Roland CY-18 DR--Digital Ride Cymbal - SOFT CHOKE FIX for e-drummers

In this video I show my
"ROLAND CY-18 DR--Digital Ride Cymbal - SOFT CHOKE FIX" for external drum samplers*. (*basically any drum sampler will work!)
I'm showing it with the examples "Superior Drummer 3" and "Steven Slate Drums 5.5":
I've build a new authentical drum sampler Choke translation using the Roland CY-18DR cymbal pad.
This super authentical Choke translations features two kinds of choking and will translate 1:1 like Roland module sound:
∙∙∙ PLACE YOUR HAND ON THE SENSOR ( = lay your finger(s) or your palm softly on the BOW) and you will have a nice and soft fade out (which is adjustable using the envelope feature/fade out length) = no unwanted "Mute Tail" articulations will be triggered!
vs.:
∙∙∙ "NORMAL CHOKING": grab the rim/edge of the cymbal pad and you'll have the immediate CHOKE featuring the "Mute Tail" articulations!
(BTW: SuperiorDrummer2/3 [and also SSD5 (-- Ride-PS is provided with an additonal FIX)] "Ride Positional Sensing" is still fully supported using this Choke FIX! ).

please note:
I also provide a FIX on SSD5.5 Cymbal Choke & Mute Tail behavior (as this is not optimal in default state because the Mute Tail volume does not react dynamically and there is this unwanted short fade out which makes Chokes feel sooo laggy --- so with that other FIX it stops instantly and the "Mute Tail" will match the level of the previous hit! Also, the 'SSD5 Ride Positional Sensing' can be played with a further FIX and the SOFT CHOKE FIX will work properly with it.
(BTW: The reason why you don't see those additional FIXES here: they simply weren't ready at the time this footage was shot. :)

BTW, Crashes, Chinas and all sorts of chokable cymbal stuff from suitable drum samplers will also fully work with this SOFT CHOKING (vs. Standard Choking). ... And in addition it will even (of course limitedly) work with all sorts of sounds (that are not chokable with cymbal pads by default). 😊
