That’s a tough one 🤔 Jeff has a lot of energy and knowledge. Jason is tall and a little relaxed and quiet. I’m going to go with Jason, it’s more of an even fight. Jeff is probably a low key psycho ninja 😂
Have you ever thought about starting a prospecting tourist business?? I've been wanting to fly your way to prospect/pan just to learn more?? And have some fun with fellow old man backs like me!!
If this actually happens would it be announced on vogus, spud, old moldy, ot facebook?? Also would there be an option to have buckshot/ Mr sweat pants ??
Not sure about this , there would have to be a cap on a small very small number of people , I know of a prospecting group and they swamp your areas once they know where to go , I’m not kidding , in my opinion not a good idea , areas I know have been decimated by groups and they tell there mates and so on , loose lips sink ships , I have nothing to do with prospecting groups now totally stuffed my area where I was going.
That "ssshhhhhh..." right around 17:20 was golden! Idk why, but that shit made me laugh my ass off... might have something to do with the vodka too!😂😂😂
Chris I do have to say that I enjoyed your videos you have so much information and inspiration to go out and pan for gold I just hope that one day that people can use your experience to be happy with there life
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻 I am new to the channel. Just watched my first whole video. And watched a short before Thought it was pretty cool. So stopped in to take a peak. And really enjoyed it. I love that little tiny green pan at the end. That was awesome, see you next time.
"giant snuffer bottle" You just gave me an idea. :) One-way valve on a yabbi pump - suck profit, push down to make it go into a hose and then a bucket. Pump until bucket full, no need to stop and lift all the time! Just need dump it down a clean up sluice after, or instead of pumping into a bucket just pump directly into a sluice.
😂 as soon as you get onto good gold you somehow turn into an 1800's gold prospector with the twang in his voice and there a jig in there im pretty sure too😂 your gold takes are very respectable for the ground you have to work. Good stuff chris and gadzee has just added to the experience that is Vo-Gus Prospecting i rate it.
That was awesome and interesting, I headed down to reedy creek midweek for the first time this year and come across that dark mud, well that and grey and yellow clay and the gold was good even after the Easter campers had been through, workings were everywhere but where I looked, hopefully I can get back there before the water comes up I only had time for a few pans at the time but if I get back I’ll let ya know where ish I looked because I learned to look there from one of your older vids, cheers mate 🍻
When you ran up to the camera and said I’m back, it reminded me of Monty Python’s Flying Circus intro where the old man with a long beard and tattered clothes makes his way to the camera and says “It’s”. I so expected you to say “It’s”.
Heavy pan feels feels promising. Panning technique anxiety and tap-tap-tapping a pixie smile as the wildlife laugh, and the Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu to saunter up to the bank and start singing, "All bound for Mu Mu Land, Hey!" I'd go back and watch this on the mobile and on 360p, for those NTSC videotape psychedelic effects! Great gold dandruff and flakes Vo-Gus! Reedy gold, steedy steaks, seedy sour mash corn whiskey, the only type of gold out of Tennessee (made up that last bit, though never saw "Gold Fever" go there).
At 7.05 you dropped your recording equipment into the water. Well, I had to laugh, cause just the other day I had my best pan yet at home in our kitchen, went to pick up my headlamp & the strap snagged on something that tipped entire gold pan of concentrates all over the kitchen floor. I did however, manage to retrieve most of it back into my pan & separate it out again to add to my vial. I’m sure there are gold flakes between the 140 year old kitchen floorboards though. 😁
Well done Chris, you 2 deserve to get a really decent payout. I know how much testing it takes to hone in on a good spot. I just dream of having as good of a spot! Wicked job. ❤ it big time 😊
Chris, I have to ask... because You ARE the one person closest to the Mayor of Bonanza City... are YOU Gadzee's Shoveldogger!?🤔 I think you may be... just kidding of course, maybe, love y'alls videos! Keep em coming!!!😁😎
@@VoGusProspecting You'd think, but Berlin, New Hampshire be like Manchester, New Hampshire, tiny nightclubs? (While going onto the mobile to comment as can't on the telly, the film is super psychedelic, like an old NTSC videotape, it could be in colourblind enhanced mode, though you'd go cross-eyed watching too much. Anyhoo, great heavy golden flakey dander! We're reversing a dog washing contraption with hand-cranked venturi adaptation... No, it's not a dredge your honour. Creek vacuum? Vacuums assume air, your honour. Ye cannae change the laws of physics. Law that, your honour.)
Being a good Rode mic you can fix it…most of the time…IF you took the battery out almost immediately! Pull the whole thing apart and wash it with de-ionised water. Deionised is different to demineralised. After you’ve cleaned the dirt with the water, spray with contact cleaner, let it dry, reassemble with a fresh battery. You should be good to go.
Another Like 👍 👌, cool! Oh, BTW, Chris, I do Not like the dream mat...but I can re-pan what was lost...I'm finally guessing that I need a Miller table.
@@VoGusProspecting thanks...but I bring home dirt & actually like panning it to see what I have, faster than setting up the mini-recirculating sluice...I tried it with my concentrates but maybe I'll try it on fresh dirt. It captured a couple dozen garnets tho...I should probably screen it 1st...but panning in a dry desert 🏜 I could bring buckets 🪣 of water out...still, I like the old miners moss & riffles, or my Mountain Goat Trammell sometimes too. Thanks.
@@VoGusProspecting damn that’s a shame they look smaller on the inside, anyway cheers brother! Will have to stick with my half of a metal shrimp net that I use for them 😂😂
