Ugh the bullshit i've been going thru with FAO and their ebay division over this. Oh would have been some of the first content showing this saw, instead it'll be about incompetent FAO is and how people should take their business elsewhere.
You mean 7 1/4? 6.5" is a more accurate blade size, less flex in the blade or 'wobble' at higher RPM. Milwaukee's rear handle circular saw is an option for you, 7.25" and. Blade left.
I do think they should refresh the 7 1/4. I love the Dewalt saws, problem is I only run Milwaukee & Metabo htp now. Had the m18 7 1/4 fuel. The balance is so bad it cannot sit without rolling itself, let alone a 12amp battery, it will flip itself upside down! Dropped it only once and fence is permanently off. I've dropped my Metabo htp saw off the roof 3 times. Cracked in 4 places, still works, shoe is still straight as an arrow.
@@ProToolsApproved that's tough 🤣 Honestly surprised mine is not bent. every saw i ever dropped had a bent shoe afterward. I guess i was extra lucky. Working on roofs really lets me tests the durability!

@@ProToolsApproved sorry to hear that brother!!!
Zero response from them still. Guess i'll have to make that unhappy customer video!
weird i have one of those in my garage right now... am i missing something?
It's the NEW 6.5 inch blade left- gen 2. You have gen 1
Yeah. Sorry. This one is smaller, lighter. Most likely the first gen.
Need 7 1/2 blade left

I'm backwards. Dropped the metabo hpt once from 3 feet on concrete, barely made a sound. Crooked as a politician since.

This is very old news , not late April/24
Some of us are too busy working to be 'up on all the news' by the second. No need for the negativity.
