This is amazing, Mr Jimmy is basically a Page clone, Jason has the good DNA from his Father. But for me it really makes you appreciate how magical Robert Plant was to the Zep sound. Plant is so difficult to recreate.
Need to hear my friend Rich sing it. Keyboardist for Herman's hermits. His Cleveland band used to be a zeppelin cover band late 70s. Can still make your jaws drop when you hear them. (Rest in heaven sweet Wes)
James is amaxing compared to 95% of the jokers out there. Jason chose him for his accuracy, not the shaking his ass around with a wig and suspenders. James does the job like a champion.
@@joepinto509he only dsid that not to spund like a grumpy old man like he has ever 10 years yhat produces how many Zepp clones? The singer has the long range howel otherwise he sounds NOTHING like Plant. GVF SUCKS and no Zeppelin fans like or respect them. The song eriting os do weak it's embarrassing. The only people who liked GVF half way though their low musical quality career were middle schoolers who didn't even know who Zepp was. Name me ONE full song that sounds like Plant... Can't be done. Give me Lenny Wolfe or Coverdale over that goof anyday of the week. Pfft.
I was at the Knebworth August 11 show 1979, Jason has got it spot on,,, Bonzo was totally amazing on Kashmir that night. In fact Zepp were on fire. There have been a lot of close 2nd s in my gig history but that show will never be bettered in my opinion. 👏👍
Beautiful just absolute magic to my ears & soul! It sounds amazing! Love to each of you for making this dream happen & come alive! Real rock music! God Bless
So INCREDIBLY PROUD of the lead singer, one of my BEST FRIENDS. Grew up with him playing his garage gigs before he hit it big. I always knew he would someday. He is so incredibly talented. I love you Mr. Dylan!!! You should check his art out as well. He’s amazing. Talented in so many facets!! ❤️❤️❤️
One of the HARDEST things to do is get props for your skills when you are the son of one of the greatest to ever play. Getting out of that shadow is nearly IMPOSSIBLE unless you are better. Jason is a BAD ASS drummer. His credits say all that needs to be said about how good of a pro he is.
I have seen Jason Bonham twice, He starts his shows by giving massive tributes to Dad, and playing family videos on the screen behind him, and your right he is a BAD ASS drummer. I have an autographed drum head he signed for me hanging in my office at home.
And the thing is, the reason he's doing this is to honor his dad's legacy. In interviews. He has stated that drumming was not really that big of a priority in his life, it wasn't until his dad died that he decided to start taking the drums really seriously again, because he wanted to carry on the family legacy.
@@rhythmista7707Jimmy is always clean. But he plays even the flaws if he is doing a recreation of a Page live show. Obviously, he is not going to do that in this band.
@@DaveClark-ib6sp No mistakes. He recreates the live versions exactly as performed. It's really an incredible story. I wish they would make the documentary "Mr. Jimmy" widely available or put it on a streaming platform.
People don't realize how hard it is to play this slow and keep it steady. This is the SLOWEST VERSION OF KASHMIR I have ever heard! GREAT job, boys! 9:08
Click track for tempo" cuz all us drummers that channel the energy " put it down" & always kick it up a few bpm"s especially live" not so much in concert settings with orchestra" then you down shift a gear"
Jason Bonham is with out a doubt one of the 5 best percussionist if not the best I've ever heard in my 69yrs on this on this planet PERIOD! COMANCHE OUT!!
AWESOME!!! I only wish I could have been there to see this show. Thanks for posting the video!!! Post a video of the rest of the show, or other songs if you have them -- if you would.
Just saw these guys last night at Westbury Music fair. they were all spot on. close your eyes and you can hear the LP. POSSIBLY NOT THEIR FAULT BUT I EXPECTED TO HEAR SONIC BLASTING IN YOUR FACE ROCK AND ROLL, AND THAT DIDNT HAPPEN! i would give them a 3 and half star because of that. Worth seeing once if your a Zeppelin fan.
I was at the Knebworth show TWICE! cost £15 per ticket ( my weeks wages in 79' & still have my program ) Chaz & Dave opened up for them! Zep opened with Black dog and a Japanese girl gave birth in front of me during Stairway! It was soo hot i drank 5 tins of tango orange and never ever drank it again ! the whole weekend was an Awesome experience
I just wish that I could hear the ghost notes I see him playing in the reflection on the tympany. Live mix. What can you do? Jason is a MONSTER player!
I actually didn't care for the way Mr. Jimmy played Black Mountainside, it actually sounds better finger picked which was how I taught myself to play it. Not sure how Jimmy himself actually did it. That song was my introduction to the DADGAD tuning which "Kashmir" is actually played in. I actually taught myself the song in standard tuning and prefer to play it that way still but, these guys are great and love that they're keeping the magic alive!
Imagine Jack Russell (from Great White) or Tom Keifer (of Cinderella) on vocals for these guys. Keifer also provides a second guitar while Russell has Robert Plant down. Better yet, both. If only.
Jason, I guess I'm spoiled watching the UA-cam Video of you and the rest of the Real Led Zeppelin performing Kasmer. In that Video, I really believe you were as good if not better than your Dad.
I would guess John Bonham is present everytime his son Jason is playing a Led Zeppelin song... Amazing Jason took after his dad... so good to see... RIP BONZO
Have to disagree Jason.I was right at the front BOTH Weeks at Knebworth and for me your dads tour de force was " SICK AGAIN" the ludwig kit was vibrating back and forth I thought it was going to come off the plinth! God bless your dad. I have seen Buddy Rich live and Keith Moon but believe me JOHN HENRY BONHAM was the govenor
No JPJ played the keyboard and using his feet for the bass (can't remember what he used to do it with) That shows just how f****** awesome they were it takes multiple people to do what those 4 alone could play so cool😎😎
Danelectros are pretty good sounding guitars. I have one (as well as many other guitars). They aren't expensive, but still have a nice feel if set up properly.
John Bonham's spirit is definitely channeled through his son. He is amazing!
This is amazing, Mr Jimmy is basically a Page clone, Jason has the good DNA from his Father. But for me it really makes you appreciate how magical Robert Plant was to the Zep sound. Plant is so difficult to recreate.
Not really have the lead singer from Greta Van fleet sing it ...plant loves them ..saying they sound like Zeppelin 1....

Jimmy Sakurai is "the man". He is like having Page in your band. The closest thing possible.
Yeah but tighter..😂

My favorite band Led Zeppelin your Dad would be proud Jason 👍
He's done his father justice long live John bonham
Saw this show a few weeks back and it was fantastic. Every member is great and Jason absolutely killed it!!
Just saw them on 11/21 in Asheville NC!! Killer show 🎤🔥🎸🥁
I saw Jason Bonham 1984.
He had a crazy drum solo.

Love Mr. Jimmy and that Jason helps us remember his Dad.
Bravo all I can say just like having led back again bravo loved it so much amazing voice.
Music is THE time machine.
I was just taken to a place I wish to revisit. Thanks to these players, I am there.
Jason is a proud of Great "Bonzo"! RIP,Sir John Bonham!Thank's Led Zeppelin for their music!👻☮️😅
Awesome Jason going off at the end !!!! loved it
This is the best I have heard since the original Zep. Thanks for posting it. ❤❤❤

Incredible 👍🤘🎤🎸🎧
Jason is the man 👏🙏👍
Jason Bohnham played pops part and made it SO MUCH *better*
The singer nailed it! great job everyone
I d say the singer is by far the worst of the whole band
Absolutely Amazing!
Kashmir will always grab you in to a groove.
I love Jimmy Sakurai's guitar playing, you are so charming! 🤟🤟🇮🇩🇮🇩
AWESOME!!! I only wish I could have been there to see this show. Thanks for posting the video!!! Post a video of the rest of the show, or other songs if you have them -- if you would.

The Singer James Dylan is the real deal and such a nice humble guy!!
You nailed it boys!!!!!!!
Just WOW
Going to see them 8/23 in Dallas. Booyah!!
Love the old Acoustic bass amps and stacks.
Super wow keren
The guitarist looks exactly like Jimmy Page😂😂
I think that’s the point
Ya lots of respect to Jimmy Sakaru? not only can he look like Page he can also play the stuff note for note. Amazing!
also Young Astrophysics Osiris Rex Bennu Queen Guitarist: Brian May,
🎸 🔭. ☄️✨
He does too 😂 how cool
I thought so too
I was at the 1st Knebworth 4th August 79, just wonderful
Singers Killing it❤
Top job!
I just saw Jimmy page at the gibson garage they are releasing his iconic doublenecks big bucks I think I heard 50.000 dollars.
Very good singer was struggling a little at the but shit man great stuff.
I know your Dad would be very proud of you. One day we will see him again and I can’t wait for you to introduce him to me.
Much love and respect.

Absolutely fabulous Mr. Bonham! Despite an awful video editing done by someone who doesn't know music or who to focus on when.
I remember seeing you as a kid in The Song Remains The Same. Your father I'm sure would be proud. But you can't replace Plant's voice in that song.
It's a fucking tribute.
Get bent.
The Singer in a lot of THERE songs is,in my opinion a very close second to Robert

Bonzo Jr doing his Daddy quite proud
Bonzo would be so proud
Everyone at 1:05 "Over the Hills and Far Away!" haha

Psycho Bunny T-shirt ... he totally gets it!
John would be proud . I have seen
I have seen them twice. They are great!!!
And I saw the Knebworth performance
Bass drum sounds killer but where is the mic?

somehow these clips keep coming up on my feed, Love Zap and while this is good. I can for sure see WHY LedZep never toured with Jason .
You win the most idiotic comment.
Thanks for the laugh, bud.
Jimmy's mini- me 😅
JPJ played the keys and played the base with his feet is what they say .
Yes that is correct you can see especially the Earls Court 1975 performance of Trampled under Foot.

Zeppelin is back? 😁
Jason should wear a long hair wig? 😁
Is that Plant playing bass? 😂
Jimmy Page's son looks just like him.
DW>Ludwig
If Jimmy Page had an Asian younger brother from another mother....Or father...🤣
Jimmy's mom is/was actually Chinese 👍 "true fact"
Brother is rocking a Danelectro....one of the cheaper guitars you can buy. Just goes to show you, it's in the hands and not in the instrument.
Danelectros are pretty good sounding guitars. I have one (as well as many other guitars). They aren't expensive, but still have a nice feel if set up properly.
This is the same guitar jimmy uses in Kashmir 79 knebworth
Jason is using DW instead of Ludwig drums ?? His dad would not be happy !
Why does the bass player look like Plant?
Damn...
