How To Fix A Broken Kobalt 40V Blower

  • The battery will NOT LOCK in the blower.
    In this video I show my 40 Volt Kobalt blower and the broken battery lock switch. I repair the plastic battery lock and the disassemble the blower to replace the fixed battery lock latch. After replacing the battery lock I reassemble the blower and give it a quick test.

    You only need to remove the black handle not the blue tube.
    Also if you loose the small tavs you can use plastic tubing

      Yea I realized I could have just removed the black handle when I was editing the video, but when I do not know how something comes apart, I just start taking screws out and try not to break any plastic tabs along the way, Thanks for the comment.

    Quit griping. Mine quit working after 20 uses over a years time. Im positive its the switch

      Wow you got the short end of the stick, I had mine several years before it went bad.
