Did you actually render that video to see how it looks? Because in the viewport all looks nice and dandy (I am referring at the movement of the object in the water) but in the render is a different thing. I tried this many times and in the rendered video it moves awfully, like the object doesn't have any weight (I tried with a ship). The closest I got about this is in this video ua-cam.com/video/gUWPUpY4MbE/v-deo.html (but even so, it seem that technique doesn't work in my case)
Like anything, you've got to play with it. One thing you could do is play with the number of subdivisions on your plane, reducing those, so that there are fewer reactions to your floating device. Scale, time, etc all could be played with. It's definitely not perfect out of the box.
@@WeTheFeeble Yep, but reducing the number of subdivision also reduces the quality of the render. I had more success in using the Infinity Ocean preset. It has to be a way to make a ship work with Hot4d....
Thank You!
many thanks to you
how do u make foam when the water hits a object ?? anybody ??
Can you do this with a soft body?
