Boursin having a vegan option is huge!! wow! i know it's really popular for the charcuterie people(which has gotten a lot more popular from tiktok i think) so having a big cheese brand make a vegan option for something that's so heavily meat and dairy focused seems huge. Even tho you didn't really like it, i'm hoping it pops up here! that they even tried making a plant based option seems amazing to me, i love it

@MdoubleHB I honestly can't tell if you had a traumatic brain injury or if English is not your first language.
as a french person i can confim that Boursin has a grainy appearance , it's totally normal, whether it's the dairy one or the vegan one :)
We didn't eat Sour/Hot Warheads as kids because they tasted good. We did it because we're masochists.
I thought they tasted good, especially the black cherry
@MdoubleHB She's not using the word in the way that you're thinking. When Swayze says "partner" or "toddler" or "tiny baby" they are stand ins for their names.
@MdoubleHB why is that stupid? And why are you trying to police how she speaks about her family.
They have never been a part of her channel and that's how she references them.
@MdoubleHB ah, I see the troll is back

I love these vegan food reviews! There are so many vegan products that I haven’t heard about yet and I like hearing about new stuff from other vegans.

My sister and I used to make hard candy at home when we were kids, and always used trice as much citric acid as the recipe asked for to make them more sour. Plus we used to dip the finished hard candies in pure citric acid before eating them😂
Oh my god, my mouth hurts just reading this 🤣
Happy that Morningstar Farms transitioned to 100% vegan. Affordable options that tend to be pretty decent if they fit your flavor preferences.
oh really! all Morningstar is totally vegan? that's great news, I never got them not being that all along.
@@sarahdee374 they're not completely vegan yet. been transitioning for years now but not there yet. be sure to check the packaging
@@Wwetitanfan27 thanks, that's great to know, or be of aware of anyway. Still gotta do my homework!
I feel personally attacked by the IKEA veggie balls slander lol. I love them.
Ooh, this just made my Friday even better, thanks for the video!
Have you heard that the Perfect Day lab-grown dairy (the same stuff found in in Brave Robot ice cream) is being used in a cream cheese now? The brand is Modern Kitchen. I’m so pumped
Yes I am curious about this, I would love to see a video taste test.
I have never heard of these products! Thanks for covering them :)
The treeline vegan cheese spread is really good too! I think it was at Fredmeyer and I bought it on sale.
Yes! I loved Boursin and I think the treeline one tastes just like it. My sister and my partner agree. So yummy.

Ikea's veggie dogs are a reason enough to go to Ikea. I wish they sold that sweet mustard sauce in the deli so I could recreate them at home exactly as they're offered at stores.
They do! It's the one with dill. And they also sell the crumbled fried onions 🤤
This is really really fun. Thanks a ton UV.
Wow thanks for this. Very helpful!
The morning star chorizo and good foods queso are soooo good on a romaine salad with black beans and corn and hemp seeds
Oggi means today in italian so the gg is pronounced like the j in jam
Oggi? Ojji? Orgy 😅
Gummies cooled in the fridge? Never thought of that. I'm going to give that one a try.
Really enjoy these food reviews! I'd love more commentary about what your kids and partner think about the stuff, too.
I went to Ikea today specifically to buy their vegan meatballs cuz we ran out of the and they're my favorite food, so good ♥️ but I also like the veggie balls
Boursin is soooo good on multigrain bagel with Alfalphs sprouts. It’s the best!
Love love love the simulate nuggs .. maybe I’m weird but it’s really really good
I’ve found that plant queso at Costco and it’s definitely awesome as a pasta sauce!
I love that you featured the IKEA meatballs. I literally go to IKEA only for the meatballs. However I do like the veggie balls as well.
LOL love your description! IKEA Plant Balls are pure balls of umami!! They're SO GOOD 🤤
I tried those potato and lentil curls you were talking about and OH MY GOD they were terrible. I have trust issues now. Why UV why
I’ve been into all those good foods dip for a while now! The Buffalo is awesome and the new queso blanco is awesome heated up.
I like these reviews.
I make a really good stuffed bell pepper style soup with the Morningstar chorizo. Highly recommend trying something like that!
You should try the new vegan parm and feta from trader joes! I also saw dairy-free boursin recently!
You should try the Skittles Halloween Screamers - we've had a couple that were borderline painful sour (and yet we continue to eat them... :) )
Whaaat you don’t like the like meat nuggets? US nuggets must be really good then coz here in europe like meat is an established brand and the other vegan meat options aren’t really better. And paying 3€ for 200g is really normal. Not fair🥲
Exactly what I thought! here in Germany they are really really good though! Maybe they are different in the US?
Exactly that!!! Unbelievable she didn't like them. US vegan options must be really amazing
I love the Simulate nuggets. Could be swayed by the packaging, because I’m obsessed with it and nuggets are sometimes just nuggets.
I've only had the spicy but I really like those.
I really liked the spicy nuggs. I recently tried the impossible nuggets. They were pretty good too.
did you see target came out with a few of its own plant-based dips made with cashews? We got the pizza one and it was pretty good (very tomato-y). I think there was also an everything flavor available
I've been using Silk Ultra Unsweet as an egg replacement and it honestly works pretty well!
The unreal candy that are knock off sour skittles are possibly the most sour candy I've ever tried.
Love morning star products. I get their chic strips a lot for so many recipes
Tree Line garlic herb nut cheese spread is good!
you should definitely try three wishes cereal! it’s pretty good
I really like the Like Meat stuff tbh ☺️ haven‘t had the chicken nugget thingys, but the other meat substitutes are pretty good, especially the curry one has a great texture!
I love the Boursin cheese! I thinkk its the BEST spread you can find in Canada. Put it in my pasta and heat it: YUM
Those Meatless Farm sausages sound about like the Lifelight breakfast ones do. Found them cheap but wasn't really worth the savings! And yes, the Morningstar chorizo is the best.
Swayze doing the Fran Drescher laughter at around minute 11😁
I like the chocolate silk ultra. It's pretty good.
Like meat’s other products are really good. The nuggets were the only thing i’ve tried from them that weren’t nice so i’d recommend trying more from them, especially the chicken strips or schnitzel
ikea’s vegan meat balls are so-o-o good! even my non vegan friends loved them. their vegetable balls are not bad too though.
omg i haven't thought about sour skittles in so long... i miss them!!
I really like most of the Morningstar stuff. I think I their bacon is the best veggie bacon.
Also - maybe it’s just me. I really like the ripple vanilla as a milk to use for my lattes. Maybe that’s why I can’t find it anywhere is because so many people don’t like it. 😄
I only go to ikea for their vegan foods. Both types of meatballs, different chips, gummies and cookies. Love it!
I HIGHLY suggest trying other flavors of the good planet cheese. the provolone has a nice smokey flavor imo and my gf is omnivorous and likes the pepper jack
Today's word is: "off-putting" 😆
Better than off-pudding, I suppose. Thanks for suffering for us! ❤️
That queso is SO GOOD on potatoes.
i use the silk ultra chocolate. has none of the added sunflower OIL but a few grams of added sugar.. somehow the chocolate one has no soy taste pretty amazing. i have 3 cups every day with 40g pbfit powder and 20g swerve confectioners sugar powder mixed up. fast easy CHEAP high BCAA protein. at the end i grind up 36g flaxseed mix it with water/barley juice powder and shoot it down quick. thats my 100g protein 500% omega 3 DV 5 min breakfast. i wish the unsweetened had no added oil just less calories i would add my own cocoa powder because my opinion is swerve and allulose both make refined added sugar obsolete.
Did Hershey's ever improve their worker compensation and treatment.
The silk ultra is the best for french toast!
I like to add Silk Ultra to Kite Hill yogurts, along with some berries & a little granola 👌🏾
I didn't realize erythritol was pronounced like that but I knew immediately what ingredient it was.
Omgg they make vegan boursin?? I live in Paris and I've never seen it! Even that we can't get it before the US?? 😁
Speaking of cereals, do you not have Weet-Bix in America? It’s really the best vegan choice, easy to customize and it has iron and protein.
Wheatabix are available, they are more an east coast thing.
okay so what i'm learning here is i need a grocery outlet in my city! which is Vancouver, Canada.
Grocery outlet please come to Canada is all i'm saying
As an American who visited Grocery Outlet for the first time this year (no idea why I haven’t before), it will blow your mind when you see their prices on vegan items! They are incredibly cheap and have name brands for just a few dollars.
If you want a protein cereal vector cereal & granola are vegan. Most vector products are vegan from my understanding but just read them. They have a frosted flakes type thing for I think 13g of protein and a maple captain crunch type cereal for 10g. I’d personally like them sweeter but they’re yummy and an easy way to get protein in especially if you have it with the silk protein nut milk ;)
I think Queso is for pouring over chips for making Nachos.
Can you please make a video on Jenelle LeMoine?
hey I like the oggi's gluten free - it's softer than gluten free crusts, due to the cauliflower. Blaze pizza has the best gluten free crust.
I had to go back to make sure you weren't talking about the veggie balls from ikea because yes, and thank god you agree, they're hardly edible. Like some meat-eater's vision of what us vegetable people might eat. written by a man lol terrible. edit: we have the Boursin at several different grocery stores in Canada. The texture and taste are very similar to the dairy original. highly recommend.
I like the oggi's so much - I eat it with their sprouted hummus (which you really should try. Idk where you live, but it's by the hummus guy). They just stopped carrying it, because I can't afford it - otherwise I'd eat it everyday
The chocolate bars may not be a fair test. I don't know why but it seems to me like chocolate that melts in the package tastes a lot better. I wonder if you notice a difference with the product that hasn't melted.
I'm not a super taster, but Ripple was absolutely disgusting to me. Only the super sugary chocolate variety was decent. So it's not just a you thing!
I just imagine you guys trying the Highkey cereal with the barley milk and just dying from nastiness. 😅
Methyl cellulose will toughen if you cook it twice
love the ikea vegan meatballs
Like meat is super popular here in Germany 👀
I like Aldi vegan sausage but it just needs a little more flavor.
First thing to check is the sugar content. I’m very very grateful to companies and eateries that have vegan choices.
I like but don't like the target dips. I personally can't eat chili pepper, as I get really ill from it. However, because of the almonds and cashews, I fall really ill from those after a while, so I don't eat them. I don't eat almonds and cashews - so I avoid it. Just give me the cauliflower and some other seed - like chia.
I like the good planet american cheese - it's a little flimsy, but that makes it good. I just don't like how it's all coconut oil. Like use a different oil - or better - ditch the oil
I didn't like that cereal too much either, the best healthy vegan cereal is Three wishes! Give them a review!
if you feel the barley milk's bad, their avocadomilk was worse - it tasted fishy. I mean it's a little fresh-tasting, but the duckweed makes it too fishy. They need to remove the fishiness in duckweed to sell it
A lot of the vegan cheeses seem to come from Greece, which includes Chao and Violife.
I liked the meatless farms sausages. I personally like the mushiness a little, as real meat's too tough, but I noticed you only cooked it on 2 sides. If you don't want it to get mushy - you cook it on all 4 sides. Cut it in half if you need to. It's actually meant to be roasted rather than in a pot. Grill's better too.
if you eat hummus with the pizza, it's way more protein. I don't worry about it
Whooot, like meat is one of the best vegan meat options in Germany! Besides Rügenwalder and the vegetarian butcher. I love their stuff! Also they are even more expensive in Germany (3€ for like 200g of stuff). But vegan options aren't that big here anyway (it's getting better tho!)
Another reason to go to ikea: their teas are pretty good
We have a bunch of different products of like meat here in Germany and generally I really like them, an so does pretty much everyone that I know 🤔🤷🏽♀️
Thick milk lol idk why that’s so funny 😆
The Three Wishes cereal is a decent high-protein vegan cereal... it's not AMAZING but it's decent for the nutrition
To be fair the “not a nugget” brand has changed the recipe and it’s way better now. (The ones you used to have to buy online)
They also have the vegan boursin at sprouts
Like meat is a German company. Their nuggets are admittedly not good, but they have good other stuff!
(I'll stop with the links and let you check it out via the sound on your own tik tok, if you find it interesting enough to look for a sec.! Maybe you're use to seeing these types of comments but for me it was a huge eye opener. Some of the comments are absurd.)
Why the big chicken on the Nuggs package. I just cannot get past it even when they are on sale. But maybe I am not missing anything. Thanks for the reviews. Oh, and I had my first NuGo mint bar today. They are almost non-existent in Canada but I came upon one drugstore that has a few flavours. Excellent.
I tried Nuggs (regular and spicy) and the spicy ones were best, paired with sauce. The texture was excellent for vegan nuggets, not so much the flavor. Gardein's chick'n tenders are still the best in terms of flavor imo.
The Simulate Nuggs taste like fishsticks to me, I don't see the hype. My favorite vegan nuggets are the Alpha brand's nuggets
Try “three wishes” cereal! 8g protein per serving and 3g sugar (the rest is monkfruit) and actually tastes good especially the chocolate and fruity ones.
yess the chocolate one is really good
@MdoubleHB are you freely? Is that who you actually are?
@MdoubleHB Apologize yourself for your insolent nonsense then delete your account and yourself
Try the Daiya veggie based gluten free crust with vegan toppings and their cheese. NOT their gluten free crust made from GF flours., that's crap.
I'm concerned with the preponderance of coconut oil in so many vegan processed foods, esp cheeses. It's getting to be like palm or soybean oil, it's everywhere. And it is not a healthy food. It is highly saturated and very bad for heart health. If you're interested Mic the Vegan did an episode on oils rated worst to healthiest. Check it out if your health is a factor in your food choice
every time I buy kite hill, I open it up and it’s already got red mold in it. I stopped buying it…
Kashi has high protein cereal and a zillion flavors. They use real sugar,
hey I go to the grocery outlet a lot - it's our secret!
I just ate vegan marzipan bar, I am content.
I freaking love marzipan!!
@MdoubleHB Apologize yourself for your insolent nonsense then delete your account and yourself.
You look like a much younger fuller version of the vegan teacher
hey I didn't know boursin has plant-based (well maybe I did). You have to realize alouette and boursin taste bad in general, so I don't expect the plant-based to taste better - as it's imitating what it normally tastes like - which isn't good to begin with.
I love the silk ultra in my coffee... my cereal... no...
I'm confused how you are smelling all these products without buying them.. especially frozen stuff. How can you smell them without opening up the airtight plastic coverings? Do you have a super strong nose or are you opening products just to smell them?
😂😂😂
