Thanks for the video on the x5 mini. Simple but good showcase. Ordered one over the EZ flash omega. Between the save issues and worse battery life this was an easy choice. No problem paying an extra 40 for better quality of life and not worrying about replacing it. Have a good one brother!
I use an EZ Flash for my GBA needs I bought of Amazon a while back around 50 bucks. It fits well on all GBA's including my Micro. It also comes with another small shell replacement designed for the Nintendo DS Lite where it sits flush with it which is real nice.
@IsaacInfernape2000 Yeah I looked it up. 98 bucks is pricey. I still think it's worth it for what it does but you also need to remember that there's cheaper stuff out there.

The differences I've seen are that the Everdrive is a lot more power efficient and when saving, you don't have to worry about waiting 5-10 sec before shutting down your GBA like with the EZ Flash
Now we only need to wait for a version of that cartridge that fit (without stiking out from the GBA cartridge slot) the Nintendo DS lite ... EZ-Flash IV Omega FOREVER !!! The EZ-Flash IV Omega is a cartrige that "fits all" with his "double case cartrige" that can fit all GBA's and Nintendo DS's cartridge slot's without stiking out. P.S. Obviously the cartridge is not perfect, we need a video compararion between this new GBA Everdrive cartridge an the EZ-Flash IV Omega to see all the differences beteween the two devices.
Are the emulators already on the Everdrive cart? I realize the roms aren’t and those are easy to find but I’m not sure if I could find the right emulators.
Don’t get me wrong: I love my GBAs, but after playing GBA games on my DSi XL screen thanks to GBARunner2, there must be a very good reason to use a GBA flash card again... and emulators are better on NDS... like S8DS.
For me the thing that might justify it would be link cable support including built in functionality of the wireless adaptor originally sold alongside Pokemon Firered.

Yes. The DS will boot the card on the GBA mode... but why? A DS flash card is way cheaper and native emulators for the DS are going to work better, like S8DS or GameYob.
Hope u dont get the same issues that i do... First days everthing ok, then the flashcart starts to failed, tested with bunch of sd cards and different systems... This is a known issue in the krikkz forum, looks like the first batch has a soldering ram problem, i'm waiting for my replacement cart over 2 mounths now.

How much better is this than the EZ Flash Omega? I have the omega and I'm on the fence about it. I had an sd card that wasn't the best and it corrupted all my saves amd hald of the game files.. left a sour taste in my mouth.
Hey all I have the ez flash omega and it works perfect on my micro, only thing is idk how to get back to the game menu once in a game. I’ve tried a bunch of configurations but I have not figured it out. Greatly appreciate the help
for gba games, you have to open it with addons.then you will be able to reset back to the rom menu by pressing L1, R1,start in that sequence and holding. gb and gbc just press L1 and R1
@@kurtsmith2286 I had that once. But I think it was the micro SD card. Just copy everything and transfer to a new card and the problem is fixed. All the saves are also transfer as well. I have not have any problems with it since.

Yes, emulators are on the software. With a little bit of finagling, you can also run a few snes games as well, but it’ll be glitchy and soundless

I do recomend, the X5 saves as a normal cartridge... Only the X7 has savestate, wich means that u can save anytime anywere in the games
