etc..etc
Will the crap of today still be played 50 years later? I think not. Best time to have grown up..musically!
This randomly came on the radio yesterday i swore blind it was kingdom come until i arrived here.. Bonham.
2023 and I’m going to see him tonight. Haven’t see him in 20+ years!!
I was introduced to Daniel ( RIP) at a Hamilton bar called the Jockey Club / Dorseys ( RIP also no longer there) by his girlfriend at the time Cherie Howden (RIP) Dan was still in Scorcher at the time. Super, super nice down to earth guy, whom I'll never forget. Sure there was Zep similarities, why wouldn't you run with it? Great voice with lots of range.
Man that is one hell of a tasteful guitar solo. Unforgettable...
Seriously, this is one of my all time favorites, especially as an Advocate for Christ. In the meantime, all I can do is wait for him as an Obedient, Faithful sister of Jesus/Yeshua and be ready upon his arrival.
I miss the 80s! I had so much fun!
Totally agree with that really like there stuff listened to this cruising around in the day good times good music thanks Jason !!!!
2023. Still love and admire.
2023 still listening, totally underrated band.
His voice and presence is still missed!!!! ❤
