3:12 unofficially Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire and Mario & Lugi Superstar Saga have a patch that gives them rumble compatibility with the ODE the EZ flash team also released a guide on how to mod rumble into games that never originally had rumble I thought that'd be worth mentioning

Ooo, very similar to the custom shell and GBA EZ Flash IV I just did today. Same SNES buttons, but my GBA has a GBC Atomic Purple shell.
Also; My EZ Flash IV uses a "MINI SD" card, NOT a "microSD" card. For that reason alone I do not recommend the EZ Flash IV despite how fun and easy customizing the UI is.

I believe the rumble feature can be used in a Nintendo DS so I can function as a DS rumble pack. And now I believe it can also be used on an analogue pocket for the same purpose.
1:25 - I just bought a Definitive edition from AliExpress with a 32GB SD , 4000k games (80% recognized and fun games but probably more like 2500) it was 76$
Paired with my R4 with 800DS + 1000 GB(A/C) roms with my OG DS , can't complain one bit.
I recently got a custom gba sp and I’m looking into a flash cart for Pokémon rom hacks. I think I’m going to have to go with the EZ Flash DE simply due to price compared to the Everdrive
Hello. Thanks for the video. I just wanted to ask you a question aside from the ez flash. Do you have any ripples on the v3 screen when pressing the buttons while playing? Because there was such issue with the first bracked for the laminated screens. Thanks :)

what do you mean exactly when you say "resetting the firmware"?
So the cartridge just emulates everything? I have gba emulator on my pc and there is slight input delay and the sound quality is slightly worse and buggy and I would hate for that to be on my gameboy

I'm pretty new to all this Classic game emulation, so please bear with me if I make some mistakes. would I be able to use this method to play fan made games such as infinite fusion?
Yes load it on the micro sd card and be sure your loading the right .gba file and your good! Play like any other game!
ROM hacks should work fine, but I think Infinite Fusion is made in RPG Maker, so I don't know if that would be able to run on a flash cart like this

@@cosmicaler yea but the previous version is clearly showing a difference. For some reason 3.0 has this different/monotone of colors compared to the vibrant 2.0

So EZ Flash Omega DE is much more easier to get where I come from locally. Is the battery life difference for Everdrive GBA Mini worth it? It will be like $20-$30 more if I plan to get Everdrive GBA Mini plus post office/custom office fee.
Get which your heart desires! You won’t be disappointed with either. I would choose ez flash cuz extra features
In my opinion if you’re doing a review of a product you should cover all the features. Saying “I’m not planning using this feature so I want talk about” doesn’t make for a great review. I’ve seen other comments about this too so I can’t be alone with this thought.

@@PizzaHandhelds I'm not sure? Its not cheap to get a modded GBA... you could get a device that emulates up to ps1 for less than that... Its just odd that it emulates GBA games on a GBA... Also if the GBA plays GB and GBC natively why can't it play them without emulation?
@SuavePeanuts For one thing it's not really emulation. You're running the data through the flashcart into real hardware, emulation is when everything is digital you're pretty much tricking the game to run on something it was never designed for.
@@SuavePeanutsas for the reason why people buy this, it's because people prefer an authentic experience which means holding the console in your hands and playing it on the same resolution screen it was made for

Yeah, I don’t know why he didn’t cover it in the review but the “Mode B” on the EZ Flash Omega DE also supports linking to DS games.
It will boot directly to the last played game on the NOR FLASH.

The EZ-Flash Omega Definitive Edition has many more features than the everdrive. If the build quality wasn't worse than the everdrive I would consider it the DEFINITIVE flash cart. Unfortunately mine no longer works and my one month return window is up. Shame, besides the build quality every thing about the Omega is better.
@Falcon-um7vo After some trouble shooting, I believe the memory chip is not soldered securely. Sometimes it works, sometimes it boots into safe mode. When I test the card I get a [read S71 ID ERROR! ! ! !] I might try fixing it if I ever get an air soldering gun.

Prices are super high. Vitas are so nice and can play most everything with a little setup. V nice option
Its all about playing on original hardware. While yes some mod their screens, but initially its still original hardware and it still hits diff than any other console using emulation. Still, its all about preference. If u like it on vita, go for it.

2:36 bro what does that even mean? For 70 dollars it should just work... I've listened to what he said like 5 times and it still doesn't make any sense. He says that before turning off the console and "ending your gaming session" you need to "reset" the firmware? it sounds like he's saying you have to save it, then turn it off, then turn it back on again, then turn it off again. But surely that can't be right? Think I'll get an everdrive as this seems really janky.
