I can’t believe your oldest is five! I’ve been watching you for so long and it seems like they were born a couple years ago.
Same! I must've been watching since about 2012, and looking back, it's crazy how much her whole channel's changed 😂 I'm so glad if I have kids I'm covered for good vegan pregnancy advice
The beyond jerky is amazing. I didn’t even know it existed until my partner brought it home for me the other day. The best vegan jerky I’ve ever had.
The original flavor beyond jerky is incredible and blew me away but IMO the teriyaki flavor tastes like plastic and I had a hard time getting through it
@@oddysee3030 I've only tried the teriyaki and I thought it was just okay. Maybe I'll have to try the original now.
@@oddysee3030 oh man I loved the teriyaki but didn’t like the original lol.
@@oddysee3030 EXACTLY. Original was good but teriyaki needs some work. The TEXTURE was quite good, which I was really happy to see. Very jerky-like if I remember correctly. I loved the original but couldn’t eat the teriyaki
It is genuinely good.
The beyond meat jerky is disturbingly realistic. I’ve given it to two omnis who had no idea it was not vegan and refused to believe me when I told them it was. This includes my husband who has known me to be vegan for 9 years now.
jokes on you for making fun of Wicked's out-of-focus picture of their ice cream
LOVE these types of vids! Honestly youre becoming my fav youtuber atm cant stop binge watching all your vids
In Portland, I’ve seen the Beyond Jerky on the aisle caps at Abertsons (they weren’t good in my opinion). Where did you find the new So Delicious ice creams and cones?
If you try the miyokos liquid cheese, can you try it with potato gratin? I've never seen someone do it before and I think it would be a good use for it besides pizza
Coincidentally, I was trying the trader joe’s ice cream sandwich for the first time when you started talking about it. I actually liked it although you are right that the ice cream is kinda icy and would be much better if it was creamier.
we've got a lot of Wicked products in the UK, I like their Cookie dough ice cream, but in fairness, they are the most affordable ice cream, so I haven't tried many others. They also do cookies, in the "baked in store" section.
Monty Python’s Dennis Moore: “Your lupins or your life !” 😆✌️
2:55 talks about how the ice cream is out of focus." becomes out of focus for the next 5 minutes"
I’m not even vegan, but I love watching these food reviews!
If anyone is thinking of trying Silk's Next milk, I'm a dairy milk drinker as well and I think it's the closest thing I've had to real dairy. Being a bit thicker in consistency is the most noticeable difference to me.
As someone who has gone an extremely long time with consuming dairy, when I tried it again recently I found the taste quite unpleasant. I might still try next milk out of curiosity, but your review doesn't necessarily bode well.
@@garethbaus5471 Yeah you probably wouldn't like it but everyone's taste buds are different.
The Wicked Mint Choc Chip one is delicious. We don't have a lot of the B&J flavours in my country.
Have you tried Pink Panda gummies? I've only tried the sour ones and they were pretty good. Found them on Amazon.
I haven't, thanks!
Just out of curiosity, I think Wicked is a UK based brand, I wonder if that has any impact upon the taste and whether it differs so much because it’s geared towards a UK palette?
It's really delicious, I think the best of Vegan ice cream and I'm in California !
Have you tried Lindt’s oat milk based chocolates yet?
I’ve only tried the hazelnut one so far and it tastes exactly like how I remember milk chocolate tasting (a.k.a. not a fan since I prefer dark chocolate).
Those exist??? Mind = blown.
oh my god they’re amazing. my favourites are caramel and popcorn! incredible
i tried. liked it much though it was a bit pricey. dark chocolate is definitely the healthier option but as a gift for easter, christmas, mothers day or such the sweeter chocolates may be more safe to appeal to the general taste(?)
I saw the beyond jerky at my Walgreens. You might want to check it out there.
Love Gizmo! My 9-month old rescue kitten Aloo is hands down the best behaved cat in the world. She NEVER bites or scratches anyone. Everyone is welcome to rub her soft belly always. She is very playful but never destructive with our furniture or even her own toys. She's slightly chunky because she loves food a little too much but we're working on that.
Aww she sounds so cute 🥰 I am the biggest cat lover but can't justify having one in a tiny apartment.
@@wa6184 Completely understandable! I live in a 1200 sq ft apartment, so it's not ideal. But I've installed cat walks and purchased cat trees and tunnels to keep her entertained. I also play with her with interactive toys a good amount. She was born to a feral mother in a foster house that was already at capacity, so I figured she would have a better life with me. She seems very happy and content, I hope I'm right.
@@shivangi1307 I'm sure she's happy! Your apartment is more than double the size of ours 😆 I reckon that's big enough. If I was to get a cat I'd train it to walk on a leash outside, come with me to work on my bike in the front basket and chill in the office all day 😃 but still it's not feasible with our current living situation.
Were the Wondermilk cones you had soggy? Like the cone part? Only the very bottom was crunchy the rest of the cone was soggy and nasty for me 🥴
I'm now a big fan of Gizmo. I am SUCH a cat lady and I will never forget my Brutus, a half Maine Coon kitty that was born from a stray in one of our closests. He was the best boy ever, bigger than even his mom and all of his brothers. He was also such a therapy cat. If any of us got injured, someone needed to drag him away from the injured person
The Fred Meyer on Hawthorn in Portland has the Violife Parm!! Just picked some up today
The miyokos pourable looks gross when your pouring it but browns the best. I like cheeseless pizza too much to bother with it much though.
I saw the Beyond Meat jerky at my local Target. It was close to the check out area. It might be at yours bc i like in Arkansas lol
You have Wicked ice cream in Canada!? It took Tesco ages to cone out with something good. The mint chocolate is great. The vanilla is amazing and very good as a float. Tesco vegan ice cones (like corneto) and their ice lollies are so good.
I think she lives in the US.
Grocery Outlet is a store that carries items either close to or past their exportation date. My mom’s friend calls it the used food store.
I found the liquid pizza cheese at sprouts. I love it! It is soooo salty though, so out of the bottle it does not taste good, but on a pizza it's perfect.
Try Walmart for the beyond meat jerky. It's usually by the check out isle.
The beyond meat jerky is amazing. My Omni partner who loves jerky to a ridiculous level said he couldn't tell the difference. And it's the same price or cheaper than beef jerky.
these are my favorite type of videos :)
I love the Wicked Vanilla, I put ground pecans on it, supper yummy!
I just tried the Wicked ice cream in chocolate and I thought it was bonkers good. It's like a dark chocolate. I got the vanilla Wondermilk one as well, and I thought it was good.
I’ve seen Violife parm in stock at the Whole Foods here (NC). But I bought it once a couple of years ago, thought it tasted like old stinky feet and instantly tossed it out.
I love the beyond meat sausage disks! Expensive though :(
I do love next milk though honestly for coffee.
Those arent sausages, sausages are made from beef or pork. Beyond is lab made food, just get real sausages.
I tried the liquid mozzarella from Myokos! It was really tasty but just make sure you don’t pour it on too think (doesn’t melt as nice).
I saw Beyond Jerky at Target. Have you tried looking there? (I haven’t tried it yet.)
Thats not mozzarella, mozzarella needs cows milk, salt ect. Of course it wont melf, just get real mozzarella
The field roast stadium dogs are fantastic. Extremely hard to get. I have to drive over an hour away to get them. There are local stores that carry Field Roast products but for some reason they can't get in the hotdogs or the burgers. They have great products but such pathetic distribution.
I found the beyond meat jerky at Walmart in the checkout section, it was really good! The texture was a little hard and chewy but I was overall really pleased with it (and my non-vegan family liked it too)
I got one of those Ninja Creami machines for my bday. Soooo worth it. Threw a can of pineapple in the container, freeze 24 hours, and made an amazing pineapple sorbet. All kinds of recipes for vegan ice cream in their booklet.
Cool. It looks like a Pacojet for home use. Any limits on what it can blend?
I keep watching reviews to see what I might be able to pick up for my mother if I find it in a store.
I picked up one vegan cheese on a whim. No more.
I felt pretty confident with my Just Eggs purchase. I’ve seen a ton of good reviews.
She still won’t try Impossible anything.
We don’t have a Krogers nearby so I haven’t picked up anything from Wicked Kitchen. I have tried a few of their recipes from UA-cam. Meh. I had to make several adjustments. I cut the spices way down on their smashed lentil taco video and still felt like I was eating tablespoons of dry spices. Last night I tried it again but drastically cut down the spices and added a few spoonfuls of refried beans to help thicken the lentils, tomatoes, and veggies.
It was really good.
My favorite Sweet Earth bowl is the General Tsos. I used to eat the Bulgogi and liked it until one day I just decided it grossed me out and couldn't eat it any more. It kept repeating on me. 🤢
Hawthorne Fred Meyer's has the Beyond Jerky, all flavors, although I would not recommend getting the Teriyaki flavor, tastes like plastic. The original flavor is great though.
0:28 just sums up cats perfectly omg
My partner works at a circle k (which is a gas station) and they have the beyond meat jerky there.
Not sure if you can access them easily/affordably in the US, but Vegan All Sorts is the BEST vegan pick n mix/gummy sweets ever, amazing selection and taste and mouth feel the same as non-vegan versions of the same sweets. Highly recommend.
I got the beyond meat jerky at Costco. When I first tried it I hated it but then I kept eating it. It is pretty high in calorie though.
Got the Beyond jerky at Costco and it was really good! Had a smoky flavor and the texture definitely reminded me of beef jerky. Non vegan family enjoyed it as well 👍
Found the beyond jerky in Walgreens randomly this past weekend. Might be worth checking out
Just get real jerky with grass fed beef, those beyond products are just lab food with nasty ingredients and fillers
@@paladin3116 What ingredient in the Beyond Meet Jerky is nasty?
@@commentcookerupper4184 Brown sugar, Canola oil, Maltodextrin and Yeast Extract aka MSG. Grass fed beef jerky has clean ingredients. I dont see the reason for these fake jerky items, its not even jerky and worse quality.
@@paladin3116 There is sugar in like every beef jerky. Also I'm not seeing maltodextrin or yeast extract in the ingredients but maybe it's under a different name? idk. Here is from their website:
Original: Water, Mung Bean Protein, Brown Sugar, Pea Protein*, Natural Flavors, Gluten Free Oat Bran and Fiber, Salt, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Onion Powder and less than 1% of Vegetable Juice Color, Vinegar, Lemon Juice Concentrate, Pomegranate Concentrate, Spice, Garlic Powder, Citric Acid, Sunflower Lecithin.
@@paladin3116 hey sry I think youtube shadowbanned my comment (because I linked the ingredient list from Beyond Jerky, maybe it was flagged as spam). I'll just copypaste my reply without the ingredients list.
There is sugar in like every beef jerky. Also I'm not seeing maltodextrin or yeast extract in the ingredients but maybe it's under a different name? idk. Check the ingredient list for Beyond Jerky.
I definitely love the “so delicious” stuff.. especially the cookie dough one.
I think Wicked is better!
So delicious seems to do just about everything well.
"my store says they have it. They don't have it" = almost all the fun snacks and vegmeats at my store
Just get real meats and not those lab made "vegmeats" that isnt meat.
The best gummies I’ve ever had (even including nonvegan gummies) are these vegan gummies I found at Marshall’s! They’re like 3.99 for 4oz which kinda sucks but they’re sooooo good and flavorful I have to buy them. They’re called Lady May Gourmet Vegan Gummies. Sooo good!!!
I've had the Howl mac n cheeze in the Chipotle and Sharp cheddar flavors and they were...okay. Both flavors tasted pretty much the same😆
It’s so funny how all the foods I didn’t like, I love the vegetarian/vegan alternative. I hardly every ate sausage but I love beyond meat and field roast sausage. Also last night, I made vegan sloppy joes. I never liked sloppy joes before but these were so good! So weird how that works.
Kitty!!!!
I tried the Wicked Mayo and it was awful!
I tried the wicked chocolate a few days ago and it legit tastes like dirt to me, like actually dirt from the earth.
❤❤❤❤❤
FYI Sweet Earth is owned by Nestle.
Beyond Jerky is great!! My partner ordered it off Amazon
Beyond meat jerky is sooooo good. Field Roast hot dogs are the best hot dog I have ever had in my life. Before going vegan, we were hot dog snobs lol, and we both agree that Field Roast has them all beat.
Just went pescatarian and I’m hunting around trying to find what animal products I can cut out initially without just going crazy and suddenly hating my diet. Anyway, thanks for all the resources!! But also I love Nextmilk, so clearly I’m gonna have to try for myself. You are remarkably picky for a vegan😂. God bless you for your commitment anyway. Thankfully I’m really really food open and I think I can make progress away from animal products pretty steadily.
Good luck! If you discover favorite replacements, please share them in the comments. It's always fun to find new recommendations.
pescatarian is the best, thats what i went for but i eat eggs too. Seafood and eggs. No read meat, poultry or dairy. Full vegan is terrible for your health in the long run and a waste of time. You miss to many essential vitamins on full vegan then your forced to take drugs like b12 and choline
@@paladin3116 there's so much evidence that vegan diets can be healthy. There's nothing wrong with taking supplements like B12 that have mounds of scientific support.
I miss the short-lived Tofurkey hot dogs. They were the best vegan hot dogs I'd ever had and they just stopped making them :(
Unless you try Ben and Jerry's Karmel Sutra you can not say you've eaten the best vegan ice cream in the world. The delicious ice cream with a center of beautifully melted caramel is orgasmically delicious.
On an almost entirely PB diet, I overshot my weight (loss) target. The solution was Mackie's ice cream. Happy days!
@@Unmasking_Viandalisme I don't wat Ban and Jerry's as diet food. Are you Ok?
@@nocause5395 All good, thanks!👍BMI a stable 22.2 for 3+yrs.😜Tne ice-cream episode was short-lived fun!🤗
Idk what you're talking about with Wicked mint chocolate chip. I thought it was a perfect ice cream. If anything just a little too soft. But the flavor was all there 😋
I work at Fred Meyer in the PDX area and at my store they almost always stock the beyond jerky up by the self check-out registers. Usually on top of the Coca-cola coolers. I hope you can find it soon!
Love the vego bears, eating some right now.
The So Nice Chocolate cashew ice "cream" one is tooooooo good
What will you do when your kids grow a bit older? A lot teens might not follow the diet they were raised in. eg. when they're in sleepovers etc. What will you do if your kids wants to be non vegan?
she covered that in other videos one of them being a q&a i believe
I hated brave robot. I was so excited when I bought them that the disappointment was just worse. You should try the Ben and Jerry's creme Brulee vegan ice cream. BEST VEGAN ICE CREAM EVER.
A lot of oat milk products have a weird flavor I think maybe that’s what the Trader Joe’s sandwiches have. Whatever oat milk Starbucks uses has that
My mum says that but I can never taste it, my biggest gripe with oat milk yogurt is the texture but the taste is just vaguely sweet.
I dunno what type of devils of cats others have been around but I've mainly known very well-behaved, tolerant cats that are never aggressive towards humans. EXCEPT, ironically, our first ragdoll (turning 2 in 2 months) who can either be the sweetest angel or a total demon. Think something went wrong with the "Ragdolls are laid-back and easily manageable" on his part. His 1-year-old half-sister is the polar opposite. Never bites, never scratches, only purrs :3
The Beyond jerky is good, annoyingly densely chewy but that's a jerky in general thing. The cost is a lil high but blame it on inflation and CVS
You have to review Mooless animal-free whey protein!
lol animal free whey protein? wtf. Just get real whey protein
I’m pretty sure Wicked is a U.K. Brand. I was so surprised to see it in this video! Probably why the flavours taste different to you.
that howl mac n cheese is repulsive. i think the only way i could finish the box was mixing in tons of beyond crumbles and violife cheese
My lill sister loves vegan ice cream. Everytime i have vegan she wants mine and stops eating the diary haha she also just drinks plant milk and she does not eat meat and it is so funny because she is so young
Btw: my famlily is vegetarian but grandma eats meat so she could try of she wants to but she hates it😂
Really Good
Unrelated to this video, but did you know that the Weston A. Price foundation has a recipe for homemade baby formula? So scary to see these floating around social media!
if you went to the UK you would be shocked just how much wicked food products we have
I’m obsessed with the Trader Joe’s ice cream sandwiches. Had to quit buying them ha ha.
I got addicted to enlightened mint chocolate chip ice cream from Giant and had to force myself to stop buying
I was also disappointed at how waxy the TJ's butter was. I wanted to like it!
Because its not real butter. Just get some real grass fed Butter
@@paladin3116 I simply don't want to
@@jessa5388 then dont complain about these fake "butters" then. People want to complain about taste, smell or texture of these fake butters makes no sense, just get real butter.
It's an engineering problem. We can always develop a better animal-free butter, but animal butter just is what it is.
Oh I hated the Daring brand. It's so nasty to me.
Wish I liked them because they're so easy to get
So delicious is soo good
Yeah I don't like this TJ ice cream sandwiches, TJ had a Vanilla vegan ice cream that they don't carry anymore!
I found vegan jerky at our hole in the wall gas station. Bought to support, didn’t even need. It’s an embarrassment of vegan riches out there!
who’s excited for cultured meat and sea stuff? the idea of eating it from animals is horrifying, but if it was lab grown then I would love lab grown shrimp, chicken and turkey breast, lean beef, gelatin, fat free cottage cheese, fat free greek yogurt and sour, egg whites, and bone broth, because the amount of protein per calorie is super high and im trying to put on a lot of muscle. I of course love everything plant based though, I just think having some animal free items would be great, besides the obvious massive benefits of lessening animal cruelty/exploitation/murder by appealing more to the average american, bodybuilders, etc
That belly! The surge of vegan options is incredibly amazing to me. I -need- to toss out meat. It makes me sick. Partner is a meat and potatoes sort, and my kid is all beige. Lol so it’s just me. :/
Gizmo the munchkin...
There’s a recipe for vegan Parmesan (the crumbly kind). I think it’s just cashews and nooch
Thats not parmesan cheese, thats just nut butter. Just get real parmesan
@@actinggirl333 she should just eat real parm. All these fake "cheeses" are just lab food with nasty ingredients, that are not healthy and no real nutrition compared to real parm
@@actinggirl333 No need to be triggered over a comment. I dont see why your upset over the fake parm and its not even parm. relax
What happened to your old cat? Is he still alive?
He passed away
The glorious milkers bless us again ❤❤❤
I feel like the audio is a little terrible but cool video
