Gym muscles/stamina vs. on-site muscles/stamina is a real thing. It’s no accident that hardcore prospectors with staying power are often on the thinner side. There are exceptions, of course, but that’s been my observation.
Either your pooch is a newbie gold miner (watching every scoop go into the sluice) or he’s got the fever. 😂
