I have a pretty similar skin routine. Here's mine-
    Nighttime routine:
    1)Remove makeup with cold cream
2)Wash face with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Bar or Foaming Facial Cleanser
    3) Moisturize with CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion
    4) Apply CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum (new step, plan on using 3 nights a week to start)
    5) Apply lip moisturizer (product varies)
    Morning routine:
    1) Wash face with CeraVe cleanser(I have to wash my face in the AM, because I tend to lay my face on my hands or my husband's chest/shoulder)
2)Apply CeraVe Tinted Hydrating Face Sunscreen
    3) Apply Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream (# 21)
4)Apply Etude House Big Cover Skin Fit concealer where needed(shade Neutral Beige)
    5) Apply mineral eyeshadow
    6) Apply Wet and Wild MegaProtein Mascara
    7) Moisturize lips
    8) Spray Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel Toner on face (it makes everything meld together really well, and doesn't contain any alcohol)
I also wear a big floppy hat if I'm going to be outside for any length of time before evening.
*Both the BB cream and concealer are scented, however I've been using them both for a long time and they don't irritate my skin or allergies at all, and they really work for me. I switch up the cold cream from time to time, and some of them are fragranced.

Happy Tuesday Dr Dray and everyone ! Great video . I have been loving Function of Beauty . I am 56 and wear my hair in a pixie , I have also let my hair go natural so it has a lot of silver . The Function of Beauty leaves my hair shiny and the silver really sparkles no yellowish or dull tinge . I also am enjoying the Drmtlgy and colorscience sunscreens combined along with the eye therapy . I have oily acne prone skin and realized much of my organic makeup ( bases and concealers ) were actually worsening my skin . I have switched to these products and found that combining the 2 sunscreens and eye product really give me a beautiful finish similar to a sheer coverage foundation . No More foundation for me , you have converted me and I love it . Have a wonderful day !

Thank you for the many helpful tips, Dr Dray! I have a great family dermatologist (everyone should!) and we see her regularly , but I still learned many new things from your videos, such as: how to apply moisturizer to wet skin and around my eyes (really makes a difference, even on my 50+ skin during our cold east coast temps), Ponds fragrance free (I have used regular for years, but will get this and now know the best way to remove it), and my husband thanks you for the wide tooth comb tip - he is always picking up my hair, which falls out everywhere!! I also appreciate the scientific explanations and honest product assessments (e.g., Cerave healing ointment).

    • @eathrudhd
      @eathrudhd 4 роки тому +9

Anna Camila essentially, going in with the moisturizer immediately is to simplify your routine. the principal is the same. start your routine with damp skin (unless you’re going to exfoliate it).
so for me, onto damp skin I apply
      1) hydrating toner
      2) hydrating essence
      3) any serum depending on what my skin concern is
      4) seal it all in with moisturizer

When I first researched drmatology tinted moisturizer the site had it described as a sunscreen, moisturizer and foundation all in one.
    I was like, “wow! Perfect!”
Well, it’s a very lovely and moisturizing sunscreen, but for anyone looking for even the sheerest foundation coverage...don’t lol.
I still adore this product and purchased 3 backups, and luckily I have fairly even and smooth skin. I wear it every day (except morning runs when I wear a water resistant) but found topping it with a teeny bit of the cotz tinted mineral primer...eureka! Flawless but completely natural looking skin with a double dose of fragrance free sun protection.
I’m gonna try the under eye stuff you recommended because traditional peachy correctors under there just look too makeup-y on my 52 year old skin.
Tinted lip balm and I’m done. Since using Latisse I don’t even wear mascara anymore.
Thanks for doing what you do. I love your reviews and explanations of dermatological procedures.

Have you ever used Aquis towel? The material is good, it does not damage your hair and it lasts for years, instead of wearing t-shirts that wear out quickly. As a recommendation, I who have long hair, it is bad that you tie your wet hair, fungi can come out in your scalp and dull your hair. Let it dry loose and use headbands when you put all your skin routine :)
