Like other comments, I'm here to suggest a large intake pipe, reduced down to provide a constant supply of water on top, eliminating the need of a water bucket guy. Second, I made it this far because when you introduced yourself and turned around to introduce your crew, I was hoping you'd introduce the dog, and you did that before your other 2nd hand mates. Because Rigby is the 1st hand mate. Well done. 🐾 🐾 🐕
Watching you play in the dirt reminds of a life well lived “. You live in the moment. Like every minute is ur last. A real life seeker. One day , will pan a pan together. Thanks Jason. That gravity feed is amazing
Good morning Jason and the rest of the Flour Gold Wizards team 😎 , It's 5:30 am on a Sunday and I'm watching this awesome video while getting ready to head out and finish my motorcycle m2 license course and become a legit rider. Now I can jump on the bike with my gold pans and gear and head north next weekend to prospect. 😁🍺🇺🇲✌🇨🇦👍
Comment 83 Your highbanker work great with the gravity feed and sometimes you have to leave gold to find gold lol... thanks for shareing Jason Regards Sleepy
That is an Awesome idea! I Love it! A Gravity Fed Highbanker is the Only Way to sluice properly, here in Oregon! We have only a short period in the late summer and fall to be allowed to 'Non-Powered Sluice' some of the Rivers and Creeks. You have just opened the way! No more pumps needed! Awesome! You Sir, Have just opened my eyes to a new way to get to the gold, and make prospecting FUN Again, while still obeying the silly Laws 'they' throw at us to stop all Prospecting adventures. I'm going to try this out. Thank you Jason!
outdoors activity with friends, fresh air, lots of work and satisfactions. Thanks for sharing! I enjoy that much gold searching along the rivers and creeks with my sons in Piedmont region in Italy, with all the gold that the waters bring down from the Alps.
An interesting idea with the high banker without a motor pump. I also received a VDR mat from SCP. I will not glue them in. Your video came at the right time. Many greetings to your friends and you Jason. Peter 🍺👍
Again and again great video. 👀 Good idea to use the bucket 🪣 with a hole in it. With come in handy when the water flow is down. Bigger rocks = Bigger gold, that rocky place you went to is the next big clean-up. 🤔 🤠🌵⛏
No bugs, no rain, and lots of gold in the pan. Nice outing. Fun to share with your co-worker but does he have the fever? Many try and then question the sanity of anyone wanting to spend a day bent over in the swamp only to arrive home with a sore back an a few specs in the sniffer bottle. Not realizing it’s a huge win to find any color? I spent the day yesterday climbing deep into a canyon only to confirm all the placer gold had been collected years ago. Can’t find it if you don’t test! Thanks for sharing. ⚒
That is so cool! No carrying heavy batteries, pumps 😎🍻 I can't believe I never thought of that,I did that years ago when I had a pump go on an evap cooler but with a quarter inch hole .
Hi again, enjoyed your video. Good to see everyone having some fun. Some nice gold for your efforts as well. All the best and keep up with your videos, Natalie 👍😊✨
I’d highly suggest at the top of the bucket put a 90° elbow to the side, dumping into the bucket with a hose. Into both the bucket water, and the stream once the water starts to pull it should also be free of air and also pull vacuum, which will draw water up out of the creek so you don’t have to constantly fill the bucket. It’s actually pretty sweet. Just thinking about it seeing your design. just build a basic siphon from the stream
LOL JASON RIGBY IN THE FRONT AND SAM IS IN THE BACK LMFAO. Thanks I needed a good laugh and if you bring gold back home that's a win Thanks BIG FELLA 👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦
Good to see Rigby out with you!! How about getting someone now out mining I'll bet he is hooked 😎 thank you for the video see you in the next one I always look forward to it!!
Still looked like a good day! I hope Sam enjoyed himself! I really like the interest people have taken in this hobby thanks to people like you Jason. Well done as always!
Hey Jason, like your invention ! No motor, batteries, or pump to operate the high banker. Seems to work pretty good. Keep you busy though. Thanks for the adventure my friend !! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍🍺🍺😎
Hi Jason. Good idea with the 5 g bucket. Your great idea may be improved by putting a larger fitting and using reducers to control the flow. Always great vids, ideas and humor.
Nice haul from the kriks! Really like the gravity fed highbanker. How about a small water wheel to keep the bucket fed? Nice show, keep 'em coming!! Pet the team!!🥴👍🐾🍀🍀🍻🐾🍺⛏✔💰💰👊🇺🇸
That’s awesome in Michigan we can’t have power. So this definitely works for me. Could of used this in Alaska but next time. Did you use a 3/4 fitting in bottom of bucket? Well I no what my next shop project is!!!! Just watched video before heading to a quick spot I wanted to finish a little deposit. Saving my main spot for family or friends. Thanks for sharing great job as always
Great idea, no battery, no noise, looks like it werked good too! Heck of a clean up for chasing fish :) Nice to see Ryan again and newbie Sam getting into the mix. Heading up to the beach on the 15th for 4 days. Good luck Jason.
That high banker set up was excellent. It just amazes me the amount of GOLD that you can find up in Wisconsin, as well as so many of the lower 48. Who knew? 😂 Thanks for a great video. 🐊
That's a great idea!! With a water hose or 2 you could siphon water into the bucket from upstream/uphill.. this is the kind of setup that will be a game changer for areas where motorized equipment isn't allowed. Awesome work Jason👏👍👊
Why not just use a pump powered by an electric generator or car battery? A pump is not a motor so it doesn't violate the rules against motorized equip. Motorized rules are about keeping generators and dredges out of riverbeds.
@@scottwall8419 I would if it were allowed. I don't know the laws for different states but in NC I can use pumps and motorized equipment in most places but National Forest Land is strict here. In the mountains on NF land is pans only. Not all are as strict but none of the NF lands here allow motorized equipment for prospecting.
That is a pretty awesome set up, this is perfect for places that you can't run power, ect. Well looks like im heading to the metal scrap yard on Tuesday, Happy Labor Day Jason and the wizard family!! Cheers from CO 🍻🏔⛏🥏🪣🐕🇺🇸
Pretty nifty Contraption you got there buddy. Too bad there wasn't a way without using a battery that you could somehow gravity recirculate water back into that bucket. Always enjoy sipping on my morning coffee watching the wizard! AFNB Brother!...🍺🍻🍺
looks like its working good maybe put 5 to 10 smaller holes to even out the water more. if you put a tub hat the bottom you could even make it recirculating for spots like alfa where you only have a little water to work with as the stream would only have to make up for the spillage. thanks for the share! stay awesome.
Wow Ryan! That’s a nice sized picker m8... Excited to see the next spot. That gravity feed system is great, lota spots it pays to be quiet. Alpha Bravo looks amazing, big dark gravel on clay. Perfect!

That doesn't mean no pumps. It just means no pumps driven or powered by gas, lpg or diesel generators. Use an electric recirculating pump plugged into an electric generator recharged by solar or buy one that hooks to a car/marine battery posts. All of it recirculating from a large bin on shore. Easy peazy lemon squeezy
Great video , awesome gold , wonder if you reduce the size of the fitting on the bottom of gravity bucket it would take less water and work just as well , love the idea good job ,,,Bill
I assume that because i lost little to no gold the water flow is close to perfect for that size mat … 30 seconds is actually a decent amount of time in between pails , not even hard work!!!!!
Cool system adding your river sluice on to the end of the high banker. I’ve been thinking about doing that but they don’t lineup that well. Gold hog has a system but it’s pretty expensive to get to the connecting pieces to connect to the keen.

I have been gravity dredging for over 20 years. Silence is golden!!!👍
